98 Xu Ning!

Upon hearing that she was coming, Song Jian decided to wait for her.

“Young Miss, master said you should eat some more mood since you don’t like the one from the restaurant we just left,” Lu San said as he parked the car and Rong Yue’s brows curved upwards.

“And how does he know that I don’t like the food?” Rong Yue asked slyly. Although she knew that Lu San would definitely be reporting her matters to Qin Yichen, she wasn’t expecting something like him knowing what she ate.

“He asked what you had for lunch and I told him,” Lu San said with a shrug, in all honesty, he had no idea how his boss had also figured out that she didn’t like her food.

Rong Yue nodded and then leaned her head back on the chair, although she appeared calm on the surface, her mind was swirling with so many thoughts.

It was hard to understand why a man like that would want her and care about her. More importantly, he seemed to want to make her entire life easier with his every action.

It was hard for her heart to not be moved, after all, she had a clear mind and was able to separate what was good from what wasn’t worth it.

Her eyes remained closed up until the car stopped and she got down.

“Rong Yue,” Song Jian greeted warmly as he did his best to keep his excitement at bay.

As she talked, Song Jian recorded everything down and nodded.

“If that’s going to be our major launch focus, then I think we have gotten all we need already. Yan’ er, bring the list of finished products so we can show her,” he said to his younger sister who hurried out of the room.

He then went on to explain to her about the marketing quality and how he felt the production cost was a lot.

Song Yan entered the room back with a note pad in her hands. The three of them sat around the notepad and analyzed the products they had listed and created here.

They spent three hours talking on everything and by the time Rong Yue demanded that they had a break to have some food, they had already covered thirty main products. Since their goal was forty five with thirty for medicinal purposes and the remaining fifteen for beauty products, they were more than halfway done.

Lu San had also used the time when they were working to pick up the meal order that Qin Yichen had told the staff at Yue to make for Rong Yue.

As soon as he placed the box on the table and brought each dish, Rong Yue felt her the corner of her eyes tear up slightly as she looked at each dish.

Rong Yue felt all of her body trembling as she looked at that familiar face on the screen.

At first, she had loathed her, after all, she had managed the organization and even when she had superiors, Rong Yue always felt that it was impossible for her to be good.

However, anytime any of them were operated on or badly treated, Xu Ning would sneak in and help them with medicines and food and sometimes even comfort them.

It was on one of those fateful days when they had checked if Rong Yue’s body had the capacity to be a match for the robot that she had lashed out at Xu Ning who had tried to comfort her after.

Eventually, she had discovered that Xu Ning had been working with them when she discovered that they were doing illegal business.

When she had tried to leave, they had done exactly what they were doing now... following her chain of thoughts, Rong Yue’s eyes regained focus immediately as she shot up from her seat.

“Lu San, book the next flight to the capital for me, I’ll leave immediately,” she ordered as she rushed out of the laboratory leaving the remaining three people stunned.

Lu San’s reflexes were good and he chased after her immediately while the two siblings also got up in succession.

Since they were all used to the collected and calm Rong Yue, this Rong Yue that was completely emotional and human was new to them and made them all feel slightly shaken.

Lu San let out a sigh as he looked at Rong Yue’s outline in the car. Thankfully, she hadn’t run off out of her emotions because he was sure that a news like that would probably have Qin Yichen asking for his head!

“Go home, I need to pack a bag for my trip and tell mother that I have some urgent matters,” Rong Yue told him as soon as he entered the car.
