Nightstone gulped hard at the corpse of the Pandora Fishes and many other creatures that were caught in the massacre.
When scanned, only a few frogs were alive.
Nightstone immediately turned her gaze towards Pebbles only to see a frown sitting on his face.
She withdrew her glances but then spotted the lot Stone Spiders in the holes.
She then gave out a big smile and made an expression that said, "Did you all see that?"
She then prompting used her webs and threw herself like a catapult into one of the holes... maybe to talk sense to her kin.
Who knows, if Pebbles were to find it annoying, then maybe another population may end up disappearing?
Regardless, Pebbles now focused on the screen ahead.

Out of the two, he particularly looked at the third requirement. For the second, he wanted Nightstone’s help, but she had vanished.

As for his last requirement, he looked at the Pandora fishes.
Meat was meat, even if poisoned.
He had to take a small and tiny bite. A big bite might make him suffer again and he didn’t even have water to cleanse it.
So he took tiny little steps and reached near the dead Pandora fishes.
Then nonchalantly, he picked up a fish. This in particular was the smug looking Pandora Fish thay had hurled insults.
He didn’t give it a second glance.

After saying that, he lifted the fish and took a small, very small bite right around it’s belly.
He felt a few scales in his mouth but following that, he felt tender meat.
And that was when his eyes gave a faint bright glow.

In front of him, the supposedly dead bodies of the Pandora fishes had vanished into oblivion.
That oblivion was his stomach.
Without realizing, he had eaten the fishes left and right.

Then as if trying to recover from it, he was about to call to Nightstone.
He turned around almost calling her name when he noticed another spectacle.
The Stone Spiders were all on their butts. Their heads were lowered, and their eyes were closed.
And in front of all of them stood three Stone Spiders. 2 of then seemed big, as if two or three of them had Combined while the last one was none other than Nightstone.
She was the only one who was yet to bow.
In fact, she had this pose of some proud bratt who had puffed their cheeks and chest after doing something amazing.
"Nightstone, this...? What exactly...?"
And just then, Nightstone raised her voice.
"Master, these foolish bwitche- I mean, Spiders have realized their mwistakes. They now wish to be under your protection."
Pebbles eyes twitched at bit.
They were hypocrites. Now that they had found him strong, they came running.
Pebbles however didn’t reject this as it came at the right time.
"So, they want to become my pets?"
When he said that, the Stone spiders flinched. All of them. Even Nightstone, who simply gulped a small amount of saliva and looked back briefly.
Then she looked ahead and gave a powerful nod, adding, "Yes master."
Pebbles however wanted to dig a hole and sleep. Because he didn’t want to name a whole lot of them...

Every spider here was trembling a bit and everyone was probably fearing him.
The reason for which... Pebbles thought it was his ugliness. So he let it slide.

The moment he said that, almost with a smile, a lot of those spiders raised their heads. But the heads instantly touched the ground again when they heard him the second time.
"But just so you know, if any of you causes any trouble for me, then I’ll give punishments so harsh that you’d think death would be better."
