Reborn: I'll Never Fail My Childhood Sweetheart Again-Chapter 247 - 110: Provoking Public Outrage, the Artsy Guy Gets Beat Up! (Part 2)
Unfortunately, the biggest target, Ding Linna, wasn't interested.
He thought this prettiest and best-shaped girl in the club was seeking thrills, so he tried to pick up a pen like Su Zelin while driving, but Nanaz was even more disgusted and complained to the slacker.
Now that this freshman boy has just returned, he steals all the limelight, and Di Sishao is really annoyed.
"Just whining, pretending to be artsy for the sake of being artsy!"
The literary guy said sourly.
This kind of rant made several literary girls unhappy.
Though Di Sishao had some literary talent, they unanimously thought he was still a bit behind compared to Su Zelin.
"Senior Brother Di, you can't say that. I think Su Zelin's words are quite profound!"
"That's right, his words are not just whining, especially the recent interpretation of first love, which I find extremely relatable; it's many people's life insights!"
"Senior Brother Di, your words are too harsh. We are all club members; how can you maliciously hurt others?"
"..."
Di Sishao felt a bit conceited, thinking that with Su Zelin absent a few times, he was now the lead; jealousy made him lose reason, and he uttered some untactful words, which immediately made him besieged by the group of literary girls.
These literary girls had long been little fangirls of the slacker, how could they tolerate anyone disparaging their idol.
Su Zelin coughed lightly: "Don't blame Senior Brother Di. I indeed have limited ability; many words were learned from books."
Even so, the slacker was secretly enjoying it.
Well, that's right, you guys just roast him hard!
"Quoting beautiful sentences from books is quite normal. Su Zelin, I think this just shows your deep literary foundation!"
"Yeah, others want to quote but can't think of anything! Senior Brother Di, you can't create every profound sentence yourself!"
"It's not that easy to integrate so many beautiful sentences into personal insights!"
"..."
Su Zelin's words made him appear more magnanimous, while the literary guy seemed petty, unable to stand others' success.
Di Sishao got roasted and went mute, secretly cursing in his heart.
Damn, all these shallow women, not a bit of substance!
The literary guy was a bit upset, gulped down a few sips of water to calm down slightly, then feeling nature's call, headed out of the classroom to the restroom.
This person was a bit weak in the kidneys and liked to drink water, he had to visit the restroom several times during every literary club gathering.
Su Zelin's gaze shifted behind him, onto the canvas bag hanging on the literary guy's chair.
The slacker's mouth curved into an almost imperceptible smile.
Hmm, this is the moment I've been waiting for.
"Nanaz, I'm going to the restroom, want to come along?"
He asked with a smile.
"Get lost!"
The response was Ding Linna's roll of the eyes, Nanaz found this guy a bit boring and continued chatting with the literary girls.
Su Zelin also stood up, heading towards the back door of the classroom at the same time.
He took out a few things from his student satchel, quietly stuffed them into the canvas bag.
Others were engrossed in their discussions, none noticed the slacker's little action.
In the restroom, Su Zelin stood beside Di Sishao, glanced at him, disdain flickering in his eyes.
This guy's kidney deficiency was serious; a young man of about twenty, and he was already wetting his shoes.
How dare you pursue Nanaz?
"Brother Di, you really should learn how to spin a pen."
Su Zelin laughed.
Di Sishao: "?"
The literary guy felt guilty, maybe Ding Linna tattled on me to this kid.
He stayed silent, quickly finished and left the restroom.
Not long after, Su Zelin returned to the classroom, passed by, and accidentally bumped the literary guy's canvas bag off the chair.
"Can't you watch where you're going?"
The literary guy was full of anger tonight and was already displeased with Su Zelin, so his words were blunt.
"Ah, I'm sorry, Senior Brother Di, it was an accident."
Su Zelin picked up the canvas bag, but in his "fluster," he grabbed the bottom and shook out all its contents.
"Damn, what's wrong with you?"
The literary guy burst out swearing, his voice raised by twenty decibels, attracting Ding Linna and the literary girls' attention.
Di Sishao no longer cared so much.
He had already torn face with these women today; from the literary club's perspective, there's no hope for him anymore, it would be a waste of time otherwise.
He decided to leave the club and never return, so he discarded his facade.
"It was just an accident, why are you being so aggressive?"
Ding Linna frowned, came over to help Su Zelin pick up the scattered books.
"Huh?"
She quickly noticed something.
Aside from the classics and literary magazines Di Sishao brought to show off, there were some oddities mixed in.
Their covers were vibrant and colorful.
Su Zelin picked up one titled "Passionate Nightlife" and looked at the literary guy with a peculiar gaze: "Didn't expect Senior Brother Di has such vast interests, not only liking literature but also human art."
Di Sishao looked at the magazine in Su Zelin's hand and was stunned.
Shocked gazes fell collectively on him.
Having such things surface in the literary club was like dropping a bomb in a fish pond.
The literary guy instinctively defended: "This isn't mine!"
"I also believe this absolutely isn't Senior Brother Di's. Senior Brother Di looks so dignified, seems like an upright person!"
Su Zelin also righteously defended Di Sishao.
Dignified, huh!
