Plunder-Chapter 237 Counterattack (Part 2)
Early the next morning, Ding Hao woke up in shock, and upon opening his eyes, he found himself like a monkey in the zoo, surrounded by a crowd of elderly people who were up early for exercise.
Then, he realized he was lying on the grass in the park, sprawled out, and completely naked.
"How can you be so shameless?"
"Do you even know what embarrassment is?"
"You’re simply a pervert!"
...
The people who were watching him attacked him personally with various comments.
Ding Hao looked all around for his clothes, but all he could find was the green grass, not even a scrap of paper.
Last night, he had drunk too much and only remembered the scenes of his antics in the private room.
Afterward, he left with two women, and what happened next was a complete blank to him.
The two women drove him around Rong City several times until he was completely passed out drunk.
What he didn’t know was that before he woke up, his outrageous behavior in the car from the night before had already spread online.
The women’s faces were all pixelated, leaving only him completely exposed.
At that moment, Ding Hao could not care less, he covered his private parts with his hands, got up, and ran.
The park was vast, and there were many people up early exercising.
His naked run through the park quickly became a most dazzling sight.
Without money or a cellphone, he couldn’t take any means of transport or buy anything; he could only run all the way home naked.
Somebody with intention filmed a video and uploaded it online, where he once again became the center of attention in that virtual world.
But Ding Hao was oblivious to all of these.
By the time he found out he had become a synonym for vulgarity and lewdness online, it was already too late.
The Ding Family had arrived early at Ding Hao’s place.
They had come to question and blame him but had not expected to catch the spectacle of Ding Hao running home naked.
Upon seeing this, Ding Hao’s father’s face turned green with anger, "You useless trash, even if you don’t care about your face, I still do!"
He raised his hand to slap him.
Ding Hao’s mother quickly grabbed her husband’s arm, "If you want your face back, go and pick it up yourself, don’t take it out on the child."
"Oh, isn’t this our rising internet star, the shameless brother? Are the emperor’s new clothes in fashion now? Were you flaunting your physique to the elderly in the park this morning?"
Ding Ruyi folded her arms, taking pleasure in his misfortune and mocking him.
Ding Ruxin frowned, "Hurry up and get inside to put on some clothes."
Ding Hao felt a fire burning inside him, he had been thoroughly schemed against.
It was one thing for the Ding Family to be disappointed with him – after all, they were family. Despite the complaints and disappointments, they still chose to be tolerant of him.
After a shower and putting on a clean set of clothes, he set out the door without a second thought.
Ding Ruyi began mocking again, "Oh, you think your face wasn’t lost enough? What, are you about to go for another naked lap around Rong City?"
"Brother, don’t blame me for not warning you, but your body is not as good as you think. It’s all just skinny... no decent muscle at all..."
Before she could finish her sentence, Ding Hao suddenly slapped her face with his hand.
"Did you hit me?"
Ding Ruyi was slapped, and unwilling to accept it, she covered her face, her eyes instantly reddening.
"Mom, did you see that? He dares to hit me now."
Ding Ruyi wanted to tell on him.
Ding Hao’s mother showed an attitude of indifference, while Ding Ruxin became concerned, "Sister, our brother must be suffering inside, stop talking."
"What’s he suffering from? He’s now thrown away the face of the Ding Family. Do you know what those people online are calling him? They’re calling him a hooligan, a lowlife!"
"Shut your mouth!"
This time, it was Ding Hao’s father who scolded Ding Ruyi.
"Dad, why are you yelling at me?"
Ding Ruyi exploded like a lit firework.
Ding Hao straightaway opened the door and walked out.
Ding Hao’s father kept sighing and said to Ding Hao’s mother, "Why don’t you go after him?"
"You go if you want to, I’m not going."
Ding Hao’s mother haughtily walked to the sofa, turned on the TV with the remote control, and focused on the television, detaching herself from the situation.
Qiao En also saw what happened online.
The footage was clear, there was no fabrication.
The audio too was clear, it was Ding Hao’s distinct voice.
Qiao En didn’t expect that Ding Hao was like this in private.
She felt frightened just thinking about it; she had nearly married him.
Ding Hao went straight to Jinma Entertainment.
He spent a hefty sum to identify the two women who schemed against him last night.
However, unexpectedly, the two women were like ghosts; there was no trace of them in the surveillance footage.
Ding Hao, blinded by rage, caused a huge scene at Jinma Entertainment, smashing everything he could in the hall.
Afterwards, a spark of inspiration flashed through his mind, and he suddenly thought of Zhou Jin’an.
Therefore, he immediately changed direction and headed to Chu Garden.
When he arrived, Zhou Jin’an was not at home.
Sister Rong went to open the door.
"Mr. Ding, the young master isn’t home," she said.
Before Sister Rong could finish speaking, Ding Hao forcefully squeezed his way in.
Qiao En was in the living room, folding the freshly laundered baby clothes when Ding Hao rushed in abruptly.
"Young Madam, I couldn’t stop him," Sister Rong followed Ding Hao and entered behind him, gasping for breath from the effort.
Ding Hao was like a lion seething with rage, his eyes bloodshot as he stared fixedly at Qiao En.
"Where’s Zhou Jin’an? Tell him to come out," he bellowed, clenching his fists and raising his voice.
Qiao En slowly stood up, her gaze turning towards Ding Hao.
"Jin’an is busy with work today. He’s gone on a business trip and won’t be back until tomorrow."
But Ding Hao didn’t believe it.
"Bullshit! He’s just hiding from me. If he’s man enough to do it, why doesn’t he have the guts to admit it? Resorting to such despicable tactics to deal with me, what kind of man is he?" Ding Hao cursed furiously.
Qiao En grabbed a cup from the coffee table and splashed the water inside straight into Ding Hao’s face.
He froze instantly, staring straight at Qiao En.
"This is my home, Mr. Ding, please be more polite with your words," she said.
"You want me to be more polite?"
Ding Hao’s emotions were utterly out of control as those bloodshot eyes bore into Qiao En.
"Do you know what he’s turned me into? Let me tell you, this move is even more hateful than killing me."
"This has nothing to do with Jin’an," Qiao En defended Zhou Jin’an.
But Ding Hao didn’t believe her.
"It must be him, I can guarantee it, it’s definitely him," he insisted fiercely.
Qiao En’s expression cooled, "Where’s the evidence?"
Of course, Ding Hao had no evidence in his hand.
"You want evidence? Sooner or later I’ll definitely give it to you"
"Please leave my home now—"
Qiao En stretched her hand towards the doorway, shouting at Ding Hao.
Sister Rong had secretly sent a message to Zhou Jin’an, who originally planned to go on a business trip. Considering the sudden turn of events and with Qiao En being unsafe alone at home, he canceled his travel plans.
At the time Zhou Jin’an received the message from Sister Rong, he was hurrying back home.
As soon as he entered the house, he saw Ding Hao eyeing Qiao En predatorily.
Acting out of protective instinct, he rushed over and shielded Qiao En in his arms.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
Qiao En shook her head, "I’m fine. Why did you come back? Weren’t you going on a business trip?"
Zhou Jin’an’s deep gaze shifted from Qiao En’s face to Ding Hao’s.
"I’ve decided not to go for now. You go upstairs," he said softly into Qiao En’s ear.
Although Qiao En was not at ease, she obediently went upstairs.
Only Ding Hao and Zhou Jin’an were left in the living room.
He slipped off his suit jacket and slowly unbuttoned his cuffs, asking, "Do we fight in the yard or here?"
Ding Hao turned and walked towards the outside; Zhou Jin’an quickly followed him out.
It wasn’t clear who threw the first punch, but in an instant, the two men were entangled in a fight.
Qiao En stood at the second-floor windowsill, witnessing the contest with her own eyes.
Ding Hao was aggressive in his demeanor, but his strength and skills were clearly no match for Zhou Jin’an.
After about a dozen rounds, Ding Hao was soon defeated.
He was pinned to the ground by Zhou Jin’an, who rubbed his face roughly into the dirt.
Afterwards, he was thrown out of Chu Garden.
Ding Hao, wounded in both body and spirit, found himself mired in deep humiliation.
But that wasn’t the worst of it.
That very afternoon, he received a phone call from the hospital firing him.
Then, his medical license was revoked.
Ding Hao’s career as a doctor was utterly over.
Of course, the troubles didn’t end there.
