President Qin's Little Wife Is The Strongest-Chapter 155: Finding Qin Yichen
After hours of tracking his phone and using the surveillance cameras from the competition venue, Rong Yue finally found Qin Yichen's location.
Her eyes narrowed as she looked at the spot where a red dot was hovering over.
Until she turned 25 in her last life, she had never heard about this place and if she never got to go to the organization, she would have lived life not knowing a place like this existed.
Although it was not as dangerous as the Bermuda Triangle, in this country, it was the most dangerous gang mob spot.
She leaned back on the chair and used her hands to massage her temples.
From the videos, she could see that he had gone there willing, but she also knew that they had called him over because he would usually not leave matters that involved her.
Also, since he left, he hadn't sent a message…
The more she thought about it, the more it seemed like everything was going smoothly there.
She made up her mind, deciding that she was going to go there. It seemed too bold a step but she also knew that if she was the one in this situation, Qin Yichen would have done the same.
Or maybe even more.
She picked up her phone and contacted Wu Hao.
"Wu Hao, please tell Teacher Lu and the others that I'm feeling a little unwell and won't be able to join you guys tonight." She told him the moment the call connected.
"Is everything okay?" Wu Hao's worry was evident in his voice as it was two notes higher than usual.
"Hmmm, I already got drugs but I would have to get some sleep to feel better."
After talking for less than a minute, she hung up and let out a heavy sigh.
A situation like this also made her realize how unprepared she was for the battles she had to fight in this life. As she packed her computer and some other things into her bag, her mind worked at an insanely high speed on the things she needed to do.
Finally, after close to thirty minutes of thinking, Rong Yue stood up, wore an all-black outfit, and left the hotel's penthouse using the window.
Her disguise was not as flawless as it used to be as she didn't have many of her things here. But for someone that hadn't met the old her, it would be difficult to connect the two.
She had used makeup to tone down the usual freshness and purity that her still-young face had.
Now, she could pass off as someone that was done with school.
Instead of passing all the usual routes, she avoided all cameras and didn't pass the hotel entrance, instead, she used the hotel's side walls until she was downstairs.
Then using the fake identity she had just created for herself in the American database, she booked a car rental.
Using hired cabs online at this time was not yet in trend and she needed a car that she could drive back.
After waiting across the hotel for about ten minutes, the car company she had hired finally arrived with the car.
She did all the necessary steps and drove off right after.
On the surface, her expression was calm and didn't even look like there was a ripple on it.
But for her, in a situation like this, the calmer she was, the more the matter was weighing on her.
It also made her understand just how important that man had become to her in the last few months.
To think that she had decided to keep her heart empty in this life and she had only met this man for less than six months.
The drive from the hotel to The Viridian took Rong Yue about an hour long even with the high speed that she was driving at.
The Viridian was the end of the street with no other building after it, so she parked about a street away, getting down and using her leg to complete the remaining distance.
Since it was a high crime scene, many gangs also hung around there to get jobs and stay in the loop. As it was starting to get dark out, most of them stayed on the street and drank while some were spilling out of the nearby casinos.
Rong Yue walked briskly and then entered one of the normal diners there.
If she wanted to enter the Viridian normally, she needed to be invited by someone on the inside. Doing that would be messier so she decided on sneaking in by attacking their server.
If she bought herself a time lag of an hour, that would be enough to find Qin Yichen.
The only problem was, she couldn't sneak the computer inside, this made the mission more dangerous because if she used more than the one hour she had planned to, she was going to struggle with escaping the Viridian's doors.
She set the timer on the code, hid the mini-computer at the back of the dining and left.
Unlike the whole street that was filled with mobs, the closer she got to the Viridian, the calmer it got. Also, the fence and surroundings of The Viridian were fairly quiet and only the gate had guards standing in front of it.
Rong Yue sighed before walking through a more lonely route of the Viridian.
A part of her was hesitant because it would be too much of a gamble if Qin Yichen wasn't in any trouble. But the uneasy feeling she had all morning made her unable to stay still and wait.
But she didn't rush to go in either, the code she had written would be active in thirty minutes which would be exactly thirty minutes past 7 pm.
It would be dark out by then and she would be able to sneak in with the disabled security.
At this moment, she wished she had paid more attention to the robot that was now connected to her Brain waves, after all, an ace card like that would make a great difference in a situation like this.
But she had cared deeply about Little Loli back then and it made it hard for her to listen to the system talk with the little Loli's voice.
She took a deep breath, sighing as she checked the time one more time again.
"Qin Yichen, you had better stay safe!"
