Chapter 1874: I Am Lady Emilia! Ohohoho!

-----

"Thirty!"

"Forty!"

"F-Fifty! I want the little one!"

"No, I saw her first! Seventy!"

"Give me the one with red hair—she has a face that screams she must be corrected! Hehehe! A hundred for her!"

The nobles roared and bickered, bidding furiously to purchase the orc women as if they were mere objects.

A powerful killing intent radiated from Maria’s entire body. With the slightest flick of her hand, every one of these repulsive men could die instantly.

Yet for Julia’s sake, she held back.

"Maria... please calm down," Julia’s small hand rested on her shoulder. Maria gave a silent nod. "Until things begin, we need to stay low and avoid drawing suspicion."

"I know..." Maria muttered. "But even so, I can barely stand watching this... If I have to pretend to be one of these nobles, then..."

She stepped forward. Her serious expression vanished, replaced by an exaggerated laugh as she kicked a noble aside, sending him sprawling with a scream.

"W-Who the hell are you—Angh!"

"Ohohohoho! Who dares start selling such wonderful products without my presence?!"

Maria pressed her heel against the old man’s mouth. Far from displeased, he moaned lewdly while peering up beneath her dress.

She quickly withdrew her foot. He crawled away; his face still twisted in perverse delight.

Channeling the power of Lilith through her Archdemon Spirit, Maria unleashed a tremendous Charming Aura.

"W-Who are you?!"

"Is she a new noble?"

"Isn’t she too young?!"

"Wait, she’s so pretty though..."

"From which family is she?!"

Julia watched in stunned silence, not daring to interrupt whatever insane plan Maria was executing.

"You think those pitiful prices mean anything?! I shall purchase all seven of them for one billion gold!"

With a snap of her fingers, Maria opened her inventory—disguised as a storage device—and poured an enormous cascade of gold across the floor.

"A-Ah...! S-Sold! Sold to the black-haired young lady!" the white-haired auctioneer gasped, eyes wide with shock. "W-Will you be paying up front, lady... Um, what is your name?"

"I am Emilia Desperado!" Maria declared, producing a fan and waving it gracefully. Both men and women swooned at her beauty. "I come from a humble noble house, but we recently struck it rich, discovering a vast deposit of Orichalcum in one of our mountains! We also own a large village of enslaved dwarves who have been diligently mining our endless new fortune!"

"Oh wow!"

"Incredible!"

"How fortunate...!"

"We must make connections with such a wealthy house at once!"

"O-Orichalcum?! The rarest metal in the world?!"

"And the strongest there is!"

Countless nobles swarmed toward Maria, desperate to forge ties. She smiled sweetly and conversed with astonishing dexterity and cunning, building alliances in mere minutes.

While this unfolded, the seven orc women approached her. The seller scooped up the gold, verified its authenticity with alchemists, and stored it in various devices.

"Here they are, your new slaves, Lady Emilia," the seller said, handing her a control ring. "With this, you can command them and punish them if they ever dare disobey. They’re yours to enjoy."

"Tha... thank you," Maria replied, nearly losing her composure and kicking his head clean off. "By any chance, are you selling more slaves?"

"Why yes! All the slavers are holding several events throughout the building—"

"Tell me where they are right now," Maria said. A brief red gleam flashed in her eyes before she offered a gentle smile. "I loooove collecting slaves, you see? I love... em, forcing them to do things they don’t want and... uh, touching them."

"I-I see...!" The man nodded, visibly confused but eager. "I-I can guide you to the various locations..."

"Good. Do that!" Maria nodded. "Girls, come with me."

"..."

The orc warriors exchanged bewildered glances. Unlike the leering old pigs they had expected, their buyer was a spoiled-looking child.

Yet deep down, they heard a voice whisper directly into their minds. Maria was using Telekinesis to speak to them alone.

"I am on your side. Don’t say a word and pretend you’re angry at me."

The orc women’s eyes widened, but they stayed silent, forcing frowns and baring sharp fangs to appear menacing.

"Good. Once I purchase all the other slaves, I will set you free."

Their eyes widened again, stunned by the promise.

Just what kind of impossibly wealthy noble would go this far to help them out of nowhere?

"Why?" asked the tallest orc—a striking warrior with a large scar across her chest and long red hair tied in a ponytail. She wore an ill-fitting red dress and painful heels that hurt her feet. "Why are you helping us for no reason? Who are you exactly?"

"A friend," Maria’s voice echoed warmly in their hearts. "Please believe me." 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

"We can’t really do anything else even if we tried..."

"The collars suppress our Fighting Spirit and our Auras. We can’t even use our strength."

"We... are powerless."

"But if what you say is true," the presumed leader continued, "then... if you truly free us all... we will never forget your kindness."

"It’s nothing. I hate this—all of it. Tonight we will destroy everything," Maria said. "You will have front-row seats to the show. Enjoy it."

The orcs allowed themselves faint, hopeful smiles, sensing the immense power radiating from Maria.

Over the next hour, Maria moved from event to event, buying more than two hundred slaves in total.

These were the captured survivors of the Empire of Light’s raid on the Green Fang Tribe of Orcs—a peaceful people who had lived quietly in the Northern Rocky Steppes.

Maria shared her plan with every one of them. Once they understood, the slave market’s owner summoned her to express his gratitude for her massive purchases.

"Truly, I am speechless. We have never seen anyone as generous as you, young Lady Emilia," the grossly overweight man with a short gray mustache giggled, offering her wine. "I hope your family and I can continue doing business together!"

"Of course!" Maria nodded, sipping the wine. "I would LOVE to do all kinds of BUSINESS with you, my lord... if you know what I mean?"

She subtly adjusted her dress, revealing a glimpse of her bosom to the lecherous old man.

His eyes bulged. He began to drool.

"M-My young lady... It seems you are sharper than I imagined... good choice, heheh..."

As they sat drinking together, the man stared hungrily at her chest while Maria gently massaged his leg.

"Do you like me, my lord?"

"I-I... you’re incredibly beautiful, and such a wonderful customer...! If you ever allowed me to... touch your graceful body, I could give you the world."

"Fufu, is that so? Then go ahead. While the Emperor is still not here, let us enjoy the time we have together."

"Ohoho!"

The man began groping her, kissing her chest and lips, their tongues intertwining as he rubbed himself against her dress like a pathetic dog.

"Oohoooo! Lady Emilia! Lady Emiliaaaaagh!"

Of course, it was only a vivid dream. In reality, he was humping a cushion like a mindless chihuahua in heat.
