Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 856: Does It Hurt a Lot?
Alice Turner didn’t answer Thomas Fisher’s question. She just glanced at him, then silently got out of the car.
Seeing this, Thomas Fisher guessed what Alice Turner meant. He took a look at her, who had already gotten out of the car, opened the car door, and also got out.
Alice initially thought Thomas Fisher would stay in the car and wouldn’t come out, and she was just figuring out how to get this stubborn guy out. But to her surprise, before she went to get him, he had already gotten out.
She stood where she was, waiting for him to come over. When he got close, she turned and walked toward the hotel entrance, not caring whether he followed her or not.
"Ouch!"
Thomas Fisher’s exclamation suddenly came from behind. Alice, who was walking ahead, instinctively stopped, paused for a moment, and then turned around to look back.
At the moment she turned, she saw him squatting on the ground, rubbing his ankle. Frowning, did he just twist his foot?
Thinking that Thomas Fisher might have twisted his ankle, Alice Turner immediately walked over to him. After reaching his side, she bent down to inquire about the situation, "What happened? Did you twist your ankle?"
As she got closer, she noticed the painful expression on his face.
"Yes!"
Thomas Fisher looked up at Alice Turner, who was walking over, and nodded at her, with an expression like a little wife who had been wronged.
This man is such a handful!
Seeing the situation, Alice Turner grumbled slightly annoyed in her heart. Though she was annoyed, she still squatted down beside him, "Does it hurt a lot? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
While asking, she reached out a hand to touch his injured foot.
"It hurts, but there’s no need to go to the hospital. You just help me walk," Thomas Fisher proactively extended his hand to her before Alice could react, waiting for her to help him stand up.
Seeing this, Alice withdrew her hand that was about to touch Thomas Fisher’s foot. However, she didn’t completely retract her hand; instead, she reached out to support him, "Are you sure you don’t need to go to the hospital?"
While helping him up, she anxiously asked again, because judging by his appearance, it seemed like his foot was seriously injured.
"I’m 100% sure I don’t need to go to the hospital."
Thomas Fisher stated this with great certainty, because his foot wasn’t actually injured at all. He was obviously confident that he didn’t need to go to the hospital. If he went, the truth would’ve come out, and he couldn’t go to a hospital.
Alice Turner didn’t know any of this, seeing Thomas Fisher’s face full of pain, she had no doubt about his injury, and supported him as they walked into the hotel lobby.
"ID card!"
As they neared the hotel entrance, Alice Turner reached out to Thomas Fisher for his ID card to help him check in.
He complied without asking a single question, took his wallet out of the pocket of his clothing, and handed it to her intact, "ID card! All kinds of cards are in the wallet."
When he handed the wallet to her, he said it in a serious manner.
"Got it."
Alice Turner didn’t make a fuss, helped Thomas Fisher to the sofa in the lobby, then turned and walked toward the reception desk. She had only walked a few steps when she heard Thomas calling her from behind, "Wait a minute!"
Hearing the man’s call, she instinctively stopped, turned, and looked at him, sitting on the sofa with a puzzled face, "What is it?"
"Do you know the passwords for my cards? How are you going to swipe without them?" Thomas Fisher didn’t answer Alice Turner’s question directly but instead replied with his own two questions.
"I don’t need to know the passwords for your cards!"
Alice Turner replied succinctly and briskly, and again walked toward the reception desk.
