Chapter 32: Auction Begin's.

"You want auction tickets? I've got two. Do you want to buy it from me?" An old voice came from behind and slammed two tickets on the table where Lexus and Isabella were seated.

Lexus raised an eyebrow because this plot looked similar; maybe he's the protagonist after all.

"How much do you want?" Lexus asked, while Isabella slowly shook her head sideways.

"I only want ten gold coins for this." The old man who seemed drunk said he was taking hiccups because he was too drunk.

"Alright." Lexus immediately paid the man and grabbed those tickets.

The old man smiled mysteriously at Lexus and then left happily while whistling; Isabella just facepalmed herself with disappointment.

"You idiot, what if these tickets are fake?" Isabella asked; she was almost certain these tickets were fake.

"You'll see, these are real tickets, I am certain," Lexus confidently said, then ordered food.

Isabella didn't say much as Lexus was using his own money, and she didn't see the gold they'd looted together being used.

After eating warm food, both of them felt relaxed and comfortable in the cold weather; at last, they ordered some hot tea and enjoyed the view.

They went to the receptionist because they didn't know where the luxurious room was, and the receptionist, seeing them coming back, smiled.

"Oh! You've finished eating. Let me take you to your room." The receptionist took his hat from the nearby table and wanted to go upstairs.

Lexus pulled out the tickets he purchased from the old man and showed them to the receptionist.

"Look at these tickets; are we allowed in the auction or not?" Lexus confidently asked and looked at Isabella.

"Well, sir, that ticket is a fake one, I'm afraid, and if you've bought this from an old man, then I am sorry to inform you that that man is a con man." The receptionist, taking the tickets in his hand, said plainly.

"Is that so?" Lexus smiled; his one eye was twitching with anger. He thought he was a protagonist, but life was tough but he'll make sure the drunken old man has it tougher.

"Sir, If you're interested, I can sell you mine; I have one," the receptionist said with a calm tone.

"Only one?" Lexus asked; he was interested in the auction because he could see through the items more than anyone, but Isabella was his partner; he couldn't just go without her.

"Just go alone. Since we came here, you're very interested in that auction, while I don't have the slightest bit of interest in that kind of thing. I also need some sleep." Isabella said with a casual tone as if she really was not that interested in the auction.

Lexus didn't decide immediately; they followed the receptionist and went to their rooms first.

The room was cozy with a heater-type thing installed; it felt great for the both of them, and Isabella was really tired, although she slept on a moving carriage. She was constantly sleep-deprived; now, getting a soft bed, she immediately fell asleep.

"I guess she's really not that interested in the auction; I'll go see if it's worth it." Lexus, who was although lying in the soft bed, couldn't fall asleep because he was thinking about that auction.

Lexus wore something black and hid his face and tied his long hair and went downstairs; at first, the receptionist didn't recognize Lexus.

"I want to buy the ticket," Lexus said; he didn't change his voice so that the receptionist could recognize him.

"Oh! It's you, sir, of course; I am not going, so you can have it for 2 gold. The receptionist said, as an employee, he got a ticket for free, and he doesn't have money to buy anything, so selling the ticket was the best outcome for him.

"Alright, here, where is it?" Lexus immediately gave the receptionist the gold and took the ticket, which was black, but there were some gold lines on it.

"Go downstairs from here; it's general public entry, so don't cause any trouble for me," the receptionist said while looking at the black-masked figure, who even looked suspicious.

"Alright, I am a good boy; I don't cause trouble," Lexus said, then followed the way the receptionist pointed towards.

It was a small tunnel-like thing; Lexus didn't mind being a general public in an auction; he was eager to become one, actually, because protagonists are usually hiding in the mass of people.

After going down the stairs, he saw two guards were standing in front of a black door, and they were checking tickets of everyone who was entering.

Lexus casually gave the ticket when it was his turn, and they let him enter without a fuss, entering the Lexus saw auditorium-like atmosphere.

There was a huge stage, and his seat was under it, and typical VIP boxes were upstairs. Lexus marveled at the design of the auction house; it looked premium through and through.

There were not that many general seats; Lexus thought he'd be one in a thousand inside the auction, but there were only a hundred seats for the mass and twenty VIP boxes.

"Damn, there are more people in the VIP cabins than here." Lexus grumbled because VIPs were not alone in the cabin; there were 5-6 people inside one cabin on average, and mass seats were mostly empty.

"Well. It makes sense. If I were the owner, I would also call upon only the wealthy ones to buy my shit," Lexus said, then sat down on a random chair.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Today we've only invited our biggest customers and some handful of employees so that it won't be messy." A beautiful lady came on the stage, and as soon as she did, a light was focused on her.

She was wearing very revealing clothes and was looking very happy.

"So today the first bid is for me, hehe, as usual. If you want me for a night, you've bid now. The bidding starts at 20 gold coins." The lady in red shamelessly advertises herself first.

Lexus just rolled his eyes at her; he was seventeen and didn't want to get a prostitute all of a sudden to fuck.

"50 Gold Coins" A deep voice came from the crowd; everyone was looking around because no one knew who just bid for the beauty.

"The gentleman who just bid, can you stand up so that we can confirm your bid?" the lady in the red said cheerfully. Fifty gold for a night was a jackpot deal for her.

Lexus, on the other hand, who just bid, didn't even dare to move because he was just joking around.
