Reawakening: SSS-Rank Villain's POV-Chapter 63: Guild Leader, Darius!
At one corner of the city, the Green Dragon guildhall loomed ahead, its dragon engraved banners fluttering in the breeze of the city.
For someone to own a plot of land in the city requires at least 100 million relic coins to purchase that piece of land from the alliance.
Not to mention buying a guild permit, and building a guild within the city, the amount of gold relic spent would be quite enormous but as a good guild, the entire amount would be earned back within a few years with interest to boot.
Urus shoved past the guards, ignoring their curious glances, and burst into Darius's office. His brother sat behind a grand desk, scrolls and items and documents scattered across its surface.
Before him was a young looking lady, it was his secretary. They were discussing how they could efficiently grind the floors and earn more relic coins as well as equipments and the daily editor the members.
Darius's expression one of annoyance at the interruption.
But when he saw it was his brother, his face softened slightly.
"What did I say about barging in like a mad dog?" Darius asked, his tone flat but his eyes narrowing as he took in Urus's disheveled state.
Urus's face flushed red and he slowed down but his face was aggrieved with blood leaking from the edge of his lips.
"Brother, y-you have to avenge me!"
Urus's face was dark as he continued. "A guy pretended to be a low level player and when we went to speak to him, he broke the hands of my team members and proceed to beat us without fear of your the city rules nor your reputation!"
Darius immediately went back into his work. Of course he knew how troublesome his brother was and was well aware of what actually happened but he couldn't just do nothing as his brother was
bullied.

"What's the name of the person who bullied you?"
Urus immediately smiled as he knew he was going to get his revenge. He spoke without hesitation.
"The system revealed his name as Lucian Morningstar."
The instant the name popped up, Darius's indifference cracked, as flicker of recognition crossing his face. "Lucian Morningstar," he repeated, tasting the name.
Suddenly, he flicked his hands and a holographic screen flared to life, towering over them with a list of names and ranks. It was the primordial rankings. It contained a list of names that had broken records after records for each floors of the Galactic Tower.
The first list contained names of people that had broken the first floor record.
Darius scrolled through the lists with practiced ease, stopping when Lucian's entry glowed in bold:
[7.
Solo Leveling the first floor.]
Urus's face changed drastically as he heard what
Darius said out loud.
"Solo cleared the second floor? That's… unexpected."
"H-how is that possible?" Urus stuttered as he spoke.
His brother waved him off. "There are many people who can solo the first floor, but they all are in the Second Great Expanse lobby, level 100 and above. If this guy could actually solo the first floor without actually being a level 100 Rank 2 player, then he definitely awakened an S-rank talent or above."
"Brother! You must get vengeance for me! If you let this slide, people might think you've grown weak!"
Darius's face turned cold. "When are you in a position to tell me what people might think? Why didn't you become this smart when you decided to bully newbies?"
Urus's face paled at his brother's words and he gritted his teeth but didn't dare say another word.
The lady who had been silent all along suddenly spoke. "Such a talent can't slip through our fingers. Guild leader, we'll have to recruit him.
Darius leaned back, steepling his fingers. "A man who can solo floors is worth more than a thousand members. We recruit him."
Urus spoke, his face flushed red.
"Good luck. I'd like to see how you'd recruit someone as prideful as that."
"Perhaps," Darius mused, rising from his chair. "But I'll see for myself. Where's he at?"
"Celestial Rest," Urus muttered.
Darius nodded, already moving. "Stay here. We will handle this."
....
Up in his suite, Lucian sat cross-legged on the floor, the spoils of the second floor arrayed before him.
Massive amounts of items pilled up in his room as he successfully rerolled 43 items!
He was quite satisfied with some while some literally had him ripping his hair out and punching the ground in frustration!
Out of the 40 plus items, 10 actually regressed in quality, making him want to cry blood.
At this moment, a soft chime broke the stillness. It was the hotel's communication system, a gentle intrusion that pulled him back to the surface.
He rose smoothly to his feet and crossed the room to the sleek panel embedded in the wall. With a tap, the image of the elven receptionist flickered into view, her expression as composed as ever.
"Mr. Morningstar," she began, her voice smooth and professional, "there is a gentleman here who wishes to see you. He claims to be the leader of the Green Dragon Guild and says he has an urgent matter to discuss."
Lucian's brow lifted slightly. The Green Dragon Guild, one of the guild he saw in the city while coming here to the hotel.
He hadn't expected such attention so soon after his arrival. The skirmish with the thieves in the merchant district must have spread faster than he'd anticipated. Or perhaps it was something else.
It could be his name etched into the Primordial Codex but he didn't care in the least.
"Very well ," he said after a moment's pause. "I'll come down to the lobby."
The receptionist nodded, and the image faded. Lucian adjusted his cloth, pulling a fresh cloth from his inventory.
The legendary Titanic Breastplate remained equipped beneath, its subtle glow hidden under the fabric. He ran a hand through his crimson hair, smoothing it back, then made for the elevator.
