Chapter 694: Chapter 694: Consorts And Violence

With Kael unharmed and Elizabeth still in shock, the situation was made clear.

Kael was probably no longer at anyone’s level.

Was he still a Primordial? Technically, yeah. But every day he strayed away from that path and was becoming something that the universe never intended to exist.

Kael’s golden gaze washed over Elizabeth, watching her body twitch repeatedly as her mind almost faded into unconsciousness.

Kael scoffed, having no trace of pity in his heart. He gave out a telepathic command that was received by one of the lion kings.

Suddenly, one of the lion kings rushed toward Elizabeth’s dragon form from above. His whole body dropped to the ground with the weight of a high-speed meteor.

*BOOM!*

His front paw landed directly on top of her head and the rest of his body crashed on her neck and back.

The whole island that she had been standing on exploded. That final blow was unnecessary but it had still filled Kael with satisfaction.

Now, he just had to wait.

But just before that.

Kael, still standing in the midst of his family, suddenly split into two. Now there were two Kael’s. The real Kael was standing where he had always been standing, with his two hands placed behind him.

The other Kael was standing there with his arms beside him and he was looking at the distant horizon.

"I’m ready to journey to the center of the universe to find the entrance to Original Heaven," The second Kael said as she floated off the ground casually.

Kael’s family looked at this with uneasy or blank expressions. This strange power of the All-King really unnerved them especially with how very identical they seemed.

"Won’t you be needing any escort?" Memphis asked, switching her gaze from the identical clone to the original Kael.

The original Kael shook his head, "I shall accompany myself, no need to waste energy.

A group of immortal lions and lionesses would already be on the other side of the gate if we are to believe what we know about the Original Heaven."

And with that, a few more clones appeared. Four in total. Making it so that there were currently five clones of Kael out in the open.

Was this the full might of Kael’s cloning ability that he got from the Primordial Rat of Freedom?

Probably not.

Kael had his own reasons for not always using the cloning ability to do everything.

It was because the cloning ability literally cost a lot of energy to sustain. Although it was very efficient, it was not reasonable for anyone to use it indefinitely.

Even Seth, who was an immortal and could generate hundreds of clones just as powerful as he was mostly did that when there was an actual need for it, not whenever he felt like.

Freedom Essence was being burned in excess for every clone that was in existence and the more clones there were, the more Freedom Essence was being consumed.

There was also the point that all the clones had about eighty to ninety percent of the original’s strength. This would put more strain on the reserve of Freedom Essence.

The five Kael clones looked around, confirming something to themselves before they all turned into golden beams and shot away.

Their speed was incredible. Instantly escaping the sights of all that saw them. Even the tier 7 lion kings couldn’t keep up.

Law of Speed.

No one knew if those clones would go and find an arkship to use or just descend into the mortalverse on their own.

What was even the point of using an arkship?

Kael was already in a whole tier of his own and those clones were not too far off.

At the same time, the golden aura that had enveloped all those lion kings began to fade away.

Elizabeth was properly unconscious and would be suffering from some kind of brain damage by now, not that he cared.

He was conserving his Conquering Essence.

Although many were wondering why the reversed Conquering Essence did not do anything to Kael, they didn’t think too much about it.

"Select the five candidates, I want to focus on assisting them in the meantime," Kael said, "Irrespective of any news that comes, don’t disturb me until we are done."

Memphis and the others nodded.

Memphis was the only immortal that the whole lion civilization had in the mortalverse. Although it was very impressive, it was far from enough to conquer the universe.

Although there should theoretically be more immortals in the Original Heaven, most of them were being trapped there by other parties.

And if Memphis becomes a Mid-Level or High-Level Immortal, that would be great. But that was not something to look forward to.

However, if they could have a group of Low Level Immortals, that was another thing.

Low Level Immortals at base power were planetary and at their peak were capable of a whole lot more. Kael could imagine what having a couple of thousand of those powerhouses would do.

It would be enough to further a lot of his plans by a good deal.

If only there were a way for him to accelerate the growth of all the lions, including himself.

If only...

"All-King..." Alyrat suddenly spoke up.

Everyone turned to look at her. Alyrat had grown, looking like a mature woman with a mix of Kael and Katari’s traits.

She was tall now, even slightly taller than her mother. Her hair was a bit messy but clean at the same time. She had a dodgy expression and a look that implied she didn’t really appreciate being looked at.

She had developed well under the assistance of the war and Ozia’s time bubble.

Now spotting very breedable hips and a really beautiful appearance, one may assume that she was at most Kael’s cousin or sister since they didn’t look that far apart in terms of age.

"Yes, what is it?" Kael asked with one of his eyebrows raised.

Alyrat was now tier 5 and on the brink of tier 6. Compared to all of Kael’s consorts who were now at least tier 6, Alyrat was relatively very weak.

It was a known fact to a few that Alyrat actually intended to become Kael’s consort. Whether she truly wanted this or it was under the influence of her mother did not matter. All that mattered was that she had a strong chance of success.

One should not let Alyrat’s calm and gentle demeanor fool them. Alyrat was equally as brutal and ruthless as Katari when it came to doing what must be done.

Alyrat had not participated in the Consort Trial to catch any Primordial, but she had done some really shady stuff.

Not only had she killed a few horses and dragons on her own merit, but she had also killed mango lionesses.

Yes, while the Consort Trial was still ongoing, Alyrat had secretly hunted down all those Earth Lionesses who stood a chance of actually succeeding.

Katari served as an enabler as she had intentionally been funneling information about different lionesses to her daughter.

If not that Wei had been one of the first to succeed and was also a Water Lioness, Alyrat might have targeted her cousin.

Because of the rumors of someone like Alyrat going around hunting down the competition, the Consort Trial had stalled a bit.

Lionesses were scared of attracting too much attention with their achievements lest they get killed off.

It wasn’t just Alyrat that did this though. Alora, Wei, Eidle, Ruda, and pretty much all of Kael’s consorts had done something to keep their positions when they noticed competition.

It wasn’t uncommon for the consorts to come together under an agreement so that they could join forces to utterly eliminate any competition that was rising.

Katari had even subtly guided them into helping Alyrat brutally murder any potential competitor.

Not only did they kill off some of their participants, but they also stole the credits for catching those Primordials that had been caught.

Kael’s consorts were no saints. That few had seen their dark sides was just because there had hardly been many reasons for it to show.

But with their positions in Kael’s life being threatened by outsiders, they easily found their most efficient method of solving problems.

Violence.

"I encountered some bees down in the mortalverse," Alyrat said, "They seem to be gathering the bodies of the fallen.

They did not discriminate, picking both horses, lions, tigers, and dragons. It is assured that they are already in the process of making more of their true honey."

"Hmm," Kael narrowed his eyes. Alyrat’s input was important.

There had been some rumors that the bees were starting to get active. At first, he had assumed that they wanted to help their former allies, the Destruction Dragons, but that wasn’t the case.

The bees were just gathering the ingredients needed to make their legendary True Honey.

And what was True Honey?

It was the second most valuable consumable of the universe besides Origin Essence. Origin Essence was innately infinite and could always be found in one place or the other as it was everywhere.

True Honey was not.

True Honey was also said to have so much potent power conserved in a single ounce.

It was sought after by many simply because of its use in speeding up and even boosting the chances of evolution.

Kael could imagine what it would be like if he could monopolize Honey.

"Indeed, the bees require some...’liberation’...heh!" Kael nodded and immediately went to work on the lion’s system.

Meanwhile, the Draconic Empire of Destruction was in turmoil.
