Queen Mommy's Six Genius Babies Found the CEO Daddy-Chapter 95: Heard It With My Own Ears
"Idiot," Sophia muttered under her breath as she drove up to the prestigious private preschool. Her kids had just finished school.
"Angela, I’m over here..."
Before she could even finish her sentence, suddenly!
A young woman, dressed in expensive clothing, reached out her hand in front of the kids, saying something Sophia couldn’t catch.
Furrowing her brow, Sophia watched as the woman reached out to pick up Faye.
"Don’t touch me!"
"Don’t touch Faye!"
Riley Nelson, just about to pick up the child, was suddenly stopped by the other five kids!
"I know your father. He sent me here."
Angela pulled Faye behind her. "My daddy sent you? Fine, then answer me this—what’s my mommy’s name? Where do we live? What are my parents’ birthdays? What’s their phone number? Can you answer any of these?"
Riley hesitated. She hadn’t expected the kids to be so sharp.
Angela’s expression was firm. "You bad woman, don’t just go around pretending to know people. It’s too bad for you—our mommy is here now!"
Riley turned around and saw a woman standing in front of her.
Her eyes flickered for a second, then narrowed with hostility. "You’re Sophia?"
"Didn’t you say you were sent by Lucas? You don’t even recognize me, but you want to take my kids?"
"Mommy!"
All the kids rushed up to her.
Sophia ruffled their hair, then turned her gaze to the woman in front of her.
She hadn’t seen her before, but the woman did seem to have some charm.
"Miss Morgan, it’s truly an honor to meet you," Riley said, her lips curling slightly. "I’m Lucas’s fiancée, Riley Nelson."
Sophia froze for a moment.
Riley smiled faintly. "I just returned to the country today, and I came back with Lucas."
Sophia studied her quietly, her face giving nothing away.
"Don’t you want to ask why?" Riley was impressed that Sophia wasn’t reacting, not even in the slightest. It was clear she had already lost the moment she asked that question.
Sophia let out a quiet laugh. "I don’t even know your name. You think I should just believe whatever you say? Ridiculous.
Miss, even if you are one of Lucas’s admirers, I need you to remember something clearly:
They are my heart and soul. My precious ones."
She lowered her head, gently pinching the kids’ faces. "If I ever find out something like today happens again, and you don’t want your hands anymore, I can help you with that."
Sophia glanced at her coldly before turning around and pulling the six kids away.
Riley’s face tightened slightly. This woman was much harder to deal with than she had imagined.
Without wasting any more time, Riley turned and got into a Lincoln.
Sophia left first but soon parked on the side of the road.
Faye swung her little feet. "Mommy, are you thinking about that lady?"
Lucas came back this morning, but was he with another woman?
He had said he’d be gone for a while, but he came back after just four days.
Sophia tilted her head, staring ahead, lost in thought.
"Mommy, if you’re confused, why don’t you just ask daddy at the company?"
"What does it matter who he’s with?"
Sophia snorted, starting the car and driving off.
Soon, she arrived at the Hilton Group building and immediately spotted the Lincoln from earlier.
Sophia frowned. It was really that woman again.
Sophia said she didn’t care, but she still drove to the Hilton Group involuntarily.
Sophia and the kids went inside, heading straight for the office.
Lucas was sitting at his desk, reading a file, while Riley chattered away beside him.
"Lucas, I should be your fiancée, and... and in Country D, we met too. Isn’t it fate?"
"Lucas, say something!"
Lucas glanced at her coldly. "Riley, I’ve told you, it’s all a misunderstanding. Nothing happened."
"I don’t care. You have to take responsibility for me!"
Sophia’s hand froze just as she was about to open the door. She slowly released her grip, almost convinced her ears were playing tricks on her.
"Riley!"
The cold fury in Lucas’s eyes flared up immediately. "I told you, this is Hilton Group, the company! If you keep causing trouble, I’ll have security escort you out right now!"
"Lucas! I’m the heiress of Nelson Group! If you don’t give me an explanation, do you know what will happen to you?"
"I hate being threatened!"
Lucas stood up abruptly, startling Riley.
He pressed the intercom button. "Security, come up."
Riley’s eyes widened. "You wouldn’t dare!"
Security arrived quickly. Upon seeing Sophia at the door, one of them called out to her. "Miss Morgan, why aren’t you going in?"
Inside the office, Lucas paused for a moment. He quickly walked over, opened the door, and only saw Sophia and the kids’ backs as they turned to leave.
"Sophia!"
Lucas turned back, his eyes bloodshot, glaring at Riley.
She instinctively took a step back, visibly startled.
Lucas moved quickly toward her, raising his hand.
The sharp sound of a slap echoed, and even the two security guards jumped.
Riley froze, holding her face, unable to comprehend what just happened.
"I’ve never hit a woman before. Riley, you’re the first."
Lucas grabbed her by the arm. "I don’t want to see her again. If anyone else gets let in without my permission, you all can leave!"
The security guards didn’t dare say a word, quickly dragging Riley away.
Riley was still in shock.
"Mr. Hilton! What happened? I saw the madam leave in anger!"
Alex walked in just then, seeing Lucas with his hands on his hips.
"Mr. Hilton?"
Suddenly!
Lucas threw the cup on the nearby table, smashing it with a loud crack.
Alex froze.
Lucas, who always took great care of his image, now had his hair messed up and was clearly fuming.
He grabbed his jacket and stormed out.
"Mr. Hilton, where are you going?"
Lucas didn’t say a word as he left.
He quickly headed home.
Sophia was calmly packing all her things.
"Madam, what’s wrong? Are you heading back to Silver Lake Villa?"
Mrs. Wilson, looking worried, noticed the kids had already packed up as well.
"Mrs. Wilson, you’re a great person, and I’m really glad to have met you, but I don’t think I’ll have a chance to eat your cooking again. I... I think I need to go back."
Sophia picked up her suitcase and headed downstairs.
"Sophia, Sophia!"
She collided with Lucas as he came in.
He grabbed her suitcase. "Sophia, you need to listen to me!"
Sophia, her face cold, refused to look at him and stubbornly tried to leave.
"Sophia, it’s not what you think. You misunderstood!"
"Let go."
She trusted her ears, but more than that, she trusted her eyes.
"Sophia! Let me explain!"
"Let go!"
The two of them struggled, neither willing to back down.
Lucas had never cared this much about anyone before. The woman in front of him, however, was refusing to give him any leeway!
He couldn’t help but shout, "Sophia! Stop being childish, will you?"
Sophia’s hands froze mid-struggle as she locked eyes with him...
