Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 677: You Have Self-Awareness
Easton Holmes and Lily Turner stayed at their own home until dinner, then they drove to Mr. Callix Linton’s house, which was not far away.
Seeing the couple return in good spirits, Callix felt relieved. After worrying all day, he was finally at ease.
Before they returned, Callix had already spoken with Michael Linton in advance, advising him not to ask Easton about why he took the day off today.
In fact, even if he didn’t say, Michael already knew, because they had met Aiden Taylor during lunch.
Aiden had given Michael a brief account of what happened at the cemetery today, giving him an understanding of the situation and how it was developing.
Learning that Sophia Wood and Lily Turner went to the cemetery with Easton, Michael felt a weight lifted off his heart. He knew that the mother-daughter pair were not heartless or unfeeling.
This was a very good start. Perhaps soon, the mother and daughter would recognize the Taylor Family. He was confident that day would come sooner or later.
A day later, Michael received the paternal kinship identification report for Lily Turner and Aiden Taylor. As expected, there was a familial relationship between them.
Upon receiving the report, Michael immediately informed Aiden of the results. Though he had expected this outcome, hearing about his kinship with Lily brought tears to his eyes.
He had finally found his brother’s daughter, fulfilling his parents’ last wishes. When he met his parents and brother in the afterlife, he could finally give them an account.
Despite his excitement, Aiden held back from immediately taking the report to Lily to acknowledge her. He tucked away his excitement and happiness in his heart for now. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
To ensure Ryan Taylor and Evelyn Taylor recognized Lily as a member of the Taylor Family, Aiden showed them the identification report. The solid evidence shocked Evelyn completely.
"You two should see clearly, Lily really is your uncle’s biological daughter. Never call her a bastard girl again, or don’t blame me for not warning you." Aiden directed these words mainly at Evelyn, his eyes never leaving her.
He was not ignoring Ryan; he simply knew his son was far more sensible than his daughter and would never do such things.
Evelyn’s ears were not deaf and her eyes not blind. She heard Aiden’s words clearly and saw his actions even more clearly.
"Dad! Just say it’s me; no need to drag my brother into this." Although she had accepted what her father Aiden just said, Evelyn still retorted with indignation.
She was upset that her father was siding with Lily, even if she knew Lily was his niece; it still made her feel uncomfortable inside.
"At least you know yourself well!"
Aiden wasn’t courteous with Evelyn, promptly retorting back.
Upon hearing this, Evelyn opened her mouth to argue again, but Harriet White sitting beside her tugged her arm, silently signaling her to restrain herself. She mustn’t act on impulse as it wouldn’t yield good results.
Receiving her mother’s warning, Evelyn swallowed her words, glared at Aiden, and then got up to return to her room.
