Chapter 215: Chapter 215: Wu Tang’s Message

Song Recommendation: Haegum By Agust D

At Li’s Corporation, Li Qiang and his men were still trying to find the twins, that was until Xin Yan got a message from an unknown number.

The message reads: You do not need to be worried, your kids are with me, and I promise that they are safe. I just need them to make friends with my son, Tang Ni.

~ Wu Tang!

"Li Qiang, take a look at this," Xin Yan motioned for Li Qiang to read the message.

Li Qiang read the message, and his hands clenched.

"What is he planning now?" Li Qiang asked, reading the message once again. He wanted to see if he could decipher a hidden message.

"I knew my babies were with him, it was not enough he caused our accident, and caused them to grow up without us for five years, now he separates them from us again, I am going to give him a piece of my mind," Xin Yan was irate, her emotions were clouding her reasoning.

But then again, she was only acting based on motherly instincts. Wu Tang had gone too far by taking her kids from her.

"Even if he wants my kids to be friends with his son, it was not a hard thing, he could have sent Tang Ni to school, he would meet more friends there," she continued, and Li Qiang could only stand next to her, listening to her vent her frustrations.

"We know where they are now, that is the most important thing, I will ask my men to spy on Wu Tang, we should be able to find Chuxi and Meimei then," Li Qiang promised her, and she nodded, feeling assured since he had promised.

"What about the issues surrounding your company? How are you going to deal with it?" Xin Yan inquired, successfully changing the topic.

"I am going to sue those companies," Li Qiang replied with a cold voice. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓

"Sue?" Xin Yan asked in return, her brows furrowed as she looked up at him with a confused look.

"Hmm, those companies surely did not read the clauses on the contracts, there is a clause that says they cannot terminate their working relationship with my company without prior notice, if they do, then I am free to sue them," Li Qiang had a proud smile on his face as he explained to her.

Xin Yan chuckled. She was not expecting such a twist, and she was eagerly awaiting the expressions of the chairmen of those companies.

"You have planned this out for a long time? Did you not trust them, even if it was just a bit of trust?" Xin Yan asked, eager to know what was on his mind.

"I never knew that they would betray me, this particular clause has always been placed in every contract I award companies, I never expected it to be beneficial," Li Qiang explained to her.

"So it’s just a normal clause, which turned out to be useful for you," Xin Yan reiterated what he said with a face full of understanding.

"Hmm, that’s basically it," he nodded, and she smiled.

"That’s good, they will not know what hit them, Wu Tang thinks he can hurt your company with his little plans, but then again, I am interested to know why he hates you," Xin Yan placed her finger on her chin, with her face drawn together. She needed answers.

"I wish I could also answer your question, but I am also clueless, just like you," Li Qiang had also asked himself the same question, but he was unable to get an answer, no matter how hard he tried.

"I do not know if I should ask this, but, have you been able to discover grandfather’s location?" Xin Yan asked, her face filled with distress.

Li Qiang remained quiet for a while, before he shook his head. Despite everything which he had been facing, he did not forget to search for his grandfather, but all efforts proved futile.

It seemed like his grandfather was aware that he would never give up on him. Thus, he hid himself very well.

And again, Grandfather Li had been the one to teach Li Qiang everything he knew, so it was appropriate to say that Li Qiang might not be able to find him if he did not make himself known.

"It will all work out," Xin Yan held his hands with a reassuring gaze, and he nodded tiredly.

Meanwhile, after Wu Tang had locked the twins and his son in the room, he returned to the company.

"What are the latest developments?" Wu Tang asked his subordinate as he took a seat on his office chair.

"The issue has escalated into a full-blown natter, the internet is outraged by your actions," the subordinate reported.

Wu Tang paused at his words.

"What do you mean by outraged?" Wu Tang inquired with an interested expression.

"They are calling you a coward, someone who can only fight using high-end tactics," the subordinate replied, hating to be the one to report such terrible news to his hot-tempered boss.

"Is that so? It seems the citizens of this country are jobless, and have no other choice than to exchange words on the internet, so despicable," Wu Tang shook his head, clearly not bothered by the comments from the netizens.

"How about Li Qiang? Any news from his side?" This was the only thing Wu Tang was concerned about, Li Qiang’s response.

"Sadly, there have been no movements from Li Qiang, nor any message from his team," the subordinate replied, finding the situation to be confusing.

"Strange!" Wu Tang commented with a frown on his face.

He was not expecting things to turn out this way. From what he had planned, he had deduced that Li Qiang’s response would be intense, and he would use that against him.

But Li Qiang’s silence was not something he was expecting, and it ruffled his feathers a bit. He was unaware as to how he was to react to Li Qiang’s lack of response.

It was unclear to him, but it felt like Li Qiang had already estimated his move.
