Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 668: Where Did You Take That Woman?
After walking for a while, Lily Turner and Sophia Wood encountered Easton Holmes, who had come to find them. At this moment, he was alone, and there was no sign of Evelyn Taylor, whom he had just taken away.
"She left?"
Lily Turner turned her head to glance around but didn’t see Evelyn’s figure. She asked instinctively.
She wasn’t concerned about the woman’s presence; she was simply curious about why that woman left so obediently.
Easton Holmes just nodded, not verbally responding to Lily Turner’s question. Seeing his demeanor, she knew something must have happened earlier.
With her understanding of that woman, she wouldn’t leave so compliantly and voluntarily.
Though there were still doubts in her heart, considering Sophia Wood was beside her, Lily Turner refrained from asking Easton Holmes anything further and instead walked with Sophia Wood towards the cemetery gate.
Seeing this, Easton Holmes breathed a sigh of relief, stepped forward immediately, and left the cemetery with the two women.
When they reached the parking lot, he subconsciously glanced at the car not far away. After noticing nothing strange, he was completely at ease.
Like Easton Holmes, Sophia Wood had been worried along the way, concerned they might encounter the Taylor Family members.
Fortunately, by the time she got into the car, she hadn’t seen those people, and the anxiety that had accompanied her dissipated.
"Mom! Be careful on the road!"
"You too, take care on the road!"
After Easton Holmes and Lily Turner saw Sophia Wood off, they only then got into their own car.
"Where did you take that woman?"
Just after getting into the car and not yet fully seated, Lily Turner turned her head to ask.
Easton Holmes didn’t immediately clarify for her. Instead, he started the car, and after driving out of the parking lot, he satisfied her curiosity, "I handed her over to her family."
He didn’t turn his head at all, keeping an appearance of concentrating on driving.
"You handed her over to her family? Her family was here too? How come I didn’t see them?" Lily Turner instinctively turned her head to look behind the car, and in the distance, she saw Aiden Taylor getting out of a car, followed closely by his wife and the siblings Ryan and Evelyn Taylor.
She withdrew her gaze from afar and then turned to the man driving, "Were they here all along?"
If her guess was correct, after he left with Evelyn, he had gone to intercept those Taylor family members; otherwise, he wouldn’t have taken so long to return.
"Not that early either."
The moment Evelyn appeared earlier, Easton Holmes sensed something was amiss and figured that the other Taylor family members had also arrived.
Without thinking too much, he dragged Evelyn towards the cemetery gate. As they reached it, they indeed encountered the other three Taylor family members walking in.
When Aiden Taylor saw Easton Holmes dragging Evelyn out, he immediately understood that Lily Turner had come to pay respects to his brother, Daxton Taylor.
Without saying much, Aiden Taylor stepped forward, pulling Evelyn from Easton Holmes’s hand. Then, without explaining to Harriet White and Ryan Taylor, he called them to follow along.
Under Aiden Taylor’s stern orders, the family of four returned to their car, leaving the other two puzzled by what had happened.
It wasn’t until she saw Sophia Wood and Lily Turner walking out of the cemetery with Easton Holmes that Harriet White suddenly realized what was going on, although the clueless Ryan Taylor remained bewildered.
