Reborn as a Transcendent-Chapter 700Book 3: : Yae-hime’s Arrangements, Lili’s Whereabouts
“Yes!” Aurora answered immediately. Even if she didn’t have time, as long as Princess asked, she would find a way, no matter what.
Fiat nodded, indicating he felt the same as his sister.
“Excellent.” Yae-hime smiled calmly. “What I’m asking of you is actually quite simple. I’ve already mentioned the epidemic issue earlier. I’d like Aurora to help with some inscription work on the containers. As for you, Fiat, your job is to protect Aurora and the related personnel. Is that alright?”
The siblings quickly processed her request and nodded almost in unison.
“Very good. Later, head to Aoma Village and find the village chief’s daughter, Angelica. She’ll make the arrangements for you.”
“Got it, Princess!” Aurora replied cheerfully. She hadn’t expected to be useful so soon, her heart was filled with joy.
“Understood! I will not disappoint you!!” Fiat had always wanted to repay his debt. Now that he finally had the chance to do something for his benefactor, he was filled with energy.
After chatting with the siblings for a while, Yae-hime left the commoners’ district.
Beneath the same sky, within the Imperial Magic Academy’s Sage Tower…
“Lady Allie doesn’t seem to be in a good mood lately.”
“Yeah, maybe it’s because of that Black-hearted Princess business.”
“Now that you mention it, what exactly did the Black-hearted Princess do to become a national fugitive?”
“No idea, but it couldn’t have been anything good.”
Two beautiful receptionists chatted as they stepped onto a circular stone platform. One of them pressed her foot onto a gem on the left side, used to activate upward movement.
The next moment, the platform began to rise steadily.
Just then, the space around them started to ripple unnaturally. Yet neither of them noticed a thing.
When the platform reached the designated floor, they stopped it and stepped off toward the reception desk. Throughout the whole ride, neither had noticed the subtle distortions in their surroundings.
Inside the research lab… Allie sat on her bed, her mood rather sour. Though, compared to yesterday, she was in slightly better spirits.
“That b̲a̲s̲t̲a̲r̲d̲ Richard seriously needs a beating.” Clenching her fist lightly, Allie stared coldly ahead. If her strength had recovered, she would’ve stormed the palace by now. “If anything happens to my Princess, I’ll make you pay!”
While Richard was conducting a search in the outer district, Allie had remained unaware. It wasn’t until later that she sensed some residual spiritual fluctuations. And then came the news: Princess was now wanted across the entire city. Only then did she piece everything together. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
**Clink clink!**
Suddenly, a crisp chime echoed inside the room. It was the doorbell she had set up.
“Who’s there?” Allie looked toward the stone door and asked. But there was no response. After a few seconds, the bell rang again.
“Heh. Trying to provoke me at a time like this?” With a cold sneer, Allie stepped down from the bed and blinked to the doorway. She had already decided to give whoever was outside a brutal beating to vent her anger.
The stone door slowly opened. Subtle ripples distorted the space around her. Such changes could never escape Allie’s perception. She slammed the stone door shut and unleashed a terrifying aura from within.
‘Using magic right in front of me? Courting death!’
Crackling lightning surged in Allie’s left hand, gathering with lethal intensity as she prepared to strike the source of the spatial disturbance.
“Is this how you always greet people?” Before the words even finished, a beautiful figure stepped out from the void.
The moment Allie got a clear look, she froze, stunned and disbelieving. Then, the lightning in her hand slowly dissipated.
“Why are you still in the city?” she asked at last.
“I snuck back in,” Yae-hime replied with a smile.
“Have you lost your mind? Do you even understand how dangerous your situation is?” Allie scolded her with a stern expression.
“I know,” Yae-hime nodded. “But I had to come back.”
Hearing this, Allie’s heart instantly raced, her face flushing slightly as she asked, “You came back… for me?”
Yae-hime felt there was some ambiguity in those words, but it was true that one of her reasons for returning was to treat Allie’s illness.
“Mm.” After a brief pause, she nodded.
“That’s really dangerous, you know. You’re impossible sometimes.” Despite saying that, Allie’s heart brimmed with sweetness.
“Has anything changed in the city lately?” Yae-hime, unaware of Allie’s inner thoughts, quickly moved to the matter that concerned her most.
“Things are more or less the same as usual. As for the palace… I don’t really know.” Allie shook her head. Her intelligence network only covered the outer districts and parts of the inner district. The palace was outside her reach.
“I see.” Yae-hime lightly pressed her cherry lips together, as though she had expected that answer.
“Yeah, I don’t have a dedicated intel network, so it’s hard to get anything from there. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help,” Allie said with a tinge of guilt.
“It’s fine.” Yae-hime shook her head. “It’s just that I’ve been short on useful information lately. That aside, has Lili come to see you?”
Compared to intel about the palace, she was more interested in Lili’s whereabouts. There were two reasons for this. First, she wanted to know how things were progressing with Alicia. Second, if possible, she wanted to meet Alicia in person and see if there was anything she could help with.
Right now, only Lili knew where Alicia was.
Allie shook her head gently. “No, we haven’t seen each other in a while.”
“Is that so…” Yae-hime sounded a little disappointed.
“When I see Lili next, I’ll tell her to find you,” Allie said.
“Mm, I’ll leave it to you.”
“It’s getting late, let’s begin.” Allie naturally began to take off her clothes.
Seeing this, Yae-hime was momentarily caught off guard.
‘You’re seriously just stripping like that!?’
While it was true that her purpose here was to treat Allie’s illness, she hadn’t even brought up the subject yet, and the other party was already undressing… It really felt like she wasn’t being treated like an outsider at all.
Within seconds, Allie looked like a newborn, her silvery hair cascading down like a waterfall, covering the forbidden curves of her chest. In that state, she was undoubtedly more alluring than being completely nude! Even Yae-hime found herself briefly dazed.
“Do you like what you see?” Allie asked with a smile. A deep flush tinted her face, but it didn’t feel like it came from embarrassment.
If Yae-hime had to guess, she’d never believe that expression was born of shyness.
“You’re beautiful. Let’s get started,” Yae-hime replied, pretending not to notice anything as she walked to the bedside. In her heart, she silently vowed, ‘Once the treatment’s done, I’m out of here!’
Allie lay obediently on the bed, her crimson eyes staring intently at Yae-hime. It felt as though she were trying to see through her completely.
Yae-hime chose to ignore the gaze. Her pupils suddenly turned emerald green, and a glowing green needle appeared in her hand. Then, the needles rained down like a storm, striking the vital points on Allie’s body with perfect precision.
She sealed away the virus and the mutating energy within her, drawing them out bit by bit.
“Next part’s going to hurt. Brace yourself.” Soon after, Yae-hime finished the needlework. She pressed one hand against Allie’s flat lower abdomen, her eyes glowing green once more.
At the same time, Allie felt a surge of indescribable pain shoot through her entire body. It was as if tens of thousands of ants were biting her all at once, or like she was being gnawed at by an uncountable swarm of poisonous insects and venomous snakes. The sensation was utterly unbearable!
