Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System-Chapter 1443: Meeting Queen Eirdis and Xandira
After freshening up, Kent moved to the Mountain Garden, where, surprisingly, for the first time ever, there was no one there.
Gaia and her band of troublemakers were away working on the portal, and while Vexthra and the team were also away from the tower, there was nobody left to enjoy the comfort of the Mountain Garden.
He stayed there for a few minutes before walking away. Soon, he arrived on the streets of Gaiaville, where everyone he met smiled and greeted him.
Although his wives had been managing the cities, everyone brought inside knew the reason they were now living in peace and luxury was because of Kent, so they were grateful to him.
Seeing them happy also makes him happy.
He made his way toward a building on the outskirts of Gaiaville. That was where Queen Eirdis and her daughter Xandira were staying.
When he drew near, he sensed Avotha and Vargus drinking tea in a house not far from where the mother and her daughter lived.
"You guys can leave. I will take it from here," Kent transmitted to them. They nodded and left, returning to the 9th floor of the dungeon, where they informed Vexthra and the others.
Kent, on the other hand, made his way toward the building. Just as he was drawing near the house, he saw a dragon lady playing with a baby in a small garden infront of the house.
He came to a sudden stop, his gaze narrowing a bit. Even without being told, the moment he laid eyes on Queen Eirdis and her daughter, he knew they were related to him by blood.
And judging by how the lady also turned and looked at him, he knew she also felt what he felt. Their bloodlines seem to resonate with each other.
This, in a strange way, put a smile on his face. He had no idea why, but he was happy to sense someone resonate with his blood.
He resumed his steps and, a few moments later, arrived in the garden, staring at the mother and her daughter.
Xandira, who was not even a year old, opened her eyes and turned to face Kent, which instantly melted his heart.
"What an adorable little lady," Kent crouched down and opened his palm. Queen Eirdis tried to distance herself, but before she could, Xandira reached for Kent’s arm.
This caused her to panic, but seeing how eager her daughter was to take his arm and the fact that Kent was far weaker than her put her mind at ease. She also sensed the terrifying people keeping an eye on her had left just when Kent arrived.
This means the person she had been waiting for is Kent.
In the end, she handed Xandira to Kent, who smiled, scooped her up, and started swaying her from side to side. Under her stunned gaze, Xandira started laughing, something she had never done since she was born.
Although she was a bit young to know when to be happy and when to be sad, and because she was also born in a horrifying place, they had some quiet nights in the past where, as a mother, she tried several times to make her happy.
However, she never even smiled, not even once.
So, going as far as laughing and making a giggling sound in another man’s arms sure came as a shock to her.
"Adorable." Kent laughed and said, "I never knew I was a baby person until I met her."
Queen Eirdis forced a smile, then she asked, "Please, who are you?"
Although she could sense the connection between them, she had always felt some connection to people who shared her bloodline, so sensing it with Kent didn’t put her mind at ease.
If anything, she wanted to know if Kent wasn’t one of the people after her life. Of course, that was her last theory after spending about three weeks inside this place.
"Oh, pardon my rudeness. My name is Kent Madson, but a very long time ago, I was called the Primordial Chaos Dragon."
"What?" Queen Eirdis widened her eyes, while Xandira laughed happily, getting spun around.
"A-Are you saying..."
"Yes. I gave my blood to Elikai, who, since you and this little lady are now here, meant he had succeeded in absorbing and making it his own. I am proud of him."
Queen Eirdis swallowed her saliva, a bit in shock. She never in her wildest dreams expected to meet her ancestor. Her family only talked about the legendary feats of the Chaos dragon, passed down from one generation to another.
So, actually meeting Chaos wasn’t something he expected.
But now that she did, and when the realization kicked in, she dropped to her knees, or at least she tried to.
"No need for that." Kent stopped her from kneeling. "The fact that you are here shows we share a destiny. So don’t kneel to me. You and Xandira are here now, which means it is meant to be so. Be happy, because from now onward, you will be living with my entire family and me."
"As for you, little lady, when you come of age and can use your bloodline, I will teach you so many amazing things that only the Chaos dragon can do."
Xandira giggled as if to say Sure.
Queen Eirdis looked at her daughter and Kent for a while before a smile appeared on her face. "Thank you for giving us a home. I will do my best to repay you in any way I can."
"Just raise Xandira well, and that will cover everything. I can sense she has a much higher concentration of my blood in her veins, so she will one day become a legendary dragon."
Queen Eirdis nodded. It was the reason why she had to flee with her egg long before it hatched.
It can take thousands of years for a dragon egg to hatch.
So when it was discovered that her unborn child had a supreme-grade Chaos bloodline, she knew she had to run.
Every last minute while on the run was spent making sure her daughter was safe and sound. So now that they had found a peaceful home, she would pour all the love she had into her.
Kent spent the entire day with Xandira and her mother. The majority of it was spent playing with the adorable baby dragon. She was just too cute for Kent to bring himself to leave.
He also used some of it to tell Queen Eirdis about her ancestor, the one whose lineage she came from.
Although Kent would never reveal it to anyone, the reason he gave Elikai his blood essence was because of Elina.
She had always wanted to become a dragon. However, Chaos opposes her desire, thinking that it would be too dangerous to give her his blood essence.
However, he lost her at the hands of the forsaken race. From time to time, he would wonder whether the story would have been different if he had gone ahead and given his blood essence to her, as she wanted.
Although she was a decent warrior, being a dragon back then was a privilege many would have loved to have.
Dragons or Beastkins had more power than normal humans. So if she had been a dragon back then, maybe she could have survived the Forsaken Race attack.
That was the main reason he gave Elikai his blood. In a way, he wanted to see if he had been too overprotective that instead of doing the needful, he held back, and that cost him everything.
Meeting Queen Eirdis and Xandira, he knew he had indeed made a mistake by not giving Elina his blood essence.
But while that stung, the mere fact that Elikai survived and built a legacy also made him happy. After all, if Elikai had survived the Primordial Era, then it meant he had gotten his revenge and even had time to build a family.
