For some weird reason, Li Qiang got a text message from Xin Yan, telling him that she was going to be attending the prom.

Li Qiang did not see this message until the next day. He rushed to call Xin Yan who told him she had changed her mind.

Li Qiang tried to convince her to switch partners, but she was adamant on having him as her partner, Li Qiang was confused about this.

"Why are you bent on having me as your partner? I suggested having my friend be your partner, but you rejected the offer, I would rather not be your partner," Li Qiang was just as stubborn as Xin Yan.

"You don’t need to say anything, I have decided I want to be your partner for tonight’s prom, alright, get prepared for the prom," Xin Yan smiled as she patted Li Qiang’s chest, before she walked away.

Li Qiang watched her leave, and he felt that she was different. He had related with Xin Yan a couple of times, but this was the first time he felt that he did not know her.

This caused a considerable misunderstanding. Despite Li Qiang’s insistence, Xin Yan still forced him to dance with her.

While they were dancing, Song Chang walked into the hall. His face burned severely as he watched the two dance. He did not bother to ask what had happened as he walked out of the hall, his face wet with tears.

This was the beginning of a large feud.

Xin Yan and Li Qiang exchanged glances when Wu Tang was done with the story.

But she understood this was a serious issue, and she could not laugh.

"I remember that night vividly, and I was sure I did not go to the prom, I was at home, having my therapy session," Xin Yan stated seriously.

Wu Tang sat up immediately he heard her words. He looks at the serious expression she had, and it seemed that she was not lying with her firm words.

"What do you mean to say?" Wu Tang asked, squinting his eyes to look at her.

"I never attended the prom night," Xin Yan replied, enunciating each word.

"If you did not attend the prom night, then who was Li Qiang dancing with?" Wu Tang asked.

"That was an imposter, I never danced with Xin Yan, someone disguised as Xin Yan, and that caused the big misunderstanding, I was able to find out after the dance, and I wanted to inform you, but I could not find you," Li Qiang explained to him.

Li Qiang had no idea, but he felt that he could forgive Wu Tang. Wu Tang had not caused any major damage, except from causing their accident, and separating them from their kids.

"Damn it! I have made a huge mistake, I didn’t even stay to listen to the side of your story, and I caused a big mess, especially after listening to him," Wu Tang placed his hands on his forehead, his eyes were wet with tears.

Li Qiang’s brain clicked. Wu Tang just mentioned someone, that means this was a bigger conspiracy.

The kids exchanged glances. It turns out that it was just a big misunderstanding. They heaved a sigh in relief, this means that they could remain friends.

"I am deeply sorry, Li Qiang, Xin Yan, I allowed my stupidity to cloud my emotions, I could not think straight, and it caused me to have such hatred towards you, which is not supposed to be," Wu Tang fell to his knees, as he crawled to Xin Yan and Li Qiang to plead for their forgiveness.

Tang Mei let out a gasp seeing Wu Tang act that way. She would never have thought that she will experience such a day when she will witness Wu Tang lowered his head to someone.

She was not the only surprised, Xin Yan and Li Qiang were also surprised.

"Wu Tang, you do not need to apologize, but I need you to tell me something, who was the person who approached you, and decided to help you with your revenge? I feel he is the biggest villain here," Li Qiang helped Wu Tang up.

Wu Tang, who had taken his seat, had a thoughtful look on his face.

"What crimes might that be?" Xin Yan asked with a smile on her face.

She felt glad that all the misunderstandings have been cleared. The only thing they need to do now is to find out the main mastermind, and they could have a peaceful life.

"I know you have been looking for Yuan Renshu, but he has been working for you for a while now, and it was on my orders, it was one of my plans to kidnap you, and he was going to help me with it," Wu Tang announced, his voice had a hint of embarrassment in it.

Xin Yan coughed as she stared at him. She wondered how far he could go to get what he wanted.

"Where is he? Why do I sense that you made him undergo plastic surgery?" Xin Yan asked as she narrowed her eyes at Wu Tang who averted his face from her awkwardly.
