Reborn As A Ghost: Time To Build My Undead Army!-Chapter 1794: Solving Things Quickly

"{Dual Spiritual Dream Dominion: Endless Oceans and Frozen Glaciers}!"
SPLAAASH!
"Nnngh?!
"Aaaaggh!"
Both Blazing Gods screamed as their Domains shattered. They plunged into an endless sea of freezing water, their divinities swiftly suppressed.
Within this Dominion, Alma and Celes descended like sea serpents, coiled in ice and water. They pierced the gods’ chests and killed them instantly.
BOOOMMM!!!
The Dominion erupted into a massive shockwave. The two dead gods crashed to the ground, their master’s face twisting from shock to raw horror.
"W-Wha...! How did you even...?! You’re gods?! You’re gods like me! No! How?! Where did you come from?! How can gods go against other gods?!"
"You believe gods are some kind of species? Anyone can become a god!"
"Wha...?!"
Cercyon panicked as Jonathan appeared behind him, glowing sword descending. The god swung his hammer upward in a desperate clash, unleashing a shockwave of flames and light.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
They exchanged blows rapidly, but Cercyon was clearly inexperienced in martial arts. Jonathan out speeded and overpowered him at every turn, predicting each strike with ease.
"Unlike those who suffer and fall into evil, you were born with everything, right? Nothing comes more naturally to you than cruelty toward those beneath you!"
"WHA...?!"
CLAAASH!
"Ngh?!"
Cercyon vomited blood, glaring at Jonathan with pure fury. His blazing aura surged into a colossal hammer that struck the hero.
"AND SO WHAT?! EVERYONE SHOULD PROSTRATE BEFORE THE GODS OF OLYMPUS!"
BOOOM!
The hammer slammed Jonathan downward in a blazing explosion.
Cercyon laughed maniacally and charged after him.
"Why should I feel sorry for being born a god? Why should I value these lowly crystal creatures?! They’re nothing but resources! My father and grandfather always say if you want something, you seize it at any cost. It is our right as the strongest!"
"Not anymore."
Jonathan’s body erupted with radiant light. His skin and armor fused together, transforming him into a metallic figure of gold and pure luminescence. His hair grew long and shining, overflowing with the power of Holy Light and Dreams.
His sword vanished, merging into him to achieve "Dream Weapon Fusion"—a rare transformation granted only to those who had truly mastered their Dream Weapons.
The weapon did not disappear; the wielder became the weapon itself.
"W-What is this pressure—AAACK!"
Cercyon screamed as Jonathan’s blinding light scorched his skin. He stared in disbelief as a gigantic sword of light descended toward him.
"W-WAIT...! WAAAAIT!"
He resisted with everything he had, swinging his blazing hammer and channeling his divine aura.
"I get it now! I was wrong! I’ll tell my dad we can leave this place! D-Don’t kill me! Please don’t kill meeeeee!"
But Jonathan’s eyes glowed with unrelenting brilliance.
"I am a bringer of justice. The irredeemably wicked, whose very nature is cruelty... deserve no second chance. At least not while they still live."
SLAAASH!
"GAAAAAHHHH!"
Cercyon’s agonized scream echoed as his body was cleaved in two. Both halves exploded moments later. His soul suffered catastrophic damage, trembling and shattering into countless fragments.
BOOOMMM!!!
The attack struck the processing plant as well, causing it to collapse and detonate in the sky. Below, countless Gemmetrians witnessed the scene. They began to cheer, leaping and waving their tiny arms in joy.
Jonathan returned to his original form, sighing deeply as he sheathed his blade.
"I might have overdone it," he murmured.
"That was amazing!" Maria exclaimed. "You completely stole the show, haha!"
"Hey, I wanted to kill him!" Partner complained.
"Well, it was only one guy. Jonathan got to him first," Arthur said with a shrug.
"Maria... can you?" Jonathan asked quietly.
"Sure," Maria replied, snapping her fingers.
The three recently slain gods gasped back to life, clutching at the air in confusion.
"W-What...?!" Cercyon stammered, looking around wildly. "I-I was just split in two...! That was so traumatizing!"
"Uuugh..."
"Lord Cercyon...?"
The other two gods tried to approach, but Cercyon groaned and kicked at them, calling them useless.
"You useless maggots! I died because you couldn’t protect me—UGH?!"
An invisible force instantly restrained him, preventing any further cruelty toward his own bodyguards.
"Enough is enough, Cercyon," Maria said firmly. "You’re joining my ranks now, whether you like it or not."
"Wha... What?! You think I’ll happily join your pathetic little—Ngh! Aaagh! Okay, okay! I get it!" Cercyon screamed in pain. "So I didn’t die then? Was that an illusion?! Am I enslaved somehow?"
"It was not an illusion," Jonathan stated.
"AAAAGH!" Cercyon shrieked upon seeing him.
"As he said," Maria said, patting Cercyon’s broad shoulders. "You died. I used my Necromancy to turn you into a zombie. Welcome."
"N-Necromancy—Ahh! No way...!" Cercyon wailed. "So this is...! You must be Maria! The woman everyone on the Upper Floors is talking about! To think this is my luck..."
"Oh? Am I popular?" Maria asked with interest.
"Popular?! Everyone wants you dead!" Cercyon laughed bitterly. "And you’ll die eventually! You can’t possibly stand against Olympus, Thebes, and Umbralheim all at once! Are you insane?! Heheh...! It doesn’t matter. My father will find you, and he, Zeus, and everyone else will kill you and free me!"
"Hmm," Maria nodded calmly. "Bark like a dog."
"Awwooo! Woof! Woof—Ngh?! What?!" Cercyon cried out.
"Act like a dog from now on," Maria said, patting his head.
"Haa! Woof, woof!" Cercyon barked, tongue lolling out.
Inside, his mind writhed in horror and humiliation as he was forced to obey.
"What a terrible dog you are," Maria laughed. "Come on! Fetch!"
She tossed a disk formed of phantasmal flames. When Cercyon caught it, his mouth exploded.
Maria restored him and repeated the process dozens of times.
"Now come back to normal," she said, snapping her fingers.
"Aaaagh! You’re...! You’re the worst!" he screamed.
"Still not enough? Okay," Maria replied. "Dominion."
TRUUUM!
Darkness swallowed everything. In that instant, Cercyon beheld the "truth" of what Maria truly was.
His eyes wept black blood. Madness overtook him. He laughed and screamed about "the mother of sorrow."
Afterward, Maria repaired the processing plant and the other machines. She sent them, along with Cercyon and his two gods, into her Soul Realm.
She instructed them to share all their knowledge with the Thebans already there.
"And it’s done," Maria said, cleansing her hands. "No level up from that, huh? Well, whatever."
"What are we doing with the soul stones? They’ve been reduced to dust," Jonathan asked with a sigh.
"Maybe we can take them?" Nyx suggested.
"No, dear. These belong to these people. They’re the remains of their kin," Maria answered. "We’ll return them to the craters where they were stolen."
With a wave of her hands, Maria’s telekinetic power poured the soul stones and ground dust back into place. Then, using her abilities, she forced the dust to recrystallize.
They no longer resembled flowers. Instead, sharp spears jutted from the earth. She wasn’t particularly skilled with Earth Magic, after all.
