Rebirth: The unfavored Princess is the Tyrant King's favorite-Chapter 75: Untitled
When Nicholas finally let go of Luciana and allowed her to sleep, it was past midnight. She looked exhausted as she lay there weakly on the bed as if there were no bones left in her body.
Nicholas got out of bed and found a wet towel to clean all the sweat from her body so that she could sleep comfortably.
Even though this was the first time he was doing something like this, he did it seriously as if he was doing an important task only to hear her mumbling in her sleep.
"Ouch... Nick, spare me...You beast... I’m tired," Luciana whimpered.
Nicholas smiled at her words, shaking his head at how adorably cute she looked, and then his eyes fell on all the marks and bruises he had left on her body. He inwardly scolded himself for not being gentle enough and causing her to be in pain.
She was right; he was a beast, a beast that had been unleashed due to her sweetness. He tried to lift himself off the bed only to hear a squeaking sound. It seems they needed a sturdier bed for their future indoor activities.
He had tried to curb his strength and made sure not to use even one percent of his supernatural strength, but it seemed she was still too fragile.
Since she had now surrendered herself to him, he decided to pamper her. He will give her all she wants and lay all his wealth at her feet.

In the deepest part of the dark forest, a place where the atmosphere was heavily filled with dark spiritual energy, a place where even the forest spirits didn’t dare to venture, was the heavenly punishment spirit’s solitary confinement cell.
This cell was the home and prison of some of the most powerful deities who had committed evil deeds on earth, and it just so happened that the soul of the very first Nicholas to walk on the face of the Windermere Continent had been locked there.
Since he was the son of a dragon deity, for 2000 years, his soul had been kept in limbo in one of these cells.
When the first Nicholas was cursed to have an ill-fated love with his wife Luciana because they had caused an abomination and was told his and the first Luciana’s souls would be split anytime they reincarnated, he began to search for ways to prevent their souls from splitting.
He found a powerful sorcerer and asked him to create something to protect his and Luciana’s souls from splitting.
The sorcerer had created the soul-searching lamp and had told him to sleep with it beside his bed; if he died, his soul would be connected to it in the afterlife.
Anytime someone who had a part of his or Luciana’s soul made contact with the lamp, they were going to get a chance at a full soul rebirth.
Tonight was the third night Nicholas Hunt, the eldest prince of Gloryland, had slept with the soul-searching lamp by his side. The number 3 was auspicious.
Tonight also happened to be an auspicious day, a full moon—a day the spiritual energy was strong.
When the two lovebirds had made love, fully surrendering themselves to each other, it further weakened the potency of the curse.
But since the potency of the curse had weakened, instead of a chance at rebirth that was promised by the powerful sorcerer, the foundations to the gates of the cell shook and had been broken.
Hearing the cries of his beloved, the first soul in the heavenly solitary confinement cell had escaped and was now lingering in the shadows around his object of affection—Luciana.

The next morning,
Luciana woke up with the rays of sun streaming through the window as the gentle morning breeze swayed the curtains. She tried to stretch her stiff body but hissed in pain.
Her whole body ached, and she felt sore all over, and then memories of the past night’s activities came rushing into her mind.
’Nick, that big meanie; he was the one who did this to her,’ she thought and blushed. Then her naked body beneath the sheets rubbed another body.
’How embarrassing! They were still both naked in bed so early in the morning; what if a maid or servant mistakenly walked in on them?’
Luciana turned her sore body to the side to see if he was still sleeping so that she could slip out of bed and wear something to cover up her nakedness, but she froze when she saw he was already awake and staring at her.
"You are finally awake," said the perpetrator, who seemed to be in good spirits and was smiling gently at her. She inwardly scoffed and rolled her eyes at him.
’How could he still look so devastatingly handsome this early morning when he had just woken up?’ Just seeing his perfect features made her immensely jealous.’
"Are you still in pain?" he asked again with that same gentle voice he had used before.
"What do you think?" She threw the question back at him, pouted her lips, and angrily glared at him before making a "humph" sound and tilting her head to the side.
"Are you angry?" He chuckled and placed his fingers under her chin and brought her face towards him, leaned in, and kissed her, causing her eyes to widen and her face to flush. ’She hadn’t even brushed her teeth yet!’
"If you keep looking at me and seducing me like that, I won’t be held responsible for pouncing on you for looking so adorable," he said with a predatory glint in his eyes and added seductively when he saw a blush creeping along her neck.
"Or you could take the initiative and pounce on me... beat me to your heart’s content to vent your anger if that is what you want."
’The domineering Prince Nicholas Hunt wants her... to beat him?’ She thought, only for him to lean in again and whisper.
"I will allow you to beat me to your heart’s content... in bed."
"Pervert," she cussed under her breath, her face as red as a tomato, but he only laughed at her words and pulled her close, only to hear the bed creak loudly again; it was even shaking.
They both looked at each other, and Nicholas could see the accusation in her eyes. The words, "This bed is like this because of you," could be seen written on her face.
Before she even opened her mouth, Nicholas beat her to it.
"Erm... I’ll tell them to replace the bed," he said and awkwardly scratched his head, and for the first time, Luciana thought she saw a sheepish expression on his face, but it disappeared as soon as it appeared.
"I told the maids to draw a hot bath for you. Would you like to soak yourself in it for a while?" He said, and she shook her head like a spoiled little girl.
"I’m so sore and tired I want to sleep more," she whined.
"But it’s past 8 am already, Love. The bed should be changed too, and I have gotten you some pain-relieving oils that can help soothe the pain..." he said and winked at her before adding in a whisper,
"I even got an ointment to apply there later for you."
After hearing how she kept hissing and whimpering in her sleep and cursing him from time to time, he had decided that since he had been the one to put her in such a predicament, he should take responsibility and make her feel better.
Luciana heard Nicholas’ words and felt surprised, to think that Nicholas had such a caring side to him. Was the person in front of her right now an imposter?
As she kept staring at the man before her, Nicholas’ words finally sank in, and she realized something was causing her eyes to bulge. ’Did he tell anyone who cared to know that they had sex?’
"You... You didn’t happen to have gotten everything you talked about from the imperial pharmacy, did you?" She asked.
"Where else could I get the items I just mentioned?" Nicholas asked back, puzzled by her question. He became especially confused when she glared at him.
’Why was it that the first time he was caring for a woman and not abandoning her after a steamy night together, she looked... rather displeased?’
