Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 582: Why Did You Bite Me?
Following Michael Linton’s gaze, Easton Holmes turned his head and spotted Lily Turner standing on the second-floor terrace. Seeing that she was only wearing a very thin jacket, his brows furrowed immediately.
"Uncle! I’m heading inside first."
After saying this, he turned and went inside without waiting for a response.
Watching his hurried figure walk into the house, Michael Linton’s lips curved into a pleased smile. He raised his hand to wave at Lily Turner, who was on the terrace, and made his way to the house door as well.
Once inside, Easton Holmes headed straight to the room on the second floor. When he entered the room, Lily Turner had already returned from the terrace. Seeing him approaching with a frown, she quickly asked, "What’s wrong? Did something happen?"
As she asked, she walked towards him.
"Can’t you wear a thicker coat when you go out? Don’t you know how cold it is at night? What if you catch a cold?" Easton reached over and took hold of Lily Turner’s hand as he approached. Fortunately, her hand wasn’t as cold as he had imagined.
When she saw him walk in with a frown, she had thought something was amiss. It wasn’t until he started to scold her that she realized why he was frowning.
A warm feeling swept through Lily Turner’s heart. She lifted her free hand and gently rubbed Easton’s furrowed brow, "Don’t keep frowning like that; it’s unattractive. I’ll end up disliking you."
Even though her words were dismissive, there wasn’t a hint of disdain on her face; her eyes were full of amusement.
"It’s too late for that now."
Easton was not blind. He could clearly see the amusement in Lily’s eyes. He opened his arms and pulled her into his embrace, letting her continue to play with his brow.
With mock annoyance, Lily turned serious and pretended to punch his chest with her hand, "Do you think I can’t run away now that I’m carrying your child? I’m telling you, if one day you really upset me, I’ll... hmm..."
Easton suddenly bent down and kissed Lily, silencing her remaining words.
What was going on? Couldn’t she finish her sentence?
Lily stared in surprise at Easton, who had abruptly kissed her, unsure of how to react for a moment.
"Ow!"
While she was confused and puzzled, he suddenly bit her lip, causing her to yelp, "Why did you bite me?"
This guy never played by the rules. She didn’t know how to handle it anymore.
"Who told you to speak so recklessly?"
Although Easton stopped kissing her, his lips were still pressed against hers. As he spoke, she could distinctly feel his mouth moving.
Lily tilted her head back to dodge Easton’s lips, which were pressed tightly against hers. She glared at him in displeasure, "How was I speaking recklessly? I was just trying to joke with you."
After hearing his words, she realized she had gotten into trouble once again for speaking carelessly.
But wasn’t she innocent this time? She merely wanted to joke with him. Could she find someone to justify this?
"Don’t say things like that anymore. Not even as a joke." Although Lily hadn’t finished her sentence earlier, Easton knew exactly what she intended to say. He genuinely didn’t want to hear words like "run away" coming from her mouth.
