Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel-Chapter 758: Charm A Chastity
The world folded.
Sound vanished.
Color bled into shadow.
For a heartbeat, there was only weightlessness — as though existence itself had forgotten them.
Then—
Their feet touched ground.
The air rushed back.
Warm.
Heavy.
Perfumed.
Soaked with an invisible pressure that made the skin prickle and the blood stir.
They stood upon black-red stone, veins of glowing runes crawling beneath the surface like living arteries.
Ahead of them stretched an endless land of crimson plains, towering obsidian ridges, and rivers that shimmered faintly with spiritual essence.
In the far distance…
A castle rose.
Spires of dark crystal entwined with living flesh-like stone, crowned by floating sigils and drifting chains of runes. The very sky above it rotated slowly, tinted with a seductive violet hue.
The atmosphere itself… breathed.
Many things had been upgraded since the land absorbed the divine essence from the Heaven's tribulation.
Gadan froze.
Arianna's breath caught.
Even Silmarien halted mid-step.
They all felt it at once.
A law.
A domain.
A presence vast enough to crush kingdoms.
Chiron spread his arms slightly, smiling.
"Welcome," he said calmly, "to my territory."
They turned sharply toward him.
"My own…"
"Cardinal Forbidden Zone."
Silence fell like a guillotine.
Gadan's pupils shrank.
Arianna staggered half a step back, eyes wide.
Silmarien slowly turned his head, staring at Chiron as though seeing him for the first time.
"A… Cardinal…" Silmarien whispered.
Even his voice failed him.
A Cardinal Forbidden Zone was not land.
It was authority.
It was divinity.
To claim one was to carve a wound in the laws of the world and declare yourself a sovereign above fate.
And yet—
The entire Elven Kingdom now lived inside one.
And this man…
Had owned one all along.
Chiron glanced at their expressions, amused.
"This is the Domain of Lust."
The words alone made the air throb.
"This law governs desire, temptation, craving, flesh, and obsession."
His gaze drifted to Arianna.
"For you," he said softly, "it is perfect."
Her cultivation trembled instinctively.
She could already feel it.
The domain fed her.
Strengthened her.
Nurtured her instincts like fertile soil.
"And," Chiron continued, "for the time being…"
"This place will shield you from the Seer."
"From Fate."
"From the gaze of heaven itself."
They slowly looked around again.
At the land.
At the distant castle.
At the breathing sky.
Gadan finally exhaled.
"Even if only to fight the Seer…" he said quietly, "this is… an enormous gift."
Chiron shrugged lightly.
"I treat people who are useful to me well."
A pause.
"Only useful people."
Understanding struck instantly.
Gadan's posture changed.
Without thinking, he pulled Arianna behind him, placing his body between her and Chiron.
Protective.
Instinctive.
"People always want to use us," the dragon said coldly.
Chiron met his eyes without blinking.
"People," he replied calmly, "exist to be used."
The words were simple.
Absolute.
Then Chiron tilted his head.
"So."
"Will you take my offer…"
"…or should I send your location as a courtesy gift to the Holy Church?"
The air sharpened.
Silmarien stepped forward before either could respond.
He placed himself between them and Gadan, turning calmly.
"Don't be a fool," he said flatly.
"You have nothing left to lose."
Gadan stared at him.
Long.
Hard.
Then finally spoke.
"Only on one condition."
Chiron raised a brow.
"When all this is over…" Gadan said slowly, "I want this land."
The Forbidden Zone itself.
Arianna sucked in a breath.
Silmarien froze.
For a moment…
Then Chiron laughed.
Soft.
Amused.
"Dragons," he said, shaking his head, "are truly greedy creatures."
He stepped closer.
"But fine."
"After everything is done…"
"If you so wish…"
"I will give you not only this land…"
"But the rest of the outside world."
Gadan's breath stalled.
That was…
Not ambition.
That was conquest.
Before he could answer, space rippled beside Chiron.
Three massive figures emerged.
Towering.
Broad.
Each bearing three horned heads stacked vertically, tusks dripping with faint black energy.
D3.
The Three-Head Orc.
Chiron turned slightly.
"See to it that our guests are treated as honored nobles."
The orc bowed deeply.
"At once, Master."
As Gadan and Arianna were guided away, Chiron's voice stopped them.
"Arianna."
She paused.
Turned.
Chiron's gaze sharpened.
"There is one thing I need from you."
Her heart tightened.
"…what?"
Chiron smiled.
"Tell me…"
"How does one enter…"
"…the sacred grounds of the Chastity Family?"
.....
Far away.
Beyond the Veil.
Within lands untouched by war and chaos…
Inside the ancestral estate of the Chastity Family.
The garden lay in eternal twilight.
White stone paths wound through pale flowering trees, their petals drifting endlessly through still air. Fountains whispered softly, crystalline water gliding into silent basins.
Beauty lived here.
But mercy did not.
At the far edge of the garden, beneath a twisted silver tree, a lone wheelchair had been left.
Abandoned.
Upon it sat a girl.
Her body slumped unnaturally to one side, neck bent at an awkward angle. Thin strands of saliva slipped from the corner of her mouth, tracing slow paths down her pale chin.
Her eyes were open.
But unfocused.
Vacant.
This was Sprite.
Apollo's elder sister.
Born wrong.
Though her blood was pure…
Though her birth had once declared her the rightful heiress…
Fate had twisted her form before she ever learned to walk.
And now—
She was no longer even that.
The maids passed her daily.
Sometimes they fed her.
Sometimes they forgot.
Sometimes days went by without water touching her skin, without hands wiping the filth from her body.
They no longer dressed her properly.
No longer brushed her hair.
They simply wheeled her into the garden…
And left her there.
Like broken furniture.
Like a discarded relic.
This had begun the day her brother died.
The day Apollo was killed by Eunid's hands.
From that moment…
Everything changed.
Her cousin was named successor.
Her rooms were taken.
Her attendants reassigned.
Her existence… quietly erased.
Only the garden remained.
Only the cold.
Only memory.
A tear slid from the corner of Sprite's eye.
Silent.
Unnoticed.
She remembered his voice.
His laughter.
The way he used to kneel beside her wheelchair and speak to her as if she were whole.
As if she were normal.
As if she were not broken.
Apollo…
The only person who had ever loved her without pity.
Without shame.Without cruelty.
Now he was gone. And in his absence…
She was nothing. A burden.
A stain.
A reminder best hidden.
Her chest trembled faintly. Inside her twisted body… Pain had festered. Hate had grown.
She hated herself. She hated her family.
She hated this silent garden that pretended to be paradise.
But most of all…
She hated Eunid.
The man who had taken her brother from her.
When she heard what they said Apollo had done…
She had refused to believe it.
Impossible.
Her brother had been gentle. Kind. The sweetest soul in the world.
They had framed him. They had destroyed him. They had executed him.
And now…
They had taken everything else from her too.
Her fingers twitched weakly against the armrest.
Her unfocused eyes burned.
In that ruined heart…
Only one desire remained.
Vengeance.
On her family.
On the Chastity bloodline.
On the world that had broken her…
And on Eunid most of all.
