Two men quickly entered, one for each child, and pulled the two brats apart.

"Tie them up! Tie them up, damn it!" Silvia Baxter's face had been bitten several times by Ivan Horne, leaving distinct teeth marks on what she considered her handsome face. Her nose and eyes had also taken several punches from Ivan, causing pain. Her hair was a mess, and she suspected that if no one had come to help, Ivan would have torn her scalp off.

So young, yet so ruthless against an enemy! One could only imagine what they would be like when they grew up.

"You only know how to bully kids! If you've got the guts, take us on two-on-two!" Billy Horne yelled.

Silvia Baxter immediately shot him a malevolent glare.

Sect Leader!

Her first thought was that she was seeing the Sect Leader.

Oh, no, it was a miniature version of the Sect Leader.

The Sect Leader had been searching for a woman for some time now; it was no longer a secret. She had learned from Deon Myers that this woman was someone the Sect Leader had slept with when he first arrived in T City years ago. His ongoing search probably meant he still had lingering feelings for her.

And the woman the Sect Leader had slept with was a young miss of the Horne Family?

"Brat, who's your father?" Silvia Baxter concealed her malevolence. To avoid inadvertently harming the Sect Leader's offspring, she needed to clarify things first.

"What's it to you who my daddy is? It's definitely not you!" Billy Horne responded arrogantly.

"Miss, Adele Horne got pregnant before marriage, and nobody knows who the child's father is. This brat here is just a bastard!" Silvia Baxter was a member of the Blazing Flame Sect, but the men she had hired were not. They didn't know who Noah Reyes was, nor had they ever seen him.

"Tsk, what a freakish bad guy!" Hearing the two men in black call Silvia Baxter 'Miss,' Billy Horne immediately turned his head away, scoffing.

The man who had brought the two little terrors back found some rope, planning to tie them up.

Ivan Horne and Jimmy Horne exchanged an imperceptible glance, then simultaneously tilted their heads and viciously bit the hands of the men holding them.

"AAH!" The two men cried out in pain, their hands recoiling.

"Run!" Ivan Horne shouted.

The two of them immediately bolted for the door.

Silvia Baxter and the man with the rope immediately reached for them. However, the boys grabbed their outstretched arms, using them like poles. Their small bodies slid to the ground, slipping past Silvia Baxter's arms and out of the room.

"Get up! Charge!"

Even while on the move, Ivan Horne calmly instructed Jimmy Horne on their next action.

No wonder he was the Young Master's son—his composure was innate.

The two small figures quickly scrambled to their feet and charged into an open room across the hall. Silvia Baxter and her men reacted swiftly. By the time Ivan Horne was trying to close the door, they had already reached it, their hands thrusting in to prevent it from shutting.

BANG! 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Jimmy, in an instant, had dragged over a chair. With all his might, he slammed it against the hands reaching in.

"Damn it!" Curses erupted as the hands recoiled. Ivan then kicked the chair out of the room, and the door slammed shut securely.

After locking the door from the inside, the two little rascals slid down, their backs against it, and sat on the floor.

Good thing they'd watched some action movies. Good thing that even though they were only four years old, they'd grown quite strong. And good thing that, despite being only four, they had high IQs; their education was already at a third-grade level, and they could think independently.

"Open the door! You can't escape! Open up now, or we'll find the keys and open it ourselves! Watch your hides then!"

The adults felt utterly humiliated at being unable to handle two small children. They were just ordinary thugs with no special training, which explained how two little kids could outwit them.

"Brother, look," Jimmy suddenly said, noticing Miss Li's daughter tied up on the bed. He ignored the threats from outside.

They had actually hidden in the room where Miss Li's daughter was bound.

Ivan stood up, and Jimmy followed. They jogged to the bed and climbed on. Ivan tore the tape from the girl's mouth and asked curiously, "Miss, were you also caught by those bad guys outside? Did they capture us to eat us?" Moments ago, he had seemed as sharp as a tack, but now his childlike innocence resurfaced.

"Little ones, were you tied up too?" Miss Li's daughter asked. She had heard the earlier commotion. Though she couldn't see, she felt utterly useless, watching two boys so much younger than herself manage to escape the bad guys and hide in here.

"A towel was put over our faces, and we passed out. Maybe the towel had a monster on it! We can't turn into Ultraman to fight monsters, so we just fainted," Jimmy answered in his high, childish voice.

"That's because the bad guys put a sleeping drug on the towel. Little ones, quickly, help me untie these ropes," Miss Li's daughter urged, gesturing for the two boys to help her.

"Okay, Miss! We're here to save you!" Jimmy declared, striking a comically heroic pose as if saving a damsel in distress.

Meanwhile, outside, the men were frantically searching for keys to the room. However, the apartment was a temporary rental, and the landlord had only given them keys to the main entrance. After all, it was a short-term rental; when Silvia Baxter had rented it, she had said it would be for no more than two days. She knew Glades Horne was formidable; staying in one place for long meant they would be found quickly. That was why Silvia Baxter kept renting different places, constantly changing locations.

Without the keys, they began looking everywhere for tools to pry open the door.

Inside the room, the two little boys were struggling to untie Miss Li's daughter's ropes.

Silvia Baxter was still reeling from the shock of Jimmy's resemblance to the Sect Leader. While instructing her men to pry open the door, she called Deon Myers to report the situation.

「Deon Myers had just returned to Nameless Manor.」

Glades Horne and Benjamin Robinson were pursuing them with several police cars in tow.

When Silvia Baxter called, Deon Myers glanced at the caller ID, answered, and growled, "What is it? Tell me later, I'm busy right now!" Useless woman! Every time I give her a task, she has to call multiple times for clarification!

"Mrs. Horne, our Sect Leader wishes to see you." Deon Myers ordered the Nameless Manor gates to be firmly locked, thereby hindering the pursuing Glades Horne and the police officers. With Julia Bluen as our hostage, even if Glades Horne is furious and storms the gates, he won't dare to force his way in rashly.

Julia Bluen emerged from Deon Myers' car with composure and asked coldly, "Your Sect Leader? Is his name Noah Reyes?"

"Mrs. Horne, you'll find out once you're inside," Deon Myers said, glancing at her before walking towards the house. Julia, escorted by two men, followed him.

The wail of sirens grew incessant as they closed in on the Manor gates.

Deon Myers maintained an impassive facade, but inwardly he was cursing his luck.

He had repeatedly warned the Sect Leader that Julia Bluen was absolutely off-limits. Messing with her would undoubtedly drive Glades Horne to retaliate fiercely. Glades Horne was a major power in this city, with connections in both legitimate circles and the underworld. Local gang leaders treated him like a brother, and influential figures were his staunch allies. And now, look, even the police had shown up!
