It was interesting that Infernape had a passive move. It also knew a new move called 'Focus Flames' which was impressive. Before the start of the battle, Axel looked at the move description of both of the Pokemons.

Focus Flames: The user could concentrate its fire energy on a certain part of its body enhancing the fire power.

Fury Domain: Create a pre-domain 15 meters around the user. Fire type moves would be enhanced and the physical stats of the user will enhance too.

Enhanced Stamina: Passively improve stamina recovery.

Concentrated poison: Can create a concentrated poison that could either be diluted to create various effects or used on the enemy for more penetrating power.

Poison run: Improve the agility of the user via poison manipulation.

All of these moves were great. Infernape was a powerful Pokemon that could use its martial arts in various ways. It's speed and attack power was commendable and it also had moves like 'Sunny day' and 'Heat wave' that could control the battlefield.

While, Toxtricity was different. It was more of a control Pokemon. It specialized on poison as it had poison core but it also knew a lot of electric moves. It had had some physical moves, so he didn't know that was its fighting style.

"It will be an interesting battle to see.", said Axel to Serena.

"Let's the battle Begin!!!", shouted the referee.

"Heatwave"

"Electric terrain"

Both of them used the moves that affected the environment. This showed the experience that they had. Using these kinds of moves were very helpful at the start of the battle.

The 'Electric terrain' created an area filled with electricity and magnetic energy. While, 'Heat wave' had farther reach. The surrounding got a lot hotter and pulse made of fire started to move and strike towards Toxtricity.

But it looked like the 'Electric terrain' was very strong and it had been modified. Because, those pulse of flames lost most of their effects as they touched the electric field.

Infernape gave a loud roar and it rushed towards Toxtrictiy to attack. Axel could tell that it had already used the move 'Focus flame' as its legs and hands were covered in powerful flames.

Toxtricity also gave a roar and a massive aura of electricity came out of its body as it expanded and hit Infernape. This was the move 'Shock wave' which was clearly strengthened.

"Now use 'Sludge wave'", said John

This move took some time to activate, so it was perfect to use right now as Infernape was flown away by 'Shock wave'. The wave of poison was not as huge as Nidoking's but covered a considerable area.

Infernape was just going to collide with it. But, it looked like John had underestimated Infernape's agility.

"Fly in the sky and then use 'Flamethrower'", shouted Kate.

The fire which was concentrated before on its fist and legs were not fully concentrated on both of its legs. Infernape jumped and then stomped on the ground with its legs. The impact made it fly even higher. It continued to the same thing as it jumped higher and higher and it sort of controlled itself in the sky.

"This is brilliant. I never thought of a move like that.", exclaimed Krishna.

"Yes, this Kate is very creative and a powerful trainer. I am surprised that we got her.", commented Axel.

Since Infernape was flying with the help of 'Focus flames', the wave of poison didn't affect it. So it used the move 'Flamethrower' from the sky to hit Toxtricity.

Toxtricity used the move 'Thunder bolt' to counter 'Flamethrower' but it looked like the flames of Infernape were strong.

It defeated the bolt of electricity and then went towards Toxtricity.

BOOOM

There was a massive explosion and no one knew what had happened. Suddenly, a yellow-colored electric ball came and hit Infernape.

The hit must have caused it damage cause it fell from the sky and crashed to the ground. This was the move, 'Electro ball'.

One might expect, how Toxtricity was able to escape. It was actually simple. 'Volt switch'. It was a very powerful move and that helped it escape. It was also very fast. But looking at Toxtricity, Axel could tell that it had used a massive amount of stamina to use that move.

'Volt switch' took a lot from its users.

Infernape, tried to stand up but its movement were clearly restricted. It was paralyzed. This might be the deciding moment of the battle. But Infernape was also not going to go down so easily.

It started to beat its chest with both of its hands. The beating that it took itself was powerful as its chest started to have multiple wounds. It was bleeding from its chest. But suddenly, its aura changed. It looked way more powerful than before.

It used the move 'Belly drum'.

But why had it done so?

That was answered just after a few seconds when it gave a roar and fire started to surround its whole body, then the whole surrounding. The heat had increased to an incredible level.

This was its ability 'Blaze'.

But that was not the end of it. The fire that was covering its body actually started to ignite its whole body and Axel suddenly realized that it was out of paralysis.

"I don't understand. How did it get out of paralysis?", asked Hector.

"That is quite easy. It has created a new move that would help it concentrate its firepower in a single part of its body. So, when it got paralyzed, it first used the move 'Belly drum' to increase its attack. But that was not its intention.

It actually wanted to decrease its health.", said Axel.

"Decrease its health?"

"Yes, so that it could use its ability 'Blaze'. After using 'Blaze', its fire power increased a lot. So, with the increase in its fire power and also its 'Focus flames', it concentrated on the parts of the body that was paralyzed and burned the paralyzed part of the body."

"That was cruel.", commented Ashmita.

"No, actually, it is not. Infernape is fire type Pokemon and it has a very high resistance to fire. It would not get hurt so much by being burned by its own flames."

It really did have the capability to finish this battle as soon as possible. It was known for its physical powers and now with its attack stats raised to the limit, it could finish this battle as soon as possible but that would only happen if it could connect its hit.

John also knew about it. He just had to make sure that Infernape would stay away from Toxtricity.

Infernape had also used the move 'Agility' but it could only use it one time cause it could already see that Toxtricity was ready for another move. But its speed had still increased by a lot.

It rushed towards Toxtricity and then it fell on the ground again with a painful roar.

It had stepped on one of the 'Toxic spikes' that Toxtricity had laid out on the ground. This surprised Axel too cause even he could not see those spikes. It looked like it was almost invisible. This Toxtricity had really trained on this move.

Just as Infernape was getting ready to finish this battle as soon as possible it was hit by 'Sludge bomb'

This had further poisoned Infernape.

Removing paralysis and poison were two different things. Paralysis only affected some parts of its body but poison affected many parts of its body and Infernape didn't have the time to do it. It just had to finish this battle as soon as possible.

"Use 'Calm mind'", said Kate with a calm voice.

She knew that she was losing this battle. If she could not keep herself calm at this time, then the battle would already be lost.

This was an unexpected move at this time. No one knew what Kate was thinking but Axel did have some hypothesis.

Infernape was already angry after using 'Blaze'. It was very hard to control the emotions that come with 'Blaze'. One of the hidden disadvantages of using this ability was that it decreases your defense. The decrease was not so noticeable but at a crucial time, it did make a difference.

Using 'Calm mind' might improve its special defense and attack but it also clamed the mind of the Pokemon. This was what Kate was going for.

"Now, use 'Raging fury' and 'Fire punch'", said Kate.

'Raging fury' as its name lets the user use fire-type physical attacks with pure anger. What Axel wanted to see was that this Infernape would combine 'Clam mind' and 'Raging fury' at the same time and create some sort of a miracle.

Somehow its speed had reached the impossible level and even Toxtrictiy could not dodge it with its 'Volt strike'. It didn't even have the time to use the move.

That was all Infernape could do before Toxtricity was flown off as it crashed to the ground creating a massive sound.

The power of the attack was so huge that Axel doubted if Toxtricity could get up again.

But it did get up but with difficulty. It had multiple wounds on its body and it seemed to be in bad shape.

"Use 'Rain dance'", said John.

It was time to end this. With its injured body, it started to dance and dark clouds started to form.

None of them could understand what was happening. Even if rain could decrease the effect of firepower of Infernape, it would not decrease to the point that Toxtricity could survive another hit.

Heavy rain came after a few seconds but those few seconds were what Infernape needed. It rushed towards Toxtricity with the same speed as it had done before but this time Toxtricity was able to counter it.

Infernape fell to the ground with a painful roar and Toxtricity used some sort of inhumane speed to dodge its attack and just got behind it.

Infernape had been hit by a powerful 'Venoshock' as it was just about to hit Toxtricity. The power of this move was very high cause Toxtricity was highly poisoned.

Then something happened that even Axel had not expected it. Cause it was not even mentioned in the stats of Toxtricity.

Toxtricity used the move 'Electric terrain'. That was not abnormal. Then it used the move 'Shock wave' as magically, the area effect and power of 'Electric terrain' increased and it also covered Infernape. Then it looked at the sky and gave a powerful roar and then used the move 'Electro ball' and 'Thunder bolt' on the sky.

After that powerful thunder came and hit Infernape. The power of this thunder was at an unimaginable level. Axel had seen Pokemons use the move 'Thunder' before but it was not as strong as that.

A massive explosion occurred and there was a bright flash of light. The explosion caused the stadium to shake like a mini earthquake and no one knew if Infernape was alive.
