Chapter 256: Chapter 256: Death Pervert

"President An, we have an unexpected gain."

Xu Mei, dressed in a sequined spaghetti strap dress, wriggled her waist into the shadows of the light and dialed An Jinhua’s number.

"What?"

On the other end of the phone, An Jinhua’s voice was chilling and indifferent.

"Zhou Jin’an’s assistant is in the bar, dead drunk. Do we send him a ’big gift’?"

Xu Mei squinted her eyes, her gaze shifting back to Cheng Lu.

In front of him on the table were already seven or eight empty bottles.

The lights interweaved around him, making him look particularly forlorn.

"As long as no one dies, do whatever you want."

An Jinhua issued the command.

Xu Mei tugged at the corner of her mouth, revealing a smug smile, "Rest assured, you never received this call from me today; you are unaware."

After hanging up the phone, Xu Mei took out a cigarette from her bag and lit it with deliberate slowness.

She found a secluded spot at the bar and hid in the crowd, watching Cheng Lu with interest.

He drank bottle after bottle.

His straight back was markedly different from the rest of the bar’s aimlessly wandering patrons.

If he weren’t Zhou Jin’an’s assistant, Xu Mei would have most wanted to approach him right now.

A few minutes later, Xu Mei snapped her fingers toward the back room.

Soon, a man with dyed yellow hair appeared.

"Sister Mei, what’s up?"

The yellow-haired man stood respectfully in front of Xu Mei.

Xu Mei pursed her lips in a gesture, directing his attention to Cheng Lu, "That guy is your problem now; deal with him as you please."

A gleeful look immediately bloomed in Yellow Hair’s eyes.

"Thanks, Sister Mei."

With that, he picked up a glass and headed toward Cheng Lu.

Under the dim lights and amongst the noisy crowd, only that corner was shrouded in solitude.

"Handsome, drinking alone?"

Yellow Hair plopped down beside Cheng Lu, draping an arm naturally over Cheng Lu’s shoulder.

"Get your filthy hands off me!"

Cheng Lu growled lowly.

His eyes, bloodshot from drinking, glared sideways at Yellow Hair.

But Yellow Hair remained unmoved, "Why so fierce? I saw you drinking your sorrows away alone and came to keep you company. Don’t be so ungrateful, now. Come on, let’s have a drink together; after this glass, all your worries will be gone."

As he spoke, Yellow Hair tipped his head back and poured the entire contents of the glass down his throat.

"Scram!"

Cheng Lu shouted again.

Without getting angry, Yellow Hair picked up the bottle to pour Cheng Lu a drink.

Cheng Lu snatched the bottle instead.

A loud "smash" resounded.

The bottle in his hand struck the table, spilling liquor everywhere, while the jagged end was now pressed against Yellow Hair’s throat.

"Got a death wish, eh?"

Cheng Lu’s eyes flashed with cold light, sending chills through Yellow Hair.

Yellow Hair hastily gestured with his hands, "Big brother, let’s talk this out."

"Get as far away as you can."

Cheng Lu growled again.

Yellow Hair didn’t dare delay any longer and, like rubbing oil on the soles of his feet, scampered away with his glass.

"Got chased away?"

From the shadows of the bar, Xu Mei gloated with a smile.

Yellow Hair touched the blood mark on his neck and spitefully spat on the ground.

"Ungrateful bastard."

He cursed angrily.

"Seems like you didn’t appreciate the ’gift’ I sent you."

Xu Mei, with her orchid finger raised, leisurely took another drag of her cigarette.

Yellow Hair glanced back at Cheng Lu, who exuded masculinity and was radiating pheromones.

"Appreciate it? Why wouldn’t I? I’m tired of domestic cats; a wild horse like this could be interesting. What if I managed to tame him?"

"That’s good, because I have no respect for cowards."

Xu Mei provocatively threw in her comment, then stubbed out her cigarette in the ashtray.

"I’ve booked a hotel room for you; I wish you get what you desire."

Xu Mei left with an elegant smile.

As soon as she left, the light in Yellow Hair’s eyes dimmed.

He passed a sachet of powder to the bartender.

"Give this award to him."

He stretched out his hand and pointed at Cheng Lu.

The bartender got the hint and promptly complied.

Soon, Cheng Lu’s table was cleared of all the drinks, and he waved for more.

"Another dozen."

The server immediately carried out the order.

It wasn’t until the early hours of the morning that Cheng Lu staggered to his feet.

He had a good tolerance for alcohol; a dozen bottles of beer couldn’t get him drunk.

But, as he left the bar, his body was unbearably hot, and his brain gradually fogged.

Having spent many years by Zhou Jin’an’s side, he had been through all kinds of situations.

So, he quickly realized that someone had drugged him.

Thus, he hastened to the roadside to hail a car.

At that moment, leaving was the safest option.

However, as soon as he reached the roadside, the bleached-blond guy started pestering him again.

"Handsome, going home? Let me give you a ride!"

He flaunted a set of car keys in his hand.

"Get lost——"

Cheng Lu roared loudly.

A taxi arrived, and Cheng Lu extended his hand to pull the door open, but the bleached-blond threw a big red bill at the driver.

Understanding the signal, the driver didn’t wait for Chen Lu to open the door and immediately drove off.

"What the hell do you want?"

Cheng Lu couldn’t vent his fury anywhere, so he grabbed the bleached-blond’s collar.

The bleached-blond revealed an innocuously sweet smile, "I’ll take you home, all roads lead home no matter how far."

"To hell with your granny!"

Cheng Lu’s emotions exploded completely, and he threw his fists at the bleached-blond’s face.

The bleached-blond had no defense and instantly fell to the ground.

As he lay there, he spat on the ground; there was already blood in his mouth.

"I like wild horses like you!"

The bleached-blond said with a lewd laugh.

"Did you drug me?"

Cheng Lu shook his head, trying hard to remain clear-headed.

The bleached-blond slowly got up from the ground, his mouth splitting into a smug grin.

"Don’t take it so seriously when you’re out to play, alright? The first time’s a fluke, the second a familiarity, I guarantee by tonight you’ll fall in love with me."

The bleached-blond was gay.

But Cheng Lu was not.

To the staunchly heterosexual Cheng Lu, he only found homosexuality disgusting, and even being fancied by a gay man repulsed him.

So, he stumbled over, hoisted the bleached-blond up, and started flailing punches down like raindrops.

"Love your bloody head! You damn pervert, go to hell!"

The harder he punched, the happier the bleached-blond laughed.

Later, Cheng Lu grew tired from the beating.

He crashed to the ground, a burning sensation in his body like a million ants feasting on his heart, while his blurry consciousness gradually slipped from his control.

He continuously shook his head and slapped his own face with his palm, but clarity lasted only an instant.

"Being stubborn gets you nowhere; the drug I used is the latest kind, and no one can resist it. Tonight, you’re mine."

The bleached-blond walked towards Cheng Lu, leaning down to whisper in his ear.

Then, he pulled out his phone and dialed a number.

"Come, pick up the goods."

Soon, a black van appeared.

The door opened and four or five men got out.

The bleached-blond pointed at Cheng Lu, "Take him away."

He struggled, but he was no match for those men.

Some held down his hands while others tied up his feet.

He was bundled up and lifted into the van.

The bleached-blond sat next to Cheng Lu, caressing his cheeks with his dirty hands.

"Feeling awful, right? Don’t worry, I’ll make you feel good in a bit."

After speaking, his hand continued down Cheng Lu’s neck, inching into his collar.

Cheng Lu had no power to resist; his bloodshot eyes glared fiercely at the bleached-blond.

The van sped away from the bar.

Afterward, it pulled up in front of a hotel.

Then Cheng Lu remembered nothing more...
