Reborn as Mr.CEO's Fat Wife-Chapter 965: Moll Scott, Come Home with Me
Chapter 965: Chapter 965: Moll Scott, Come Home with Me
Mia Anderson’s shout finally brought the two people in the bedroom back to their senses.
David Locke pressed his brow again, realizing how easily this woman in front of him could sway his emotions.
Mary Scott got up worriedly, collecting her earlier emotions, and turned to David, "The reporters are here, you should hide for now so they don’t find you."
If the reporters found David still with her at this moment, who knows what kind of trouble it could cause. It would be nearly impossible to clear it up later. Mary’s intentions were for David’s sake, but the man next to her did not appreciate her words.
David gave her a cold glance, took out his phone, and dialed a number. In no time, the noise outside disappeared.
Mary, who was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan, didn’t know whether to praise the man’s calm composure or the hotel’s quick handling.
But even though the reporters were temporarily driven away, the problem had to be faced. Mary pressed her dry lips, "Although the reporters have been cleared, I’ve been exposed, and more might sneak in later. You should go back first."
David glanced at Mary, trying to discern something from her eyes. But she spoke with her head down, like looking at a diamond that had fallen to the ground, and took a deep breath, "Hmm, you come back with me."
Mary looked up suddenly, seeming not to understand the meaning behind David’s words.
Seeing her expression, David ground his back molars, "If I leave you now, I’ll be accused of being unfaithful and unmanly even if I’m not implicated, so come home with me now."
Mary watched David’s back without moving.
As David walked ahead, not hearing any movement from Mary, he turned back with cold eyes, "Do I have to carry you?"
Mary shook her head but still didn’t move. Ever since David had rushed into the hotel room, half of her past grievances had dissipated. She knew how rare it was for a man of his temperament to say something like "Even if the sky falls, I’m here with you." So even though he said a lot of nonsense later, she knew in her heart that he cared about her.
But the more it was like this, the more Mary didn’t want to be a burden to him.
Her father’s situation was too influential and couldn’t be easily resolved with PR, nor could it be. It was something she had to bear as Constance Scott’s daughter.
David guessed her decision when Mary didn’t move, feeling irritated, "Moll Scott, I’m telling you one more time, come home with me."
"Dobbin Locke, remember you owe me something? I’ve made up my mind now." Mary was not scared by David’s bluster. When she saw Charlotte Leigh appear in the live broadcast, she had a premonition of trouble, which turned out to be true. At first, Mary was panicked, shocked, lost, anxious, terrified, and desperate. But from the moment David pulled her up, her rationality gradually returned, even calmer than ever.
She would bear what she had to, but she couldn’t drag David into it.
It’s not only out of love but also responsibility.
After spending these days together, she knew this man was hard-mouthed but soft-hearted, always saying one thing and meaning another. The hurt from when he had walked away from Grace Rachel’s company faded, only to be replaced by a new kind of pain.
In her third year of high school, she had already experienced this once, and she hadn’t expected to go through it again after so many years.
Who said being dumped is painful? Sometimes, the one who brings it up is actually more pained.
After hearing Mary’s words, David stared at her with an intense gaze, already having a guess, with an even colder presence around him. He looked at Mary, his voice thin but deadly, "Moll Scott, think carefully before speaking. Once you open your mouth, there might not be a chance to take it back. I could accept you a second time, not necessarily a third."
His words were like a sharp knife thrust into Mary’s heart. She knew he had already guessed what she was going to say. Clenching her palms tightly, she ignored David’s words, "Last time, you asked how I could forgive you, and I told you to let it pass. Now I’ve decided, as long as you agree to leave..."
"Moll Scott, don’t you dare! Say those two words too much, and they become real!" David interrupted her, hiding his anger.
Of course, Mary understood, but what could she do? Compared to his future, what did she count for? She fixed her eyes on David, "I know, Dobbin Locke, I’m not acting out or being impulsive, I’m calmly asking you for a divorce now...ugh..."
The last word hadn’t left her mouth when the man in front suddenly pulled her roughly, crashing her head onto his hard chest, peppering Mary with stars of pain. But before she could collect herself, David’s big hand clamped her chin, forcing her face up, and his head lowered to bite her lips harshly.
David didn’t hold back at all, using all his strength. Soon, a sweet and metallic taste filled both of their mouths.
Mary wrinkled her face tightly in pain, her small hands patting David’s chest, trying to break free from his control, but it only made David grip tighter, causing her even more pain.
"Ugh, it hurts... bastard, let go of me ugh..." Mary’s mouth and chin hurt so much her scalp tingled. Struggling in her mouth, she hit David’s chest even harder, while feeling that the man in front seemed to want to chew her down like a bone.
Outside, Mia Anderson heard the commotion inside, unclear of the situation, and worriedly leaned to the door, "Mary, Director Locke, are you okay?"
After speaking, Mia tried to push the door open, but upon hearing the noise, David suddenly voiced, "Get out!"
Mia was so frightened she backed away, inadvertently pulling the bedroom door shut.
Meanwhile, Mary took deep breaths once she had a moment’s respite, intending to call for help, but the man’s large hand quickly covered her mouth.
Frustrated, Mary bit down hard.
David groaned in pain, pulled his hand back, and saw the marks left on it. He smirked coldly, "Pretty wild."
"Wild your mother... ugh..." Before Mary could finish cursing, David had kissed her lips again, his eyes carrying a warning.
Mary instantly cowered, reaching to push against David’s chest, muffling protests escaping her mouth. But quickly, she noticed something by lowering her gaze.
Curious, Mary followed the man’s line of sight, and her face blushed red. How could she forget she was wrapped in a hotel towel?
Thinking back to when Mia entered, she had tightened the towel, but the subsequent series of events made her forget. Now, after several struggles, the towel loosened, barely hanging on, threatening to fall with any larger movement.
Mary had forgotten the pain in her lips, tensing her body, no longer daring to move, worried about exposure at such a time.
Yet as she stilled, the man forcing a kiss on her also stopped, freeing her lips, his voice revealing mischief he couldn’t hide, "Why don’t you keep moving?"
Mary took a deep breath, glaring at her damaged and swollen lips and then at the man.
David let out a sneer, his large hand resting on her waist, his gaze scanning the fullness in front of her with an unreadable expression, "Moll Scott, how dare you mention divorce at such a time while still seducing me?"
"I wasn’t seducing you!" Mary bristled instantly, but speaking only made her small mouth hurt. Her eyes, filled with mist, trembled, making one’s heart quiver.
David chuckled, a long finger hooking the loosely hanging towel, letting it drop away to reveal Mary’s lush and perfect curves to the open air.
Mary shrank back, reaching to grab the towel, but the man’s single hand held it out of reach. Only a corner remained to shield crucial areas, leaving her face flushed with both embarrassment and anger, "Dobbin Locke, you pervert!"
David’s tongue licked his back molars, the heat in his eyes making Mary’s heart race. She unconsciously swallowed, retreating a step while tightening the towel. Her flustered attempt to cover up amused David, who let out a low hum, suddenly stepping forward and pushing her onto the large hotel bed behind her, "Trying to divorce me? Please me first, then we’ll talk."
Mary was thrown back onto the bed, her eyes wide with disbelief, hardly able to comprehend that this man could say something so shameless!
But her reaction seemed to lighten David’s dire mood slightly, as he licked his lips, "What? Weren’t you just so noble, willing to sacrifice yourself to not drag me down? And now you’re unwilling to fulfill this small request?"
Mary trembled all over in rage, while the standing man maliciously stepped on a corner of the towel on the ground, deterring her struggles. She could only stare at him fiercely, "Dobbin Locke, don’t go too far. Since you know I’m doing this for your good, why treat me this way?"
"For my good? Then just please me first?" David asked with a raised eyebrow.
Mary was stunned. She had witnessed this man’s flirtatious antics before, but at such a time, for him to still be in the mood for this? And was that even a humanly thing to say?
Even someone as recently thick-skinned as Mary started feeling heat creep over her entire body because of David’s words. Her beautiful eyes were both surprised and panicked, "Don’t do anything rash. There might still be reporters outside, the PR firm is waiting for my call, and your leg can’t... ugh..."
Before Mary could finish, David suddenly extended his hand, two fingers sliding into her little mouth, blocking her next words.
The move, both rough and unexpected, made Mary’s sore mouth hurt even more, angrily glaring at David. The man leisurely sat by her side, the other large hand gripping her slender waist, tracing downwards.
Now, Mary didn’t need her mouth covered; she knowingly bit her lips, only to bite down on David’s fingers. At the sound of the pained groan from the man beside her, her senses unexpectedly heightened. She turned slightly, her tear-filled eyes pleadingly looking at David, "Ugh, don’t be like this..."
Before she finished speaking, the man covered her mouth tighter, stopping any coherent sound, leaving only whimpers.
David, however, grew more excessive, the other hand storming in as if laying siege, making Mary arch her waist uncomfortably. She recalled their nights of intimacy, feeling resigned, her eyes pleading for help. Unable to make a sound, she gently rubbed her head against David’s arm, seeking mercy.
Seeing her like this, David withdrew his hand, observing the person half-curled in his arms, "Thought it through?"
Mary, distressed, coughed a bit, her voice hoarse, "I..."
"Speak clearly, or you won’t leave this room," David warned, not waiting for Mary to finish.
Mary, thinking of the man’s earlier wicked demeanor, shivered, "I... I’ll go back with you."
"Back where?" David did not relent.
Mary, her eyes like a deer’s, filled with dissatisfaction’s mist, "Back to Rose Valley."
"Say where again?" David asked coldly.
Mary paused, her gaze landing on the man’s handsome visage, tentatively saying, "Back... home."
With these two words, Mary noticeably felt the man’s cold aura dissipate greatly beside her, her heart wavering slightly. Lowly repeating to herself, it was home.
But just as she exhaled, David’s gaze fell back onto her lips, and Mary protested, "Didn’t I agree to go home with you?"
"Yes, but let’s handle one thing at a time." After saying that, David leaned down.
Mary panicked, "But the news..."
"Since it can’t be whitewashed for now, why bother?" David, in a careless manner, said and bowed down to capture Mary’s lips, swollen from his bites.
As her consciousness began to fade, Mary noticed the colorful lights outside the window, realizing it had long since turned dark. Reaching back to push the man behind her, "Dobbin Locke, your leg..."
"Won’t cripple me," was the man’s usual slovenly remark in response, and there was even a hint of satisfaction leftover. Mary heard it all in a haze, soon losing consciousness.
Meanwhile, Mia Anderson was growing restless outside.
Even as naive as she was, she knew what was happening inside. Her face, aged like a woman past her prime, blushed with embarrassment. She stayed far from the bedroom, waiting until 11 PM with no sign of the two coming out. Not daring to call the front desk for food, afraid reporters with ill intent might sneak in.
Staying up into the night, Mia eventually succumbed to sleepiness, curling up on the sofa and falling asleep. As she drifted off, she couldn’t help but Tsukkomi to herself, these two really have nerve.
Next day.
When Mary woke up, it was already broad daylight. Given what happened yesterday, she expected to have been sleepless all night, but she fell asleep without a single dream. Lying in bed, she played possum for a while before finally opening her eyes, seeing the spot beside her empty. Sitting up dumbfounded, she felt a chill and hurriedly retreated under the covers, vexed, cursing hoarsely. Just as she prepared to find clothes to put on, the bedroom door opened.
She quickly burrowed further into the covers, only to see Mia walk in with a steaming bowl of porridge. Seeing her awake, Mia teased with a glance, "Sis, no need to hide. I saw everything, pretty intense in here. Didn’t expect Director Locke to be so determined, impressive!"
Mary, "..."
"Shut up!" Mary threw a pillow over.
Mia dodged to one side, "Mary, you’re just getting angry out of embarrassment." ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
Mary glared at Mia.
Worried she might really be angry, Mia withdrew her teasing expression, placing the porridge on the bedside table next to Mary, "Eat it while it’s hot. You must be starving, right? Luckily, Director Locke ordered food early this morning, or you’d have never seen your dear assistant again."
Thinking back to last night, where David’s machinations knocked her out cold, cleanly forgetting about Mia, made Mary’s cheeks blush. She tried hiding back under the covers again.
Mia, however, placed a clean set of clothes beside her, "Director Locke had them brought over for you to change into."
Only then did Mary remember, "Where is he?"
