Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 634: Let’s Not Cry Anymore, Shall We?
Over the years, Lily Turner had numerous arguments with Sophia Wood, especially recently. She had told Sophia several times that she wanted to cut ties, and even doubted whether Sophia was her biological mother.
Now thinking back on what she did, she feels she hurt her mother’s heart deeply. Regardless of the reasons back then, she feels her actions were too cruel to her mother.
Lily’s remorse was written on her face, which was hard for Sophia not to notice. As a mother, she could feel her daughter’s current emotions. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
"It’s me who should apologize to you. I’ve been wrong all these years. I shouldn’t have treated you like that," Sophia said, her tears, which had just stopped, started to flow again, streaming down her cheeks.
Seeing her mother suddenly cry, Lily couldn’t hold back anymore either, her tears started to fall instantly, "Mom..."
After calling out to her mom, she couldn’t say another word.
"My child!"
Sophia opened her arms and pulled Lily into her embrace, without any hesitation this time, holding her with determination and tightly.
Lily reached out to embrace Sophia, nestling in her arms and crying her heart out.
Easton Holmes stood not far away, seeing the mother and daughter hugging each other, the heart he had been holding up slowly settled down.
He realized Sophia was very different tonight, but he couldn’t figure out exactly how.
"Let’s go sit over there. I promise you, nothing like last time will ever happen again." When Easton followed Lily over, Christopher Turner didn’t stay in the living room either, he got up and followed to see what was going on.
He was also worried that tonight would turn out unpleasant like last time, something he definitely didn’t want to experience again.
To his surprise, the situation was completely different. Instead of anything bad happening, the mother and daughter apologized to each other and ended up crying and hugging. His tense nerves relaxed instantly.
Easton had realized that Christopher had followed him because of his concern for Lily. He neither turned back to speak to Christopher nor looked back at him.
All of his attention was focused on the mother and daughter in the bathroom. Even when seeing this situation, his attention did not dare to easily shift.
"I’ll wait here for Lily. You go back and sit. I’ll join you with Lily later." The incident last time left a deep impression, and he dared not be careless. Moreover, he wasn’t confident that Sophia was sincerely regretful yet.
Seeing Easton’s gaze fixed on Lily without even glancing at him, Christopher knew Easton was worried about Lily.
He didn’t urge Easton to leave nor did he leave as Easton suggested. He stood there quietly, waiting with Easton for Sophia and Lily.
The two women hugging and crying were completely unaware of the two men standing not far away, immersed in their own emotions.
Sophia and Lily cried in each other’s arms for a long time without showing any sign of stopping, making Easton a bit uneasy. Without thinking much, he strode over to them.
"Lily! Let’s stop crying, okay?"
Standing in front of the mother and daughter, Easton immediately began to persuade them. As he spoke, he reached out to pull Lily, who was crying her heart out, out of Sophia’s embrace and at the same time, he wrapped her in his own arms.
