Performance time had arrived.
Forty contestants were divided into eight teams for a group competition.

After the lots were drawn, the first group quickly took the stage.

When Bo Xiangxiang’s group performed, she took the center position as expected, belting a high note to start, instantly heating up the atmosphere.

Luo Ning languidly sat in her chair, watching the fervent dance on stage.

This muddled the primary and secondary roles, leading the judges to lean in and whisper among themselves in discussion.
The program had enlisted five professional teachers as judges, two of whom Liu Shaoxian had approached privately to look out for Bo Xiangxiang; consequently, they both gave high scores.
After all, Bo Xiangxiang’s performance really wasn’t bad; what was lacking were the five students following her.
The other three judges, who were more straightforward, felt that Bo Xiangxiang completely overshadowed her group. She stood out brilliantly, but the students were cast into dull obscurity, so their scores were not particularly high.
However, after averaging the scores, Bo Xiangxiang’s group still achieved the highest so far.
Then it was time for Luo Ning’s group to take the stage.
The song they had composed was very lively. Several young men took turns singing as they entered the stage, with Luo Ning coming on last, singing the chorus.
This time, when she started singing, her voice had a sweet clarity that cleverly joined in with the five boys’ melodies and harmonies, giving it a carefree and light feeling that matched the theme of this edition perfectly.

The next group to perform was Ji Xinghang’s. Their singing and dancing were fiery, and Ji Xinghang did not take the lead vocals or the central spot in the dance.
But since they were all boys, with handsome and cool expressions, and had the best height and figures, on top of being top influencers, it was impossible for Ji Xinghang not to stand out.
Many girls in the audience couldn’t help standing up and screaming, shouting out Ji Xinghang’s name.
Their singing and dancing were good, and their performance was stable, but they only slightly touched on the theme, so their final score was a few points lower than Luo Ning’s group, placing them second for now.
Then came Lu Xun’s group. He didn’t dance much, mainly providing support by singing about one-fifth of the song.
Lu Xun, with his jade-like face and extraordinary elegance, tall and straight stature, exuded a restrained nobility that was impossible to overlook.
His voice was also particularly magnetic and pleasant. Even Luo Ning felt as if her ears were about to get pregnant when she heard him sing.
