Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 708: Thank You For Bringing Him
President Musty was now in his true golden horse form, although he was pressed down by Voldemort, his aura was still mighty.
The mighty aura of a Primordial was condensed on his body.
"Stop, you have to let me go," President Musty said as he pushed against the ground, fighting against the downward force coming from Voldemort’s claw.
Voldemort didn’t flinch.
Perhaps, if President Musty were still in his prime, when he had the regular Conquering Essence under his command, he would have given Voldemort a little trouble.
But now, he was no different from an ordinary tier 6 horse with no special powers whatsoever.
Even the reversed Conquering Essence he had could only be used in the lions. To Voldemort, it was completely useless and unworthy of mention.
"Hold still, they’ll soon be here," Voldemort said coldly, one of his claws inching dangerously close to Musty’s eyes.
Musty snorted, "You’re a big fool, do you think they’ll let Elizabeth go after all she has done?
What’s stopping them from just killing Elizabeth and me? Huh? What?"
Musty’s rant was not without reason.
The lions were not the type anyone could trust to be reasonable or honourable.
Hearing the questions, Voldemort had to think. Musty was right, what was stopping them from killing both Elizabeth and Musty at the same time?
He alone could not fight against the whole civilization, they would tear him to shreds.
Unfortunately, Voldemort did not think this far. Most of his plans had involved finding ways to evade Ibadon’s detection as that was seen as the biggest obstacle.
As for what he would do after getting into Leonine Heaven, he didn’t exactly think deeply about it.
The lions were the ones that openly stated that they would release Elizabeth if President Musty was handed over to them.
But that was under the misguided assumption that they respected Ibadon’s strength enough to honour their word.
The All-King was the one who said it, and he spoke for the whole lion race.
Here Voldemort was, alone in heaven, no backing, no army, no Ibadon.
Just him and his hostage.
But although Voldemort had not thought of a way to make the lions honour their word, he had thought of a way to hurt them.
It was something hypothetical that he just thought of and he never got the chance to confirm it until now.
Seeing the multiple dots in the golden sky getting bigger every second, Voldemort quickly began a high-speed conversation with President Musty.
"Your powers, is it being infinitely generated?" Voldemort asked.
"Not infinite, but I can still create more," President Musty responded fast, hearing the furious roars that got louder made him sit up.
He had momentarily forgotten that Voldemort killed his wives a few minutes ago. He just cared about his survival now.
"Can you channel that reversed Conquering Essence into me?" Voldemort asked.
His toxic green scales began clattering, his danger senses were going haywire.
"You’ll die," President Musty warned, not that he cared. He just didn’t want the only person with the ability to protect him from the lions to die just like that.
"Just follow my lead and channel everything you have into me when I say so," Voldemort ordered, pressing his claws harder on President Musty’s neck.
President Musty gave a slight nod to show that he understood.
"A DRAGON! A MOTHERFUCKING DRAGON!"
The arrival of the first lion king was officiated by the profanities that spewed from his mouth.
The arkship was still a few hundred kilometres away but millions of shockingly racist insults had landed on both Voldemort and President Musty.
Voldemort’s face darkened. He lowered his head and bent his limbs slightly, ready for a fight.
Soon enough, thousands upon thousands of arkships had arrived on the scene, surrounding the little continent Voldemort and President Musty were on.
Voldemort looked around and saw that every angle was covered. It was incredible and also frightening, seeing so many arkships here just because of him.
If he had an army with him, he wouldn’t be as nervous as he currently is.
The golden sky was completely blocked by now as the metal hills of arkships filled the gaps of every possible space.
There were a lot. And each arkship had the presence of a king within.
"I need to see the All-King, I’m a representative of the dragons and I have brought the Primordial Horse for..." Voldemort began.
"The fucking winged lizard is talking guys, this one has guts!" Voldemort was interrupted by the loud voices of one of the kings.
"His guts? Yes yes yes, his guts will taste very nice. Let’s have his guts!" Another one said, craziness etched into the sound of his voice.
"Who keeps on giving these lesser creatures such audacity?"
"Yeah, look at this one. It’s true, the dragons truly believe that they are our equals now."
"Aagh, my cousin and mother died from the Second Annihilation, we must do something."
"Obviously, we can’t just let them go. But this dragon alone is not enough to quench our thirst for revenge.
We need to do some serious genocide guys, that’s what I’ve been saying all this time!"
"Ah yes, nothing like genocide to calm the mind. I agree."
"There’s that horse too," Someone suddenly pointed out.
Most had been insulting Musty without actually calling him out.
"Leave that one, the All-King is already on his way," Someone said.
Although they were all saying all sorts of things about the dragons, the majority of them had their ferocious eyes focused on President Musty. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Voldemort noticed this, and President Musty also noticed this.
The lions were not barbaric, they could identify the biggest threats even though it appeared as if they didn’t.
What was stopping all of them from pouncing on Voldemort and taking President Musty away from his cold corpse?
Well, it wasn’t because he had his sharp toxic claws hanging over President Musty.
A small spark appeared behind Voldemort, the spark of a heavenly gate about to open. This was the reason they did not approach any further.
Voldemort and Musty could still escape.
They didn’t know that Voldemort was bluffing.
Before now, Voldemort had prepared. He had taken a devolution seed to become a human for the sole purpose of removing his former Draconic Heaven Heavenly Beacon.
Since he was already a very powerful tier 7, it was not meant to last. His colleagues also used a less refined and more aggressive method for the extraction of the devolution seed after the first heavenly beacon was gone.
The method they used to remove the devolution seed was crude and thankfully did not cause any underlying damage.
Only after Voldemort had rid himself of his first heavenly beacon could he take another one.
The new heavenly beacon he took was for the Leonine Heaven and it was what he used to open the Heavenly Gate to this place.
Voldemort had prepared, but not enough.
The lions didn’t know that he was bluffing. They didn’t know that he was the one who had personally opened the portal to this place.
If they did, they would also know that Voldemort was stuck without access to any heavenly gate for at least seven months and at most, a year, depending on how much time Voldemort could afford to have off.
As Voldemort and Musty were mercilessly on the receiving end of all these tyrannical insults, there was a subtle change in the environment.
A shift, a tilt, an angle.
Suddenly, reality didn’t seem that balanced anymore.
Then it went away.
"President Musty...oh, and Imperial Guard Voldemort?" The deep voice of the All-King arrived before he did, calming the noise.
All conversations, vocal or telepathic, ceased to continue.
Suddenly, space and time began to fold and collapse on themselves, exposing inner and outer pocket dimensions.
The distance between places began to shrink and expand rapidly in front of their eyes.
Voldemort looked around, he saw whole groups of arkships shifting through reality without leaving their positions. They just moved.
And once space had decided to unfold, everything went back to its original positions.
Everything except the space directly in front of Voldemort.
"Imperial Guard Voldemort, where is Ibadon?" The All-King asked, looking at the large green dragon standing over the golden horse with a curious gaze and a playful smile.
"He’s waiting for me..." Voldemort muttered after recovering from his shock. The All-King was standing directly in front of him in his humanoid form.
The All-King let out a deep chuckle but didn’t say anything about it. Kael did not believe Voldemort, and even if he did, it didn’t matter
Kael remembered his situation on the battle planet when Ibadon had almost succeeded in killing him.
This Imperial Guard Voldemort had been the one to initiate that Nest Call and commence the battles.
Voldemort was a key player in Exalon’s death.
Kael had never forgotten about this, and he would never forget it.
"Thank you for bringing President Musty," Kael said with a kind smile, walking casually toward the green dragon.
"I’ll be taking him now," Kael added just as his aura began to rise and his eyes flashed with horrendous killing intent.
"Wait, what about our Empress? What about Elizabeth?!" Voldemort demanded as he leaned back slightly.
The All-King did not pause his steps.
"Oh..."
