Daniel Green smacked his dry lips, looking around.
Mason Bennettโs villa was in a very good location, and there were no other villas around, making it very quiet and much larger than others.
He walked over but suddenly felt hesitant to ring the doorbell.

Daniel followed her with his face slightly flushed, yet he still replied with a soft "Mm."
Bella could somewhat guess his purpose for visiting her, looking at the silent, head-drooping young man in front of her, she sighed inwardly.
If there was anyone in the Green Family she couldnโt bear to see suffer, it was this kid.
"Sis, Iโm sorry." Daniel said hoarsely.
"Did you do anything to let me down?"
Daniel abruptly looked up, shaking his head: "I didnโt, how could I ever hurt you!"
He was a bit anxious.
Bella, however, just laughed: "If thatโs the case, why are you apologizing to me?"
Upon hearing this, Daniel lowered his eyes, his voice even more strained: "Iโm apologizing on behalf of Mom. Donโt worry, Iโll have her clear your name. You couldnโt possibly do such a thing."
Bella shook her head; how could he possibly persuade Francesca Willis?
"Donโt involve yourself in this matter."
"Sis, could youโcould you show some mercy, considering sheโs your mother too?"
Hearing Bella telling him not to interfere, Daniel could guess a little. Bella must have already devised a plan.
Mason had always been against the Green Family, as he knew and understood that it was surely for his sisterโs sake.
If his sister hadnโt stopped him, it meant she had completely given up on the Green Family...
Bella didnโt respond to his words, her bright eyes gazing steadily at him.
That gaze was too clear for Daniel to meet; in the end, he could only lower his head.
A notification sound suddenly rang out on Bellaโs phone.
She glanced down at the message, her lips curling up, unlocked it, and opened the entertainment news homepage, then turned the phone screen towards Daniel.
