Chapter 1726: Crimson Order Vampire Houses And Murim Alliance Sects

-----

After extracting every piece of information she could from the Immortal, she turned her attention to the Vampire Duchess. She learned in great detail about the Crimson Order and its ten families, each led by a powerful Family Head.

Vesperine was cooperative enough to provide a complete list of the families, not in any particular order, along with the name of each Family Head, their titles, and their family specializations.

House Virelac — Blood Memory & Ancestral Recall

Family Head: Matriarch Elzavira Virelac, known as The Archivist Queen

House Noctarion — Dreamwalking & Nightmare Craft

Family Head: Lord Somnareth Noctarion, called The Sleepless Dreamer

House Thornveil — Shadow Binding & Umbral Chains

Family Head: Dame Virelda Thornveil, known as The Chainmother

House Drazemir — Temporal Drain & Age Theft

Family Head: Patriarch Kaelthorn Drazemir, called The Clock-Eater

House Velcrith — Crimson Alchemy & Bloodforging

Family Head: Alchemist-Lord Varn Velcrith, known as The Hemoglyph

House Xarneth — Echoes & Voice Domination

Family Head: Sir Drazelith Xarneth, called The Tongue of Ruin

House Malrec — Bonecraft & Ossuary Dominion

Family Head: Duchess Calistra Malrec, known as The Ivory Regent

House Sarnovelle — Mistform & Atmospheric Control

Family Head: Lord Orren Sarnovelle, called The Breathless One

House Lucarion — Soul Siphon & Essence Binding

Family Head: High Seer Xarion Lucarion, known as The Lantern of Woe

House Orraveth — Mirrorwalking & Reflection Curse

Family Head: Lady Mireth Orraveth, called The Shardmother

Vesperine mentioned that her own house was likely among the strongest, though the exact ranking did not matter much.

Maria was genuinely impressed by their vast knowledge and diverse specializations. One family could even drain "time" from their victims.

Yet more than half of those abilities were powers she had already mastered herself, which made her curious whether they had discovered new applications or techniques for them.

Each Vampire Family followed a strict hierarchy: seven Dukes or Duchesses, four Archdukes or Archduchesses, and finally the Family Head.

Above them all stood a figure feared even by the Family Heads, a god-like vampire known simply as "The Crimson Emperor."

Vesperine had met him only once in her long life and had been forced to prostrate herself, unable even to lift her gaze to his face.

If a Family Head already possessed ridiculous power, the strength Vesperine described for the Crimson Emperor was simply beyond comprehension.

"It surpasses anything you can imagine," she said. "The Crimson Emperor’s very presence is what forces factions like Olympus and Thebes to treat us with caution instead of launching an all-out war to seize our territories."

She smiled at Maria. Though she could not defy her, deep down she was certain Maria would not survive what was coming.

Or so she believed with all her heart.

"You don’t know what you’ve done," Vesperine laughed. "I am a precious member of House Lucarion, unlike any other vampire you’ve faced! The Family Head visits once a year, and in exactly one week he will arrive at the Murim Alliance to oversee everything! He will come for you and tear you apart! You should run while you still have time, hahaha!"

"Oh, really?" Maria replied, her eyes glowing brightly. "That’s perfect! It means we can take down a Family Head right away, doesn’t it, everyone?"

"Yeah, that makes things convenient," Lucifer nodded.

"Once he’s dead, can I drink his blood too?" Partner asked.

"Ten families is a lot, but if they’re spread across the Tower, it might be doable," Emeraldine added.

"Y-You fools...! Don’t you understand?! Lord Xarion will kill you all! You cannot possibly match his power!" Vesperine shouted.

"Be quiet and tell me everything you know about his abilities, his weaknesses, his quirks—anything useful," Maria said with a sweet smile.

"Ugh, as if I would ever— Ack!" Vesperine gasped. "H-He... he has no obvious weakness, but he’s extremely lazy...! If the other Family Heads didn’t force him to act, he wouldn’t even lift a finger... ugh! Damn it!"

"I see, I see. Tell me more," Maria encouraged, still smiling.

Against her will, Vesperine revealed everything she knew.

A few hours later, once Maria and the others had gathered all the information they needed, they began planning their assault on the Murim Alliance.

To grow stronger and build their forces, they would not head straight for the High Heaven Sect in the Endless Grasslands.

Instead, they would target every sect along the way that belonged to the Murim Alliance and had taken part in the massacre of the Blood Demon Sect.

Those sects were:

- The Sunlight Mountain Sect

- The Glacial Mountain Sect

- The Iron Fist Sect

- The Poison Sect

- The Darkwood Sect

- The Nether Harbor Sect

- And finally, the newly established Vampire Sect

The Vampire Sect was the youngest yet already the strongest sect in Murim. Its members were primarily high-ranking vampires, with elders consisting of Dukes and even Archdukes.

Their sect master was none other than the Family Head of House Lucarion, who had not yet arrived but was expected in roughly eight days.

This sect had been created to integrate vampires fully into the Murim Alliance and to facilitate trade of resources between sects.

The Vampire Sect supplied the others with Blood Arts, Blood Beast Pills, Sanguine Relics, and more.

They even practiced "disciple exchange," where vampires and members of another sect would train together for years to share techniques and knowledge.

This was how Shadow Path Blood Arts and Blood Soul Arts had spread so widely.

Their first target would be the Glacial Mountain Sect, the closest one. Then they would move on to the Iron Fist Sect, the Sunlight Mountain Sect, the Poison Sect, and finally Darkwood and Nether Harbor.

The last two sat at the edge of the Thousand Mountains, bordering the Endless Grasslands, a region completely dominated by the Heavenly Palace Sect, which had absorbed countless smaller sects in the past.

The Vampire Sect’s headquarters lay on the Shrouded Island, perpetually covered in black clouds and mist, the perfect home for vampires who feared the sun.

The island floated in the seas between the Thousand Mountains Region and the Endless Grasslands Region. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

Yet that was not all. Maria learned that other major factions had also established sects in Murim, seeking to merge with local powers, acquire bloodlines and martial arts, and share their own magic, artifacts, weapons, and unique resources in return.

Currently, alongside the Crimson Order, three factions from Olympus had taken root: the Pantheon of War led by Ares, God of War; the Pantheon of Wisdom led by Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and War; and the Pantheon of Magecraft led by Hecate, Goddess of Curses and Magic.
