Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 616: Causing an Earth-shattering Disturbance 11
"They’ve been divorced for a long time!"
Amelia thought Callix would disagree with her divorce from Fabian, but Callix’s unwavering response left her astonished.
Staring at his elderly father for quite a while, Michael finally spoke, "Do you really agree with them getting a divorce?"
He wasn’t questioning his father’s words, but he found the situation incredible.
After all, his father was more than eighty years old. In his understanding, someone of such age would find it hard to accept a divorce, yet today, his father altered this perception.
"Why wouldn’t I agree?" Callix paused, raising an eyebrow, "Don’t tell me this is what you want?"
The moment Callix finished speaking, Michael raised his thumb towards him. Seeing this, he immediately knew he guessed right.
"Dad! You’re truly impressive. Now I understand the real meaning behind ’old ginger is spicier’." Michael, apart from sincere admiration, was simply surprised, "Dad! How did you figure it out?"
He didn’t dare to tell his father that Fabian also agreed to the divorce. Now, it all depended on his elder sister’s decision.
Callix looked at Michael without much patience, raising his hand to swat away the thumb in front of him, "Stop flattering me. If you have time for that, you should spend more on convincing your disappointing sister. Either she should live properly, or divorce and live her own life. That way, everyone would be relieved."
Callix’s opinion surprisingly aligned with Michael’s, which left Michael both shocked and relieved.
On the way back, he was pondering how to discuss this matter with his father, never expecting his father to be so open-minded.
Without him saying much, his father entirely understood his intention and even completely agreed with his thoughts.
"Got it, I’ll go talk to my sister tomorrow." With his father’s support, Michael felt the chances of succeeding in this were higher. Now, his only concern was his sister, hoping she would come to understand. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Rather than being bound together and tormenting each other, it’s better to let go and lead separate lives.
Callix nodded, "When you talk to her, just say that it’s my idea for them to divorce."
His daughter currently couldn’t differentiate between right and wrong people. If a misunderstanding arises between the siblings because of this matter, it would be a loss.
"Even if you don’t instruct me, I would still bring you into the conversation." Michael didn’t realize Callix’s true intention. Hearing his father say that, he thought the old man was worried that his words wouldn’t carry much weight and wouldn’t persuade his sister.
Suddenly remembering something, he quickly asked, "Should we inform Easton about this?"
Though a divorce is a matter between a couple, they are not only children but also parents.
Their matters definitely do not concern only themselves but impact everyone in the family.
"For now, don’t let Easton know about this. Let’s see how things go first." Callix couldn’t determine the outcome yet and wanted to resolve things before informing Easton. He didn’t want his grandson to be troubled by these issues.
"Alright!"
Michael understood the concerns in Callix’s heart and didn’t say much more. He simply nodded and gave a straightforward response.
