President Qin's Little Wife Is The Strongest-Chapter 59
59 Diamond In The Rough
“Any time spent on getting past the first defense would not be accounted for unless your timer is on.” One of the supervisors added and many other cameras were turned on.
Rong Yue immediately stood up from the front of the screen and went to her closet immediately.
Since it would be suspicious if she was a guy on the document and then became a girl, she had to put on a guy costume.
While she was getting ready and perfecting her disguise, some of the competitors had already started trying to by pass the defense wall.
To not look weird, Rong Yue took about ten minutes perfecting her disguise while a lot of the coordinators were already curious about who this person was that was wasting so much time.
When she sat down back, one of the competitors from America was already a few steps from breaking through the defense while most of the others were somewhere in the middle.
“Contestant x3 starting now.” Rong Yue announced as she turned on her camera filling up the last black section that had been blank before now.
Upon hearing news that someone competing with them had just arrived, most of the competitors sniggered.
“At least, we know someone has the bottom position.” Someone muttered and was carried into the ears of everyone.
.....
The organizers said nothing as they were also displeased with Rong Yue’s tardy behavior.
Rong Yue on the other hand, acted like she heard nothing as her fingers danced across the keyboard at a frightening fast pace.
Her eyes were locked on the defense system and even though she had experienced that kind of firewall several times in her past life, she was still impressed, after all, this had only become a generalized firewall system about three years later from now.
It also ignited the sense of urgency in her.
If this people had this ten years ago, she wondered what the organization was doing at this point.
It made her understand that she didn’t have anytime to waste and she needed to start finding the clues to where they were now, who was heading it and what was going to be the end.
While her mind seemed to be in a myriad of thoughts, her eyes and fingers were still in perfect coordination and just as she was about to finish the final key, the guy from America announced that he had finally broken past the firewall.
His announcement made the coordinators stunned as their muffled and excited chatters were heard.
Firstly, it was a new technology and the test had started about twenty five minutes ago which meant that he had used only twenty five minutes to pass through the firewall!
“Passed.” Rong Yue announced perfunctorily as she pressed on the final key and then waited for the real test to start.
“Done?”
“How’s that possible?”
“Didn’t he just join?”
Confused mutters were heard and many other contestants were shocked.
After all, she had only joined five minutes ago. If she was already done, didn’t that make them stupid?
Although the coordinators found it hard to believe, with their scoreboard and security alert showing that she had passed the firewall, they couldn’t argue and just kept quiet.
Rong Yue on the other hand didn’t mind any of them and just went ahead to start the test.
The first level of the test was relatively easier than the initial firewall which meant that the firewall was a sieving criteria.
They only wanted the best of the best here.
On the other hand, the American guy, Alex, felt under a pressure upon knowing that Rong Yue had gotten the firewall in less than five minutes while he had gotten it in almost half an hour.
It was not an hidden fact that the time and speed at getting by were the most important things in hacking. He was also someone that was used to wining and being the best so it was a kind of blow that he hadn’t been expecting.
It was only when it was announced that Rong Yue had finished all the first level tasks that he felt a cold chill that made him wake up rush down his spine.
At this point, about three more of the competitors had already passed the first firewall and with Alex, there were now four in the first level while Rong Yue was the only one in the second level.
“Whew!” Rong Yue exhaled and then massaged her fingers gently as she took in the tasks for the next levels.
Since there were three levels in total, the second level was tougher and they were asking them to break into a recently created program that was modeled after the Qin corporation firewall system.
As soon as Rong Yue saw the name, her brows furrowed slightly as the image of that man, Qin Yichen appeared in her mind.
She had heard of the Qin corporation in her past life and they had been the king of the technology and finance industry.
She shook her head as she dispelled the possibility of them being related. There were after all so many people with that surname.
With that thought, she got to work.
While the firewall of the Qin corporation wasn’t anything special to her, in this time, it was still impressive.
And she was sure that in the years to come, it would grow to be something even more formidable.
M
Rong Yue got to work immediately. This time, to not appear suspicious and too heaven defying, she slowed her finger speed down and looked at the codes a bit more carefully. After all, she was sure that if she won, something as simple as going back to check the cameras that were allowing their faces to show
to them.
It would be even worse if this was something that the Qin corporation was backing meaning they could easily access people that were Chinese physically after this competition.
????????????????
By the time Rong Yue finished hacking into the Qin corporation firewall, all the organizers were stunned speechless and even called their higher ups to report. 𝗳re𝚎𝚠𝐞𝗯𝙣𝗼ν𝗲l. c૦𝓶
Gone was the dissatisfaction they had from Rong Yue coming late and all that was left was shock and awe.
“How is it possible that he broke the record in such a short time?”
While they were still murmuring on the record she had broken, Rong Yue had started the last and final task .
The third level had only one task,
‘Build a firewall that can defeat the Qin Corporation firewall.’
Rong Yue hid a sneer as she saw this last task. It was clearly a flip side question.
The organizers most definitely didn’t have the faith that there could be anyone good enough to create something like this.
However, if there was someone that could really make it, the intellectual rights might no longer belong to the person after the competition.
With a promise of $2 million for the winner, they could easily proclaim they had paid for the rights if there was someone that could claim something like that.
On the other hand, the winner might not be able to challenge them as some of the people that would be in the top ranks of the association Rong Yue was aiming for might be in on it.
Without letting anything show on her face, she started building carefully from the scratch.
Building something that could build the current Qin’s corporation technology was not something difficult for Rong Yue and she got to work immediately.
As the only one in the third level, everyone already saw as the final winner, while Alex, who had gotten the first shine was still battling with the Qin Corporation firewall in the second level.
Rong Yue took an hour in this stage as she had to take stops to drink water and massage her neck.
After all, she hadn’t even bothered to rest as soon as she got back from school.
The moment she submitted, she stood up from the computer and desk without even bothering to see their reactions.
When she had started the building of the program, she had deliberately used a very confusing combination of technology that she was sure no one could understand at first take.
Also, she had built it with a code that would disintegrate upon first attack at its system. With this, she wasn’t worried that they would try to steal her work or try to disqualify her either.
On the other hand, all the higher ups that had not expected that anyone could do the third level had immediately gathered their experts and try to see if it could withstand a longer time attack that was different from what the Qin Corporation firewall could.
At the same time, one of the higher ups made a call with an elated expression.
“Yichen, someone seems to have broken through your company’s firewall in less than half an hour. Also, we are currently checking to see if they have truly built a program that could defeat your own.” The man announced.
“Hmmmm, send me a detailed profile on him, I’ll run my checks before we take any action.” Qin Yichen said.
