Mr. Lu took a step back in surprise.

"What are you people talking about? Why do you have to say such things? Who gave you the authority to speak such things?" He questioned furiously, but if one looked closer, one would notice that his hands were shaking by his side. This was due to fear.

"Mr. Lu, we got this from a reliable source, and there is evidence to back it up," one of the reporters replied while casting a disgusted look towards him.

"How did this happen?" He whispered to himself, rereading the article once again.

"Surprised? Shocked? Astonished?" They both heard the familiar questions, and they swiftly turned their heads to see Madam Lu walking straight to them while being accompanied by Gu Shishi who gave them a disgusted look.

"What do you mean by this?" Mr. Lu suppressed the feeling of anger in him as he forced a smile on his face while asking the question.

"I should be asking you this, do you think you can go scot-free after you have successfully destroyed lives? Do you think you should feel proud of what you have done?" Madam Lu asked as she forced back her tears.

Twenty-four years of raising someone else’s child. Twenty-four years of taking care of her child, not knowing he was hers all along.

"Wei Jian, I do not know what you are talking about, it is best you clearly tell me, so I would understand," Lu Juan smiled. Clearly, he was not ready to admit to his mistakes.

Gu Shishi shook her head with disdain when she heard what he had to say. She had to admit that he was quite a shameless man.

Despite the truth staring at him, he still decided to lie to the end.

Lu Feng handed the papers over to his father, while staring at Madam Lu with complicated eyes. Madam Lu didn’t bother to return the stare to him.

Lu Juan read through the papers, and once he was done, Madam Lu chuckled.

Lu Juan didn’t reply. Lu Feng more or less was aware of what is in there, and he silently gulped. For some reason, he felt that after today, things were going to change drastically, and it would not be in his favor.

Madam Lu could tell what he was thinking, and she was ready to burst his bubble.

She chuckled, abruptly wiping the smile off his face.

"Do you think my son is dead? Think again, your plans are definitely not going to work, and just so you know, the Police are on their way, and the evidence which you happily gave has been sent to them," Madam Lu paused as she gave him a triumphant look.

"In other words, it is game over for you," She ended her statement with a smile.
