Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 701: Goldfish And Crow
Ralph, still holding the chains in his hand, walked over to Kael who also glanced at him.
Kael still wore his calm expression on his face and it didn’t look like he was offended or anything.
Kael wasn’t.
Even though they had come late, they had still arrived.
He would have said something about if not that his attention was briefly drawn to something else in that moment.
A message from N’bayé, she was urgently requesting his presence, saying that there was something he had to see. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
Kael had chatted with N’bayé for a while as Diane narrated their ordeal to him.
Meanwhile, another section of his attention was drawn to the clones that he had sent out to journey to the gate of the Original Heaven.
They were yet to reach their destination which was the center of the universe, but they were sure to arrive very soon.
They had fractions of Kael’s power and were utilizing the Speed Essence, making them extremely fast. The certainty that they would reach their destination was there even though Kael had never been there before.
He was eager to meet the lions on the other side of that gate.
However, on their way, Kael’s five clones had encouraged a variable. Seth’s brother, that cat with the power of darkness.
Chez.
At first, Kael’s clones did not know that the person who was heading in the same direction as they were was Seth’s brother because all they saw was an arkship and they were too far away for Kael to be able to probe the insides.
It was after some time that the clones noticed a dark aura and Kael remembered that there was only one creature he knew currently to have the power of darkness.
Seth’s brother.
Kael put two and two together.
Seth and his brother were from Original Heaven. Kael was currently heading toward Original Heaven.
And this person who was also heading in the same direction as he was had a dark aura.
It was a very accurate guess.
But, he didn’t engage, none of the clones did.
They just observed as they continued flying at incredible speeds.
With various laws under his control and his strong power over space, Kael easily hid himself from the radar and prevented the warp signals from detecting him.
Even then, with all this happening, the main Kael stood in Leonine Heaven in the midst of his Primordials with a face that masked his inner thoughts.
"Ralph," Kael called to the Primordial Wolf with interest laced in his tone.
Although he spoke openly,.no one besides Ralph heard his voice.
As soon as Ralph was close enough, he let go of the chains and went down on his knees.
"All-King! I have succeeded!" He declared in a loud voice.
Kael was silent for a few seconds, quietly observing Ralph. He could see that the Primordial wolf had probably reached the tier 6 power level quite recently.
The hunt had definitely been beneficial.
"Present them," Kael said, his hands still clasped behind his back.
Diane, his other consorts, and the other Primordials all watched with focused attention.
Ralph nodded. He stood up and pulled the chains in his hand. He yanked it so hard that the ground cracked and the air vibrated.
But the two beings bound by the chains, the golden-haired young girl and the black-haired young boy, only walked forward reluctantly.
From this, everyone could tell that they had a high level of physical endurance. Ralph was by no means weak in the strength-dependent even if he wasn’t a Primordial of Strength.
Kael had listened to Diane’s narration and understood a little more about what had happened.
He found it reasonable that Ralph ended up calling for help.
Perhaps, if he didn’t. Not just him, but the whole squad of wolf hunters that accompanied him would have faced tragic calamities.
"All-King," Ralph began. He used his free hand to pull on the right chain, forcing the golden-haired girl to step closer.
The golden-haired girl looked up at the tall All-King with a gaze filled with curiosity. There was snow fear in her eyes, no trepidation. Only a little bit of playfulness but mostly curiosity.
She stared so long that she began to look into Kael’s eyes.
Ralph did not notice this, nor did he notice Kael’s finger flinching a bit.
"All-King, this is the Primordial Goldfish of Good Luck...
And this other one," Ralph turned to the other child-like being and pulled the chain. The two little Primordials were now standing in front of Kael, looking at him with different questions running through their minds.
"This is the Primordial Crow of Bad Luck.
Both of them were residing on the same planet and had a very close relationship with each other.
When I set out to find Luck, I did not expect that it would come in pairs."
Ralph said with loyalty oozing from his eyes. Truthfully, Ralph was less excited about the Hunt and was already thinking of what Kael would send him to find.
What abstract Eldritch thing will he have to go and fetch again?
"Neither did I," Kael said honestly, looking down at the two children.
But he wasn’t fooled. He knew that these two entities were not as young as they looked.
Kael could see that they should be more or less around two hundred years old each, if not more.
Not only did they not have access to a time bubble wherever they were, but the laws they were affiliated with were extremely complex.
One could take a look at Ralph and see that he was already a tier 6 entity. Although most of his progress was forged under the fire of near-death experiences and battles, it was still commendable.
Unlike Kael who took about fifty years to reach the same level. Well, to be fair, Kael was comprehending the act of embodying the law also at that time so it’s not like he was lagging behind.
For all Primordials, evolving was just one thing. Some could achieve high power levels in a few years and some could take thousands of years.
However, if they didn’t embody their law, then it wasn’t worth it.
"Idiot!" Suddenly, the black-haired young boy cursed out loud with a disgusted look on his face.
