Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel-Chapter 756: Chiron Makes and offer
While the black formation still writhed and howled, a figure dropped down beside Chiron.
Silmarien landed lightly on broken stone. His coat was torn in several places, streaked with blood and ash, and there were cuts along his arms and cheek—but his eyes were sharp, his posture steady. Whatever had happened between him, the dragon, and Arianna, he had survived it.
Chiron didn't look away from the formation as he spoke.
"How did the convincing go?"
Silmarien exhaled and rolled his shoulders.
"The dragon and Arianna are willing to hear what you have to say… for now. After that, they'll decide whether to kill you or not."
Chiron nodded once.
"Then you did well."
Silmarien glanced at the writhing city-sized formation, at the black aura chewing into the sky itself.
"…And what exactly are you doing over there?"
Chiron smiled faintly.
"Stealing a pet."
Silmarien frowned. Even standing this far away, he could feel it—the pressure, the rot, the weight of countless deaths folded into that spell.
"That formation reeks of death."
Then his lips curved into a crooked smile.
"I wish all the elves were soaked in something like that."
Chiron chuckled softly.
"They will be… soon."
His gaze returned to the center of the formation, where the Clown's screams still echoed, warped and distorted.
Gradually, the screaming faded.
The black aura sank back into the ground like ink into paper, and the city fell unnaturally silent.
Chiron and Silmarien walked forward together.
At the center, the Clown lay kneeling, completely coated in a slick, oil-like aura of death. It crawled over his skin, filling his eyes, soaking into his bones.
Chiron lifted a finger and sliced it lightly. A few drops of his blood fell onto the Clown's forehead.
The blood spread, forming a glowing runic mark.
The Clown tried to resist—his body trembling, jaw clenching—but it was useless. The rune burned its way in, rewriting him from the inside out.
Slowly… his expression changed.
The madness dulled.
The defiance cracked.
Something else took root.
Chiron willed it.
The Clown rose to his feet, turned, and dropped to one knee.
"Master," he said, bowing deeply.
The Finger of Solitude now belonged to him.
Meanwhile, faraway, in her castle of glass, the seer screamed loudly.
She had felt the connection between her and the clown break.
It could only mean that Chiron had somehow defeated the Clown.
She gritted her teeth, hands squeezing tightly. She turned to her right—to a guard. "Get me the brat from the Pateince familyimmediately."
The gold knight bowed as he hurried along.
"Chiron..." she muttered hatefully.
....
Chiron smiled.
The reason he did not use his aura as much since when he got Spiritual energy was not because he did not want to, but because it was not speaking easy to cultivate.
When he was lower ranked, it was. But things changed the older and stronger he got.
As the name implied, Death Aura required death. While Chiron was quite talented in the area of killing, he did not know how to use death aura so much.
The only person that did was that undead general under the demon king that had given his life for it.
Chiron as not so foolish as go mess with things he knew were too dangerous.
As the person that wrote about this world, he knew the incredible risk associated with death aura.
In fact, the only reason he had risked acquiring it was because back then, he had no choice. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
It was either that or face the death sentenced on him by his clan.
But there was no doubt that it was powerful.
While Chiron did not know much about it, that did not mean that he did not know a few things.
Coupled with the knowledge he had stolen from Manu Madayaki— who was a person with wisdom from another world, Chiron and just enough to high jack control.
He did not know what the seer was thinking turning a finger of solitude into an undead or how she was even able to do it in the first place, but there was no way he was letting the opportunity slip.
Then again...
He mused to himself.
He did remember that the Seer should have died when the heaven tribulations came for Manu Madayaki, but she somehow survived.
Was it possible that right now, she was also an undead?
Chiron frowned at the thought. After all, if she was, there was no way she would have been able to still manipulate the power of fate.
He would need to create contingencies, just in case it was true.
Also, now that he looked at the face of the Clown,
bowing in submission, having an army of undead would be really good.
But the death energy needed for that would be no small matter.
Also, if he coukd find the general's undead manual on the subject matter, it would be most helpful.
After all, even the Faith change system did not have it.
Chiron decided to throw those thoughts into the back of his mind. Right now, they were animals in front of him that he needed to tame.
Yes. To put it simple, Chiron was building his army.
The reasonw as because he knew. The moment he attempted to ascend into godhood, the seer would know and come for him.
Not just her, but other demi gods like that Brother shadow.
Chiron remembered what that man's plan had been that time.
After all, he was the one that brought about the end of this world.
The end that the original Mc could not handle and had to give his life for.
Such a foolish thing to do.
And now, he was prisoner in the heavens.
But it did bring about the question. If the original Mc of the book gave his life for this world, and was now a prisoner of Fate, then how was it that the world started from beginning again?
