Raising A Few Wives in a Beast Apocalypse-Chapter 483: Ten versus One (final)

If it wasn't Muku's body, it would have been a spear instead of a punch. And Nightmare would have been killed on the spot... probably.

The combo didn't stop there. Hope also made her move. She summoned all the grey poison she could and formed a huge serpent with it then...

WHOOSH!

It charged forward without waiting for Nightmare to get up and smashed hard into it.

Since she didn't have Emily's unique control, she didn't dare cover Muku with the poison, instead she made ut avoid him completely at focus solely on the armour. Something that was hard but doable.

And it managed to deal further damage to the already ruined armour.

Audrey made her move after. She summoned a humongous blood fist in the sky. Then...

WOOOO!

BANG!

It smashed directly on top of Nightmare who was struggling to get up. Then it disappeared into nothingness.

The last one who regained her power was Jade. Her method of attack was way more straightforward.

She charged forward and began throwing a barrage of punches on Nightmare's(Muku's) already battered and bruised face while huge Beast Aura arms locked it in place.

This went on until it fell unconscious from the head trauma.

The face was so swollen it looked like a pig's head.

The others couldn't help but look at Muku's destroyed face with sympathy in their eyes. Then they glared at Jade.

"What? I took care of the enemy. Isn't that what we set out to do? So why are you looking at me like that? Besides wouldn't we all look like this had Hope not healed us?" Jade defended herself.

She even felt betrayed. After all, she didn't say anything when the others were throwing killing blows but they dared to judge her? Where was the world's equality?

"Oh no, it's not that we..." Audrey who also couldn't stop herself from glaring at Jade was about to say something when something interrupted her.

Jade immediately jumped back and looked at Muku's unconscious body with the utmost seriousness along with everyone else.

They could feel an unprecedented danger coming from it... Then....

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A thick black smoke exploded out and covered all of them even faster than Raya could react. Something that shouldn't have been possible.

But they were dealing with a Monarch after all. So maybe over-generalizing by thinking that it would be limited by common sense was a mistake.

Anyway, the smoke didn't last long. It almost disappeared as quickly as it appeared.

But that didn't mean that it had done nothing.

When Raya looked at the girls. All of them were frozen in place with their eyes wide open.

At first, she couldn't tell what was wrong with them. That was until she looked into their eyes.

All of them including Lisa who had caught a stray from the sidelines had their eyes wide open. And nothing but pitch-black darkness could be seen in their eyes as they stood there unmoving.

It was the same with all the spectators who had somehow been affected despite the space barrier put in place.

Raya was instantly worried. This wasn't supposed to happen.

And so, she had no choice but to come out from the pocket space she was hiding in.

She appeared just as the almost completely decimated Nightmare struggled to its feet.

"Hahahaha. Fools! You thought you actually stood a chance against me? A legendary Monarch? Hahaha. You're not even worthy to kiss my feet!" Nightmare spoke and laughed like a maniac at the same time.

"Big talk for someone who just got beat up... But to think you were actually a Monarch all this time. How surprising. Then again, when have we ever had a significant problem that wasn't linked to you idiots? Its almost like you have nothing better to do than bother us" Raya's calm voice was heard from behind the Monarch.

A chill instantly went down Nightmare's spine as he hadn't felt her presence until she spoke. Hell even as she spoke, it still couldn't sense her...

"So its you! The space rat who has been getting in my way all this time. Are you here to accept your fate and join your comrades?" Nightmare spoke arrogantly after remembering that the space brat was actually "weak with no offensive capabilities"

"Yes, sure. First, tell me what you have done to them? Is this the legendary [Nightmare] spell?" Raya asked.

"Tsk tsk. I guess you're a knowledgeable brat after all. But no. This isn't that. It's better. This one not only makes one love through their worst nightmares over and over again. But even if they conquer them, they won't get out unless I allow it. Which I won't. Instead, I'll take my time cutting them all up, until they are mincemeat. The best part is that they'll feel the pain but won't be able to free themselves until they die. How I can't wait to experience their dispair" Like the generic, overconfident and outdated villain it was.

Nightmare became very chatty as soon as it got an advantage and someone asked a question.

Raya couldn't help but roll her eyes as well as look down on Muku for letting such an idiot take over his body even if he was completely detached from it at the moment.

"Oh? So the only way to get them out is to take you out huh?" Raya asked for confirmation.

"As if you can take me out... Now die!" Nightmare replied for the last time then attacked.

Even if it was overconfident. It wouldn't chat the whole day. That would be too dumb even for it.

And so, the same black smoke rose again. This time it was all aimed at Raya who was now facing Nightmare.

However, it all stopped in front of her like there was an invisible barrier in the way. Of course, it was a result of her space manipulation.

"I got carelessness before and your spell worked because Chloe's troublesome characteristic poked holes into the domain. But that's no longer a problem. So don't expect it to work on me. Now I'll ask you nicely... stop the spell before I destroy you" Raya spoke calmly.

"N..." Nightmare was about to refuse arrogantly.

Which was to be expected with their size difference. After all, she was so tiny compared to its seven metres that taking her seriously was impossible.

As for why it couldn't sense her rank? That was just a space element party trick...

Well, that's what it thought anyway. But in fact, it was simply a higher rank being denying a lower-ranked one access to their rank information.

She wasnt even suppressing her strength beyond the norm. But that was enough to completely block Nightmare from seeing through her.

And she didn't stop there. She continued beating it up for the next ten minutes until it couldn't even get up after all most of the body's bones were broken.

If it were a normal human body, it would have died a long time ago.

"What about now?" Raya finally spoke again.

"Hehe. You think this will scare me? I know you don't dare kill this body... And there's nothing else you can do to me" Nightmare spoke arrogantly despite being barely able to move its mouth.

"Sigh... I really wanted to give you the easy way out. But I guess you wanted hell instead..." Raya spoke caring again then instead of continuing the beating. She actually closed her eyes.

Something that surprised Nightmare greatly. But it wasn't complaining. It actually welcomed it.

The more she acted weird and delayed things, the more it recovered. This way, escape wasn't completely out of the picture.

But that celebration didn't last long. This was because it felt something immediately rise in its body soon after Raya closed her eyes.

And that something scared the hell out of it. For it was Muku's consciousness.

Something that shouldn't have happened with how it had blocked him off completely from the outside world. So to him, nothing was happening with his body at all.

That was until then when he violently broke through the blockage.

{I hope you don't regret your decision} Raya's voice was heard in Nightmare's mind which shocked it greatly.

How was that possible? Did she have psychic powers or something?

But before it could think of anything else, a manly voice was heard.

{Hello friend. Maybe I ask what you're doing in my body?} The voice was very calm. So calm that it was scary. So calm it felt like it was hiding a storm beneath it. And that really might be the case.

For it was the voice of the body's owner. Someone who wouldn't appreciate not only having their body stolen but also being used to beat up their women.

{I ah...} Nightmare didn't know what to say as it was overwhelmed with fear.

And this wasn't without reason. It was because its current soul was severely weakened and could possibly be destroyed by Muku should they clash as he had the homeground.

Everyone knew that Monarch souls were indestructible for the most part right? Except for a few extreme methods that could get rid of them.

But that didn't mean that they couldn't be consumed...
