Chapter 1734: The Iron Fist Sect’s Challenge

-----

"I will take their burden. If you want to spill blood, fight me and kill me, but let them live," he said. "Make them your subordinates... but please, let them live."

"I am not the one who should decide this in the end..." Maria replied. "Our previous battle was quick because that idiot attacked us without hesitation. Wu Lieng, come forward."

Wu Lieng and his disciples stepped forward, Little Black looming behind them.

They stared at the Iron Fist Sect Master and his overwhelming Aura.

"Wu Lieng... So the rumors are true. You really aren’t dead," the Sect Master said. "And four disciples are still alive... I see. That explains why they’ve been causing so much trouble up there."

"Indeed..." Wu Lieng sighed.

A heavy, awkward silence stretched between them.

Then Wu Lieng sighed again.

"Fine..." he said. "Fine... let’s have that battle you mentioned."

"Truly? Thank you so much." The Sect Master bowed deeply to Wu Lieng.

"But I will fight too," Wu Lieng declared, stepping forward.

"Are you out of your mind?!" Maria snapped. "You’re not strong enough to face them yet..."

"I know, but... for my sect, I must fight," Wu Lieng said firmly. "Who was the one that came to my sect that day? I know it was one of you. Your Immortal Ki lingered in the ruins."

"..."

The three Immortals exchanged glances. The Sect Master himself stepped forward.

"I was forced against my will. The Heavenly Emperor said that if we didn’t destroy your sect, he would take my daughter."

"..."

Wu Lieng’s face twisted bitterly. He exhaled slowly.

Then he tore off his robes, revealing a suddenly powerful, muscular physique.

"Huh?!"

Maria and everyone else stared in stunned silence.

Heavenly Demon Ki surged through his body, his Bloodline fully awakened.

All the power he had accumulated throughout his life erupted like a volcano now that he was no longer crippled.

RUMBLE!

He radiated the strength of someone at the Nascent Soul Realm, his Aura surging with terrifying intensity...

But still not quite at the level of an Immortal.

Yet Wu Lieng spread his arms wide, assuming a powerful dragon stance: right arm forward, left arm behind, fingers curved like sharp fangs.

The Heavenly Yin Dragon Stance, one of the core forms of the Millenary Heavenly Demon Arts!

FLUOSH!

His Aura exploded. The skies rumbled. His Dream Spirit, the Heavenly Demon Shadow, emerged—a long, serpentine dragon formed of dark red and black energies.

"So this is the power of the Heavenly Demon’s son!"

The Iron Fist Sect Master immediately moved forward through the air, discarding his own robes. His fists glowed with Metal Ki as his skin took on an iron-like sheen.

"I see. So that’s what you want, old man," Maria nodded.

His four disciples and Little Black tried to intervene, but Wu Lieng raised a palm, stopping them cold.

"Don’t interfere, young ones. This is my battle to uphold the pride of the sect. If you step in, you will insult me as your master!"

"But...!"

"Master..."

"He’s too strong!"

"You’re going to die!"

They had no faith in him, and Wu Lieng couldn’t blame them.

He was indeed vastly outmatched in raw power.

And yet...

His face showed nothing but calm determination.

"Alright," the Iron Fist Sect Master said. "Who will face my son and daughter?"

"So they’re a family..." Maria nodded. "Hm... Arthur, Lucifer, you two go."

"What?! I want to fight too!" Partner complained.

"You’re too noisy, Partner. Sit down and watch," Maria reprimanded her. "Do you two accept?"

"Yes," Arthur nodded, stepping forward.

"Fine," Lucifer said.

Both advanced. Arthur faced the Sect Master’s daughter. Despite being the youngest, her talent for martial arts made her just as strong as her elder brother. Lucifer faced the confident-smiling elder brother.

"Very well. The rules are simple," Maria announced. "Whoever knocks out or kills their opponent first wins."

All three battles began simultaneously inside transparent Dimensional Bubbles Maria created instantly with her Void Magic. Everyone could watch the fights clearly from the sky.

"Fight!"

Maria swung her hand down. The three battles erupted at once.

FLAAASH!

Explosions of Immortal Ki burst from the Iron Fist Family. They held nothing back; the fate of their sect rested on these duels.

They immediately unleashed their Martial Sense, spreading their Consciousness like a Domain.

At the same time, they summoned their Martial Souls—guardians appearing behind them as titans of stone, steel, and crystal in various shapes.

A heartbeat later, all three Immortals charged, unleashing a storm of punches, kicks, and techniques.

They went all-out from the very first second!

RUMBLE!

All three bubbles shook violently. The spectators watched in awe.

Lucifer easily blocked the punches from the Eldest Brother of the Iron Fist Family. This time he used a hybrid form instead of his full dragon shape—the same compact form his daughter had mastered and taught him. After just one day of training, he had grasped it perfectly, unleashing nearly his full draconic power in a much smaller, denser body.

White scales shimmered beneath his White Flames. His fists glowed with metallic white scales, claws tearing through the Elder Brother’s iron-like skin and slicing fingers apart. The Elder Brother refused to yield, charging forward as his Martial Soul manifested—a giant rhinoceros of stone with a long metallic horn.

He clashed against Lucifer, pushing him back again and again. Lucifer struggled but saw the path ahead. His Aura exploded. His scythe materialized. One swing sliced clean through the Immortal’s Martial Soul, temporarily destroying it.

At the same time, he kicked the man’s face repeatedly, whipped him with his tail, then hardened his scales to their limit on his fist and pummeled face, chest, shoulders, legs, and groin until the Immortal’s body was a broken, bloody mess.

"Ngaaaahhh!"

The scream of agony echoed across the sky as the Elder Brother collapsed, bleeding profusely, most of his bones shattered.

Meanwhile, Arthur’s radiant, multicolored aura blazed majestically as he clashed against the woman before him, making the world tremble with every strike. The youngest daughter of the Iron Fist Immortal Family specialized in kicks.

Her leg muscles were extraordinarily developed. Her kicks were devastating. She danced as she spun, ran, and avoided Arthur’s spear strikes. Her body shimmered with colorful crystals that fired beams of explosive light, bombarding Arthur relentlessly.

Yet Arthur countered swiftly, combining multiple elements into his blazing palms, pushing her back and shaking her Meridians.
