Chapter 594: Chapter 594: Charm

The stone platform was three meters high and approximately 100 meters in diameter.

Lying at the center of this stone platform was a humanoid, female figure, a woman in essence.

She was curled up in a fetal position as she grabbed her knees and had her face between her legs.

She was naked.

Her face was hidden but all could tell that this was a very beautiful being. Her naked back, the lines on her shoulder, her greenish-black hair which was sprawled on the floor next to her head.

They all exhibited the existence of extraordinary beauty.

As she lay there, the smallness of her waist and the curve of her hips seemed to bend reality slightly. It was as if even the universe was bewitched by the entity lying on the stone platform.

Even Kael, as strong as his will could be, was caught off guard.

He had merely stared at her back, yet a strange sensation rose within him. He suddenly awoke a strong desire to protect this being whom he had never even seen before.

He wanted to protect her, Kael wanted to cherish her and treat her like the princess of the universe, and he wanted to worship her.

Kael desired to serve her for the rest of his life. He was already making promises in his heart to treat her right, to treat her the way a princess should be treated.

For her beauty alone, Kael was ready to give her everything she wanted...

"Huh?"

Kael raised one of his eyebrows as he looked at the distant beauty lying on the stone pillar.

A flash of utter clarity passed through his eyes.

His expression remained cold and unaffectionate.

All those desires had come to Kael, but they were not Kael’s true desires. Kael was very much capable of identifying which thoughts were his own and which ones were not.

In fact, this should be a basic skill that any tier 5 Lion should have even if they were not spirit lions.

Kael turned his head slightly and from the corner of his eye, he was able to see that the other Lion Kings who were with him had already recovered themselves.

Such powers couldn’t hold them the way they were.

But Kael wasn’t oblivious to the potency of such power. Currently, this beautiful humanoid that was lying on the stone platform seemed to be incapacitated or had been trapped there for a very long time.

She wasn’t even actively trying to bewitch anyone yet it had such an effect. Kael could only imagine what would happen if this creature were allowed to roam free.

The power of a Primordial was not to be underestimated.

With the Primordial Peacock revealed, Zabita and Olivia had basically assisted in the finding of a Primordial.

Kael should be happy, but he wasn’t. First of all, he felt it was only natural that this conquest happened. It would have happened sooner or later, Zabita and Olivia were just instruments and catalysts that pushed the event forward.

It was a logic that stripped everything down to reward and punishment. They acted and made the effort to find the Primordial Peacock, not because they would receive a reward if they did, but because there was a punishment if they didn’t.

The same carrot and stick method that Kael had always relied on, except he was now so used to using it that it no longer brought him that much joy unlike before.

Secondly, Kael was not satisfied. He could feel that there was something wrong on this continent but he couldn’t quite place his finger on it.

"Retrieve it," Kael gave the order to the closest lion king behind him. The lion king nodded and flew toward the platform.

Kael remained in the sky like an almighty god overlooking his realm.

There was silence.

Gauss, Elijah, and the opposing lion Kings watched that Primordial Supporter fly toward the stone platform.

The lion king descended and transformed into his humanoid form. He was a War Lion, big and strong.

When he approached the beauty, he blinked, clearly being affected by the charming effects. He casually shrugged off the effects and reached for her body.

As soon as he touched her skin, his hand trembled.

He frowned.

Kael, who was watching from afar, watched closely.

The War Lion King pushed his fingers under her naked body and lifted.

He brought her up princess style and her face was revealed to everyone.

Her face was like the image of the cosmos, breathtaking, literally.

No, Kael literally held his breath when he laid his eyes on that face.

The sound of gasps filled the air.

A vicious light appeared in Kael’s eyes as he ruthlessly crushed the foreign emotions rising up in his mind.

Without hesitation, Kael waved his hand and a powerful spatial wave enveloped the whole field, stretching far and wide and covering hundreds of thousands of kilometers.

This was already a range that should be accessible only to tier 7 lions but Kael had gotten it with a wave of his hand.

Suddenly, the lion king who was carrying the humanoid Primordial of Charm noticed that the being was missing.

The whole ambience that had nearly taken his mind away was gone.

That charm filter that had drowned his mind and wanted him to worship the being was gone.

It was only now that the lion king realized that if Kael had not acted fast, he might have been trapped in an illusion and would have been forced to obey the whims of that Primordial.

So scary.

A little longer and his will would not have been his unless someone did something about it.

He looked down at his empty arms, his tail curving and swinging behind his back as he contemplated some things.

He had been too close. Although the All-King had saved him just in time, he had been able to feel the aura coming from that Primordial.

Tier 6.

It shocked him.

She had been kept captive by the Lion Kings who should technically know that allowing a Vassal to get so strong wasn’t a good thing.

How could they have been careless?

How could they let a foreign entity in the heaven of the lions get so powerful?

Were they trying to destroy the lion race?

The lion king, floating a few meters off the ground, turned around to see the distant Kael and the opposing lions who all had ugly expressions on their faces.

Kael, who had kept the unconscious Primordial Peacock in his temporary little pocket dimension, also wondered the same thing.

He could also feel the emanation from the body of the Primordial within the confines of the pocket dimension.

Kael had reacted fast as he was more sensitive to the fluctuations of foreign essence.

The question on Kael’s mind right now was why those Lion Kings refused to tell them to be careful about the effects the Primordial had when revealed.

This was clearly intentional. They knew that the Primordial had charming effects and still sought to let them put their hands inside the fire.

Kael looked down seriously, "Sinners and Traitors," He declared, obviously talking to Elijah and his group, "How would you like to die?"

Gauss landed back on the ground, "All-King, you misunderstand!" He shouted, he could feel the terrifying killing intent coming out of Kael’s eyes, and knew that there was no saving the moment.

They had hoped that the Primordial Lion would be enamored by the charm of the Primordial Peacock.

He had intended for the newcomers to be so attracted to the Primordial Peacock that they would not consider many things.

Perhaps, a bewitched Kael would be more lenient and would let them go.

And even if Kael did not really plan on letting them go, they could take the opportunity when the All-King and his henchmen were distracted by the peacock to escape.

Unfortunately, they didn’t know that Kael was blessed with insane reaction speeds, extraordinary senses beyond what any lion could imagine, and a really stable mind.

Trying to get him charmed by the Peacock might have worked before he started his journey to fully embody the Law of Conquering.

But now, it was like asking a natural-born Tyrant to lower himself to be a Slave. It was not possible.

"All-King, we didn’t know about this, I swear," Elijah also spoke up.

He was impulsive but not stupid, he could see that his life was in danger right now as the killing intent coming from all of the Primordial Supporters was very terrifying.

The other opposing lion kings also nodded their heads.

Kael had no intention of showing mercy though.

However, just before he could do or say anything, a particular Lion King came up to him and whispered into his ear.

This Lion King was from the Shadow Tyranny Coalition.

Kael’s expression did not change, but the killing intent in his eyes lessened.

"My kings want some Conquering Points and they wish to use referrals to get some rewards.

I think I can spare you," Kael said.

This was the only reason he would consider letting them go. Besides, he was yet to properly reward some of them for the help they had been giving him all this time.

Elijah’s expression darkened upon receiving Kael’s words.

Wasn’t there a rumor that anyone who had a foreign essence would be immediately discovered if they joined the lion system?
