The dragon froze.

For a single, stretched heartbeat, the four of them simply stared at one another, the air thick with tension.

Then the dragon moved. ๐˜ง๐˜ณ๐˜ฆโ„ฏ๐“Œ๐˜ฆ๐’ท๐˜ฏ๐‘œ๐‘ฃ๐˜ฆ๐“.๐’ธ๐˜ฐ๐“‚

He pulled himself free from the woman without haste and rose to his full height, completely naked, scales faintly shimmering beneath human skin that could no longer fully hide his true nature. Power rolled off him in waves.

His eyesโ€”vertical slits burning with molten goldโ€”locked onto Chiron and Silmarien with naked hostility.

"How did you get in here?" he demanded.

The words were calm, but the intent behind them was murderous.

This was his territory, and the way his fingers flexed told them he fully intended to kill intruders first and ask questions later.

Claws began to push through his fingertips, black and curved, scraping softly against the marble floor.

Before Silmarien could react, Chiron stepped forward.

A faint, almost amused side-smile tugged at his lips. "Gadan Locky," he said smoothly. "Fourth among the Ten Fingers of Solitude."

His gaze drifted brieflyโ€”to the woman scrambling away, wrapping herself in a loose cloth.

She was undeniably beautiful: golden hair spilling over bare shoulders, a lush figure, wide eyes shimmering with practiced fear.

Chiron's eyes flicked back to the dragon. "Though it seems solitude has not been strictly observed."

The dragon's expression darkened. "Answer the question," he snarled. "How did you get into this place?"

Before Chiron could respond, the woman suddenly cried out.

She threw herself at the dragon's feet, clutching his legs, sobbing loudly. "Benefactor please!" she begged, voice trembling perfectly. "Save me! This monster has kept me here day and nightโ€”using my body, trapping meโ€”I thought I would never be rescued!"

Her tears fell freely.

Chiron looked her way.

Such acting... flawless.

Then she moved.

A flash of gold burst from beneath her armโ€”a slender dagger already thrusting forward, aimed straight for Chiron's throat.

Clang!

The sound rang sharply through the hall.

Devil's Touch flowed like liquid blood, forming a blade in an instant, intercepting the strike with effortless precision. Sparks skittered across the floor as metal met living weapon.

Chiron didn't even flinch.

He smiled wider.

"Finger of Solitude, Number Two," he said lightly. "The Heart of the Chastity Family. Personally taken under the Fate Family's wing by the Seer herself."

His eyes gleamed. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you as well."

The woman leapt backward, abandoning her act in a heartbeat. Her expression hardened, eyes sharp and calculating now, all softness stripped away.

"You know us," she said coldly.

The dragon's gaze shifted between them, fury tightening his jaw.

The hunt had just become far more dangerous.

Chiron chuckled softly at those words.

"Know?" he said, shaking his head. "You two are practically legends." His gaze slid between them, amused. "And besidesโ€”no human woman can take a dragon and survive."

A smirk curved his lips, deliberately teasing.

The dragon, Gadanโ€”did not share the humor.

His brow plates lowered, eyes narrowing like molten coins. "Enough riddles," he growled. "Who are you? And how did you get here?"

Beside him, the woman shifted her footing.

It was subtle, but unmistakable.

Her stance lowered, weight balanced, every muscle coiled for violence. Spiritual energy bled from her skin in slow, luminous wavesโ€”deep gold, dense and heavy. The pressure of it pressed against the air itself.

A demi-god.

Chiron felt it clearly. Anyone with half a sense would.

Of course, he could not tell them the truthโ€”that he was the author of this world, that he knew their names because he had written them, that their sins and glories had once lived as words beneath his hands.

So instead, he told them something else. Something that was true.

"You built this city of lust to hide your own," Chiron said calmly.

Gadan stiffened.

Chiron turned his gaze fully to the woman. "Or more preciselyโ€”yours."

And he was right. After all, this woman, Arianna of the Chasisty family had a life or death battle with the dragon gadan of the Zoediac families.

Two things happened that day. One she fell in love with him, and two she did the most abominable thing one that came from that family could do.

She fell into her lust.

Since chastity was the opposite of lust, anyone falling, always fell hard.

And as a result of their cultivation, even harder. After all, being one of the families of the holy church removed the middle realm sin. But once one fell, they was no saving them.

Arianna had fallen probably the deepest. Fortunately, she did not go mad with lust because of the dragon she had come to love.

With his stamina, he coukd have her for hours. In fact, in the initial story, they were times they went at it for days.

But that was not the end of her lust. Her pheromones affected those around her.

It was for this reason that this city was built. Yes. It was all to hide Arianna's lust.

That was what infected everybody above.

She needed Gadan's yang energy regularly to tampered her self down or she might go mad.

Naturally, the two of them could not longer stay in their factions and left.

The seer had been searching, and so was the dragon Patriarch. But these two had been hiding right underneath their noses.

They were Chiron's target. Just like how he had taken Silmarien under his wing, he needed these two too.

Arianna frowned golden aura flared, sharp and hostile.

"But it's no longer safe," Chiron continued, voice steady. "We have a common enemy. And if you don't join me, she will kill you both."

Silence stretched.

Then Chiron added quietly, "And I'm sure you already know thisโ€”if I can find youโ€ฆ so can the Seer."

The air trembled.

As if on cue, a deep rumbling rolled from above, stone groaning against stone, power pressing down like an oncoming storm.

Chiron frowned, eyes lifting. This was not a part of the plan. But with how many times that Seer had surprised him, he was sure it was her doing.

"We have company."
