"Hmm, daughters are the best." Lin Guozhi had already eaten in the army, but seeing the chicken leg before him, he took a bite with appetite. "Not bad; I haven’t found this kind of food in Z City."

"Mom, I’m fine," Lin Wan said, shaking her head helplessly at her mom’s meticulous care.

"It’s dark; you have to be careful, just in case."

In the end, Liang Hongmei went to her daughter’s yard and insisted on lighting the kang for her before going back.
