Chapter 502: Chapter 6: Bauhinia Holy Flame Foundry and New Territory Specialty Products

The Green Dragon Irelia’s recent days have been tumultuous, the war with the humans of Hesse Territory has opened Pandora’s box.

Since the beginning of this war, there has been no peace in the forest. With her diminished strength and reduced prestige, wars and rebellions have been a daily occurrence, internal challenges and external invasions make war rage every day, smoke and war signals ablaze, the entire forest seems to be weeping.

The forest is always a much more dangerous area than the plains, hiding countless evil monsters and unknown dangers under its eerie, twisted shade.

Before this, Aeliria never knew there were so many evil forces lurking in the forest.

For instance, the expansion of the Poison Blood Swamp, where the Plague Cauldron discarded by Nagash followers pollutes the water sources, causing the plants and creatures within to mutate into numerous plague monsters, Rotting Giant Hounds, Plague Priests, and the Wriggling Swarm of Nagash composed of hundreds of Gooey Little Demons, all spreading plague rampantly.

Although the Green Dragon’s minions won the battle, they were also infected with the plague, many dying around the Poison Blood Swamp.

What troubled Aeliria even more was the emergence of the Seductive Phantom Group, a sudden chaotic rift spewing forth a great deal of purple miasma, turning the shrouded area’s plants into Carnivorous Thorn Vines, animals growing extra eyes and tentacles, and any creature entering this pink fog inevitably falling into all kinds of deadly pleasures.

Even when purifying this area, Aeliria accidentally inhaled some toxic mist. This pink mist permeated with a kind of sweet, clammy scent.

Since then, the skin beneath Aeliria’s dark green scales has been blushing, and every night, the heat and excitement inside her often made her Dragon Claws dig deeply into the rock layers.

Her rapid breaths exhaled a white mist tinged with a pink halo, the soft scales on the inner side of her legs reflexively flexing.

"This damned... Chaos Poison..." Every night, the Green Dragon cursed between pants, but her voice could not be connected, and the tip of her tail would always curl into a spiral against her will.

She clearly saw in the gaps of her chest plate, where the original gold Reversed Scale turned a lewd rose-red.

Whenever the night wind brushed over the areas where the scales connected, it would provoke a tremor like an electric shock throughout her body.

She once suspected whether in the battle with humans she had gained strength, making her transition from a young dragon to an adult dragon. After all, although she was defeated in that battle, she also underwent intense slaughter.

Otherwise, it was hard to explain her body’s reaction akin to a beast in heat.

She eagerly wished she could take a deep sleep, to calm her heated body through slumber.

But instead, matters spiraled contrary to her wishes, as two mad Dragon Apes broke into her Dragon’s Nest, almost tearing off her wings while she slept and snapping her dragon neck.

Without the Elemental Giant Bear Ostanka guarding the gate for her, even resting was hard to come by.

These two Dragon Apes were indeed her greatest enemies, hailing from the Beastman Legion within the Blood Pine Forest, their brotherhood leading a large Roaring Beast herd, continually invading her territory from the east side.

Her thunderous roar shook the heavens, but couldn’t turn the tide of battle.

Because her most powerful Dragon Language Magic was always shattered to pieces by the cloying sighs spilling from her throat, without this formidable magic ability, the Green Dragon, not skilled in close combat, couldn’t defeat these two raging Dragon Apes.

If she kept fighting blindly, she might even be cruelly slain like prey torn apart by gorillas inside the Dragon’s Nest by these two primitive and savage monsters.

A series of crisis responses had indeed weakened her strength and condition significantly.

This filled her with unwillingness, as in her prime state, she could shatter these two barbaric, foolish creatures using only Dragon Language Magic.

But fortunately, when Oerstein commanded the army to purge the forest, he noticed the abnormality here and decisively provided aid.

Although many knights from the territory bore a deep-seated hatred towards this Green Dragon, wishing to devour her flesh, as followers of the deity of tactical shrewdness, they well understood the Green Dragon’s current role as a barrier for the territory.

If the Green Dragon didn’t stand like a stronghold on the eastern side of the territory, not to mention cleaning monsters at will in the western bounds of the Blood Pine Forest, they might even be directly annihilated in the next monster attack.

The Beastman Legion where these Dragon Apes resided, if they seized the Green Dragon’s former domain, their power map would expand, potentially surpassing the Green Dragon. Without waiting for next year, integrating the center of the Blood Pine Forest along with the western Blood Pine creatures would imbalance the power, with sea and mountain monsters directly wiping out the Hesse Territory.

Everyone understood that the Lord’s greatest wish now was peacefully farming, without hoping to engage in another arduous, life-and-death war.

Therefore, even harboring hatred towards the Green Dragon, they still fought bloodily, repelling this invasion by the Dragon Apes.

But by the end of the war, the Green Dragon Legion had suffered heavy losses, with only over 3,000 monsters remaining.

When the news was brought back to the territory, the Provincial Affairs Council was seriously considering whether it was necessary to continue supporting such a puppet. Someone even suggested that since such a weak puppet had lost its value, it would be better to kill it directly and seize the remaining Dragon Nest Treasure, to accelerate their own development.

But ultimately, Oliver restrained himself from impulsiveness, acknowledging that wealth could be rapidly increased, but the population could not recover quickly.
