101 Rescue Mission

After giving her some time to arrange her shaky breath, Rong Yue spoke up “Xu Ning?”

“Who is this?” Her tone was guarded and cautious which was expected.

“You helped me sometime in the past, I’m here to return the favor, if you of course want my help,” Rong Yue said slowly, she made sure each of her words were clear.

Thinking this was a bait, Xu Ning refused quickly, “I don’t need help, thank you,”

After that, the line went dead making Rong Yue sigh helplessly. However, instead of giving up, she hurriedly called back.

“Even if you surrender, you would be giving your life up for someone as wretched as your uncle. If he can use his kids as a gamble, you can be certain that even later, when he has you in his palm, there’s no guarantee of those kids been safe,”

On the other end of the call, Xu Ning’s were trembling as she stared in shock.

She knew everything!

For someone that had been abused all her life by her uncle, this was her first time of fighting back. More than all the job and skills, she didn’t mind her reputation being tarnished, after all, her plan had been to go to another continent and live peacefully.

But when her uncle had decided to ruthlessly use those kids as a bargaining chip, she didn’t dare to make any drastic decision.

“W..who are you?” She finally asked again.

“When you agree to let me help you, I would eventually let you know who I am then,” Rong Yue replied and her fists clenched at the silence on the other end.

“Even if it doesn’t go well, the most that could happen is you eventually having to do what he wants,” since she already knew that her team player was someone that didn’t know how to face challenges head on, and would rather survive in silence, she knew that she couldn’t just push her forcefully.

After about five minutes of torturous silence where all Rong Yue did was listen to Xu Ning’s breathing over the phone, she spoke up.

“What do you need me to do?”

“Nothing much, I’ll ask for your address as soon as I get your cousins and keep them in a safe place. I know that as soon as they are safe, only then can you be as ruthless as I want you to be.”

“Before then, you are not allowed to give up or turn yourself in!” Rong Yue said fiercely and then hung up on the phone.

She looked at Qin Yichen that had remained quiet the whole time but didn’t for once take his gaze away from her.

“Do you think she would wait?” She asked as she took his glass of unfinished juice and downed it in one go.

“She would wait, this is all she has now.”

“But, how do you intend to take her cousins, from the surveillance, they are with their father and the one being taken out is simply accompanying their father, which means you can’t use the police.” Although he had a solution for all of it, he wanted to know what her plans were, after all, he knew that his little girl wasn’t someone that was weak.

“I’ll take the one that is always accompanying the father while they are out. As for the ones at home, I hope to hire some men to carry out the task,” she pulled out her phone to show him the surveillance of the house.

“From here, if someone sneaks in and sneaks out, it would be difficult for the neighbors to see, so I intend to use that entrance.” She explained and Rong Yue nodded in agreement.

“That is also so good, share the video with me and I would have some men go there tomorrow as soon as their father leaves the house,” Qin Yichen said, taking off the burden of her needing to find manpower.

“Thank you,” Rong Yue murmured, genuinely grateful. When she had rushed down to the capital, she hadn’t even thought that she was going to get his support or any support at all.

“The house has a fierce security system. But I can handle it, it only means that I have to be close by when they are planning to rescue them,” she informed him as she stood up to clear the dishes.

“Okay, we would go together then,” Qin Yichen didn’t ask her how she planned to save the other child. To him, as long as she wanted it, there was nothing she couldn’t do.

“Leave the dishes and get some rest, the housekeeper would come over to do it in a bit,” Qin Yichen said as he pulled her along with him to the room he had prepared for her.

Thinking that the house keeper was coming, Rong Yue didn’t struggle also, after all, she had a busy day and was genuinely tired also.

However, after closing her room door, Qin Yichen came back to pack the dishes himself. For someone that enjoyed his space so much, he didn’t appreciate staff being there when he was. However, if he didn’t tell her that, it would be impossible to get Rong Yue to go upstairs that easily.

After a good night sleep, the first thing Rong Yue did was go for a challenging workout, since she was carrying out an operation save today, she had to be sure of her physical stamina.

By the time she got down, Qin Yichen already had breakfast and was making some calls. Upon hearing her footsteps, he turned back to look at her with a smile.

“Have all of them wait for me outside the estate, I would be out soon,” He said and then hung up.

The both of them had breakfast very quickly and even Rong Yue that loved food perhaps more than her life, ate only a little today.

With a team already waiting outside the estate, three cars drove towards a remote area of the capital. As for Rong Yue, she was on her computer more than half the time.

Very quickly, they had arrived at the area that Xu Che was living.

Rong Yue’s fingers flew swiftly across the keyboard and a soft clicking sound was the only thing that showed that there were people in the car.

Qin Yichen on the other hand just passed the time by looking at those familiar fingers as they passed over the keyboard.

If he hadn’t been sure previously, then this would have allowed him to be certain that the person from that day was the one right in front of him.

But as he already knew, he just admired her speed and elegant fingers silently.

After a while, her fingers finally stopped as she leaned her head back on the backrest.

“They are inside there already,” she said with a sigh, yet her eyes never fully left the screen as she watched them take the other two kids.

One had to admit that they were swift and, more than just the kids, they also packed their essentials for them so that they wouldn’t feel like they were too away from home.

When they were done, they came out the way Qin Yichen had ordered exactly and left the house.

“Master,” the head of the team said as soon as they came out.

“Take them to where we already arranged and have two follow this car, make sure they are well taken care of. No harm must touch them.” He ordered and Lu Bo who was in the driver’s seat looked back in surprise.

For Qin Yichen that hated to say so many words, he sure did give many exceptions when he was around Rong Yue.
