Chapter 793: Chapter 793: Mr. Jiang, are you sure you haven’t forgotten something before?

Although Bella Green had a bit of porridge at night, her mental state still wasn’t great.

However, to prevent Mason from worrying, she didn’t show it.

Downstairs, Bella Green knew that the porridge was made by Mark Manning.

Yet she didn’t expect that now it was past eight, and he hadn’t left.

Seeing her come down, Mark Manning greeted her with a smile.

Bella Green smiled back, knowing that Mason must have called Mark because he was worried about her.

"Sorry for troubling you, Dr. Manning," she said politely.

Mark Manning quickly waved his hand, smiling broadly as he said, "It’s my duty, my duty."

After speaking, he glanced at Mason, fearing that Mason might be dissatisfied and send him back to the traditional hospital.

He just wanted to be a carefree and merry psychologist.

After drinking a glass of water downstairs, Bella Green went back upstairs.

Mason followed her up closely.

Seeing Bella Green indeed okay and sleeping soundly, he went back downstairs.

Mark Manning was now nestled in the guest room’s small bed, playing games on his phone.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Mason walk in, which startled him so much that his hand shook, and he lost in the game...

Mark Manning tossed his phone aside with a frustrated look and then said.

"Miss Bella’s condition doesn’t seem to have any major issues. At most, she’s just stimulated and overly emotional for the moment, nothing serious."

Mason nodded, knowing Bella Green indeed didn’t need Mark Manning’s treatment.

Seeing this reaction, Mark Manning’s eyes shifted, quickly understanding Mason’s intent.

"I’m always ready, just waiting for your availability, Mr. Bennett."

Mason pressed his lips in silence, seemingly deep in thought.

"But, if you experience any new symptoms lately, you need to tell me. If they’re quite severe, hypnosis may not be suitable," Mark Manning warned.

"Just as before."

Mark Manning let out a breath of relief at this.

"Mr. Bennett, are you sure you haven’t forgotten anything previously? If the symptoms aren’t severe now and you want to continue sealing them with hypnosis, it’s possible, but if the symptoms get worse, it might be better to just remember it, so there’s no burden on your body."

Mason’s gaze turned cold and deep, shaking his head.

"No, my memory is complete; there are no gaps, those..."

He paused for a moment, continuing: "Perhaps it’s just the recent stress that’s too much; you just need to help me not think about it in the future, apart from that dream... there are no other symptoms."

Mark Manning didn’t say anything; he trusted that Mason understood it was just stress.

However, he knew Mason understood too, just unwilling to openly admit it.

"Alright then, the originally planned Monday, the date can’t be changed again. If it gets delayed further, I won’t perform hypnosis; it’s too risky."

"I know."

After Mason spoke, he left directly.

But he didn’t return to his room and instead went to his study.

Standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, quietly smoking.

He hadn’t told Mark Manning that now, he wasn’t just dreaming.

His memory was also having issues, during moments of trance, fragments of unfamiliar moments surfaced in his mind.

But indeed, he hadn’t experienced amnesia, his entire memory was intact.

Except...

He raised his hand to his stomach, his dark pupils growing even more obscure and unfathomable.

His illness. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

He had severe psychogenic anorexia, and each time it attacked, he would fall into periods of loss of control.

During those times, he virtually had no memory.

He merely knew of deep suffering, as if something in his mind was torturing him.

But upon returning to normalcy, he remembered nothing again.

Even he himself couldn’t understand why the illness occurred...
