Chapter 687: Chapter 687: Father The Immortal.

"HE DID WHAT?" A loud booming voice echoed from the transmission device in Seth’s hand.

Seth had a grim expression, "I tried to stop him, but he’s very powerful.

What do we do father?" He asked. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

There was silence for a brief moment.

"Nothing, just continue to do what needs to be done as usual.

We’ll let the tigers find out about this on their own. As for how Ibadon and that guy will handle it, that’s not our business."

"Yes, father," Seth responded, his voice filled with respect.

"Hmm, send your brother to me. He’s meant to gather experience, not risk his life like that.

Many powers have noticed and are already asking us how we were able to send him out without him being an immortal," The voice from the transmission device said.

Seth shrugged his shoulders, "Should we tell them, Father?" He asked.

"No," the voice said, "That your Law of Freedom can allow you to bypass the restriction of Original Heaven should be kept as a loose secret.

If they find out, who cares, but if they don’t, let’s keep it that way. We’ll maintain our mystery and have a separate trump card that they aren’t aware of.

Send your brother now!"

The voice was cut off, leaving Seth staring at the transmission device in silence.

Seth was in an enclosed room in the imperial palace. No windows or doors were here as there was no way to enter this room by normal means.

Only a teleportation circle etched in the corner could allow one to come here.

Seth wasn’t alone though, he was with his brother.

The same brother who had clashed with Memphis briefly before quickly calling Seth for help.

He too was a young master of the House of Luthor, although much much younger.

Seth turned to look at him, "Chez, you heard him, you’ll immediately start going back."

Chez, Seth’s younger brother nodded.

Although both of them shared the same father, they had different mothers, obviously.

Their father was immortal and it was almost impossible to find another female Immortal cat that would be willing to spend the rest of their eternity in commitment to their father.

So, their father was constantly rotating different partners and harems over the eons that have gone by. He was so used to it now that one would forget there was a time when he practically cried at the death of his first love.

Now, it was just normal.

Find a young beautiful female to enjoy with, or maybe a couple more at the same time. And because he was powerful, Seth’s father naturally had access to resources and a level of lifestyle that these females would never be able to get elsewhere.

And when they died, he would just fill their slots with replacements that had been prepared beforehand.

This was how Seth and Chev came into existence.

Their father had gathered many children, so many that a large chunk of the cat race owed its existence to him.

Seth and Chez were related to at least twenty to thirty percent of the current cat population in the whole universe.

Seth was not the first child of his father, he was just the most special one. Who would have thought that spending so many years having children would lead to one of them becoming a Primordial?

It was statistically possible but no one expected it, a Primordial born from another immortal.

As for their mothers, they were all dead and gone by now. Seth’s mother had merely made it to tier 6 before she died and Chez’s mother was the same.

Neither of them shared any hostility or hard feelings with the other.

As the Primordial Cat, Seth knew his boundaries, and so did Chez.

All Primordial Felines were not allowed to join the Ancient Council of Felines. Although this was more of a suggestion than an actual rule, it was one that was followed.

Not only did it give other more ordinary creatures the chance to rise up to greater heights and satisfy their ambition, but it also prevented decision lag in any of the civilizations.

The Primordial could make decisions for the whole race and the council member could focus on the council’s benefits itself.

That was how it was supposed to be though.

Seth’s father was a council member and also the de facto decision maker for the cat civilization.

Other Houses would usually report to him about anything. It couldn’t be helped, he was so strong and had such a high status and a lot of his kin were spread across the universe.

With Seth’s and Chez’s, things may change. Seth might become the leader of the cat civilization and Chez might inherit the position of council leader.

Alas, that was a big IF since their father was an immortal and he would probably not be leaving that seat of power anytime soon.

"Will I be going alone?" Chez asked.

Seth nodded, "I already have some clones still in Original Heaven waiting for you.

If you need help, just call me the way you always do," Seth said, a trace of warmth escaping from his cold white eyes.

What would he have after all was said and gone?

What would he have after one million years when many things did not matter? What would he have when all was lost?

His family.

His brother from a different mother.

It would be a lie if he said he did not cherish this brother of his. But he had a strange way of showing it, perhaps the side effect of being an immortal.

Seth didn’t want to invest emotionally in his brother too much, in case the latter did not end up achieving immortality.

Chez nodded, walked to the teleportation circle, and disappeared, leaving Seth all alone.

Suddenly, a ruthless light settled in Seth’s eyes. He tapped the transmission device in his hand and spoke into it.

"You can begin the Second Annihilation, they won’t see it coming..."
