Lily Turner hadn’t yet solved the mystery in her mind when her phone was taken away by Easton Holmes. She tried to grab it back, but he dodged her.

She planned to wait for him to finish speaking before taking back the phone, but he hung up after just one sentence. She was displeased, "I haven’t found out everything I wanted! Why did you hang up?"

Her face was full of displeasure, and her beautiful big eyes were brimming with dissatisfaction.

"Why do you even ask him? He’ll just freak you out. Don’t bother with him from now on." Easton said as he placed the phone into his pocket, but just as soon as he did, it started buzzing.

He thought it was Thomas Fisher calling again and planned to ignore it, but as the phone continued to ring, a frown creased his handsome brow.

Easton took the phone out of his pocket, ready to pick it up and scold Thomas Fisher, but when he looked, it wasn’t Thomas calling — it was his father-in-law, Christopher Turner.
