Yao Yuelong's private dwelling was quite secluded, far from the other villagers.

In the depths of the secluded forest, a narrow, winding path snaked into the woods. Strange flowers and exotic herbs lined the way, exuding waves of rich fragrance. Bright moonlight spilled through the gaps in the leaves, dappling the path with spots of light like scattered gemstones.

Sun Zhe followed quietly behind Yao Yuelong, looking honest and unassuming. But his eyes were anything but honest. He couldn't stop sneaking glances at Yao Yuelong's enchanting figure, stirring the Yang Qi within him. Even veiled by her gauzy skirt, her plump, peach-like rear looked irresistibly pert and alluring. Sun Zhe's eyes lit up as he swallowed hard.

What a masterpiece! She's a goddess of asses!

She has to be older than that stone-faced Yao Rao. Who knows how many hundreds of years this old monster has lived.

Damn it, the more I look at her, the more I want to take her.

Shit… what am I thinking?

Sun Zhe suddenly felt his head spin. Gazing at the bewitching immortal before him and inhaling her orchid-and-musk-like scent, his mind couldn't help but wander as the Yang Qi inside him grew even more agitated. He was even tempted to activate his Yin Yang X-ray Vision to get a proper look.

Before long, they reached the end of the path, and Sun Zhe's "ordeal" was finally over. He stopped and looked up. Beneath the moonlight stood an exquisitely designed waterside pavilion. It was built over a pond and nearly touched the steep cliff face, exuding the ethereal air of an Immortal Realm, as if it were the secluded home of an Exiled Immortal. From the cliff above, a silver waterfall plunged downward. Illuminated by the moonlight, it truly looked like a galaxy falling from the heavens.

"This place is really nice," Sun Zhe praised sincerely.

Yao Yuelong said faintly, "I have lived here for hundreds of years."

Upon hearing this, Sun Zhe's eyes widened in disbelief. "Hundreds of years? Then your age…"

Yao Yuelong replied, "I don't even know how old I am, but age has no significance to me anymore."

Sun Zhe thought she sounded a bit pretentious, but he didn't know what to say, so he just remained silent.

Just then, Yao Yuelong raised a jade-like arm. With a gentle wave, her soft, delicate hand emerged from her gauze sleeve. Her five slender fingers cut through the air, and a wave of gentle yet irresistible True Qi swept forth, instantly parting the waterfall against the cliff. The True Qi seemed to linger, holding the waterfall apart.

Sun Zhe stared and saw a dark cave entrance hidden behind the waterfall.

"That is my seclusion grotto," Yao Yuelong said. "It contains many rare and precious medicinal herbs. The ones you're looking for are all there."

As she spoke, she waved her hand again. An invisible force wrapped around Sun Zhe like a silk ribbon. Then, like a startled swan, she leaped from the ground, carrying him as she soared toward the grotto like a Yaochi Fairy riding the clouds.

Inside the grotto was a world of its own; it was as if the entire mountain had been hollowed out. The furnishings, however, were simple. There was only a large Cold Jade Bed that resembled an enormous piece of Fluorite, emitting a faint white glow and waves of cold air. Beside the Cold Jade Bed, strange green vines climbed the stone wall, laden with small, glowing berries.

"Is this ice bed what you use for your seclusion?"

Yao Yuelong didn't answer, instead leading him to another area.

A moment later, she led Sun Zhe into a spacious stone chamber. The chamber was brightly lit by glowing pieces of Fluorite placed all around. As soon as he stepped inside, he saw rows of transparent crystal cabinets filled with a dazzling and countless array of rare treasures. The stone walls were also lined with dense niches displaying various antiques.

Sun Zhe was dazzled. "If any of these antiques were taken outside," he exclaimed, "a single one would be worth a fortune!"

Yao Yuelong replied faintly, "They are all part of the dowry I prepared for myself."

Hearing this, Sun Zhe decisively shut his mouth. The mention of a dowry reminded him of the marriage contract Yao Yuelong had shown him earlier.

Yao Yuelong said, "Go find the herbs."

Sun Zhe said no more and walked ahead as if trying to escape.

Yao Yuelong stood at the entrance to the stone chamber, quietly watching Sun Zhe, feeling somewhat surprised. According to her calculations, the aphrodisiac should have already taken effect, yet Sun Zhe was acting as if nothing was wrong. What she didn't know was that Sun Zhe had already realized he was drugged and was secretly using his True Qi to suppress the drug's effects.

***

Damn it! So that's why I wanted to jump her the moment I saw her. She drugged me!

Just how desperate for a child is this Priest?

Sun Zhe stood before the cabinets, his expression pained, feeling as if his mental and physical defenses could collapse at any moment. He was now certain that the drug came from that red snake! The feeling was identical to how he'd felt after consuming the red snake's Blood Essence.

He bit his tongue hard, using the pain to keep himself lucid as he frantically searched for the herbs.

Soon, he had gathered all the herbs he needed. He found a bag, packed them up, and walked back toward Yao Yuelong.

"Priest Yao, I've found the herbs," he said. "Time is of the essence. I have to get back and help the Su Family's Great Tributor with his detoxification and recovery."

Yao Yuelong, however, stood unmoving in the doorway as if unwilling to let him go. "There's no rush," she said.

Sun Zhe stared at her. "A life is on the line."

Yao Yuelong pursed her lovely lips. "There is something I wish to discuss with you."

A bad premonition suddenly struck Sun Zhe. He guessed she wanted to talk about the marriage contract. "We can talk," he said bitterly, "but you didn't have to drug the wine to do it."

"So, you've discovered it."

"I just did."

"I'm sorry," Yao Yuelong said, a hint of guilt in her eyes. "My methods may have been despicable, but I am truly out of time. I desperately need the bloodline of your Sun Family."

As she spoke, she met his gaze, her attitude gradually becoming firm and unyielding.

The two stood facing each other in silence.

Suddenly, Sun Zhe clenched his jaw as if he had made a decision. He threw the bag of herbs to the ground and advanced on Yao Yuelong, his bloodshot eyes fixed on her.

"When it comes right down to it, don't you just want to get fucked?"

Hearing his blatant, filthy words, a blush crept onto Yao Yuelong's pretty face, and she quickly turned her head away. "The procreation of offspring is a natural instinct. How can you describe it so vulgarly?"

Sun Zhe took a deep breath and moved closer again.

At this point, Sun Zhe couldn't be bothered with holding back any longer. Besides, he couldn't suppress the potent drug anyway. A feast delivered to his doorstep—it would be a waste not to indulge. Especially when it was such an exquisite immortal beauty.

"To be honest," he said, "I really can't hold back anymore."

Yao Yuelong looked back at him. "And so?"

Without another word, Sun Zhe swept her up into his arms and strode toward the Cold Jade Bed outside. "Priest Yao, it's not too late to regret this. But once I really get started, don't you come crying to me."

Yao Yuelong's expression remained placid. To her, this seemed to be a simple and ordinary matter, as common as eating or sleeping.

She asked, puzzled, "Why would I cry?"

A savage grin spread across Sun Zhe's face. "You'll find out soon enough."
