Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 713: Five To One
Mortalverse, close to the center of the universe.
Five beams of golden energy streaked across the starry tapestry of the void, not deviating or straying from their intended paths.
Over time, these beams of light which were the five clones of Kael heading to the Original Heaven, had changed.
When they started this journey, their energy was scattered out and not yet solidified, expressing some kind of instability or incompleteness that was inherited from the original body.
But now, they streaked with purpose and divine focus. Their forms as these fast-moving beams of light were merely a glimpse of the former power of the All-King.
Their minds had transformed.
Suddenly, the five clones, sharing one mind, came to a decision and tilted slightly, changing course to fly at another angle.
Using the Law of Speed, they flashed forward at incredible speeds, crossing multiple star systems in seconds.
They were moving so fast that their speed would rival the warp speed of arkships, if it didn’t surpass it.
How reality did not shatter around them was a mystery as their speed was breaking the foundation of many physical laws.
All of a sudden, the five beams approached an arkship that was also moving at an incredibly fast pace and was speeding through the darkness.
"You guys should stop!" A loud voice filled with panic resounded from the arkship in the form of a warp signal.
Kael, with his advanced mind, received and interpreted this warp signal instantly, but none of the clones changed direction.
In fact, they were getting closer and closer to the arkship every second that passed.
"Stop, do you know who I am?" Chez, Seth’s younger brother, and the one who was inside the arkship shouted again.
Inside his arkship, he was standing in the center of his chamber of command and observing the holographic screen with wonder.
The hostile intent coming from those five beams of light was clear as the stars. There was no two ways about it, these beings had ill intent toward him.
Chez swiped his fingers through the air, zooming in on the images appearing on his holographic screen.
He was soon able to make out the figure and shape that was inside one of the golden beams of light.
That face, that build.
Chez had seen that figure before. Although not in person, he had seen the images distributed through info orbs.
Wasn’t that the All-King?
"Shit!" Chez panicked, then calmed down, then panicked again.
"Shit shit shit shit..." Chez knew why the five beams of light were chasing him and he didn’t try to say anything to stop them again.
He just focused on making it to the Original Heaven as fast as he possibly could.
Unfortunately, there was a change in how things were going to be done from now on.
Chez felt the world shrinking, he felt suffocated. Life was flashing before his eyes and everything was just moving way too fast.
He glanced back at the holographic screen and saw that one of the five beams was missing.
"What?"
Chez quickly glanced at the other holographic screens just in time to see something horrific.
Beside the arkship, a flattened palm pierced through the fabric of space and slashed out, cutting a wide gash in the void.
Out of this void gash was the owner of the flattened palm, with eyes that were as cold as the deepest parts of hell, Kael.
The remaining four clones did this at the same time.
They slashed at the world in front of them and cut their way through the void, closing the distance between them and the still-moving arkship.
This was not just horrific, it was unbelievable. The amount of precision one would need to cut through space to catch up to a moving arkship was insanely high.
Yet, the All-King had done it five times.
*BAM!*
One of the clones struck out. His fist which was shrouded in the light of a myriad laws fell upon the metal hull of the arkship.
It was like a needle through butter. The force transferred pierced through the body of the arkship, shattering the insides and rendering multiple chamber worlds desolate.
That punch would have burst a hole through any planet.
Naturally, Chez’s arkship derailed and the five clones chased after it.
They struck out repeatedly. Using simple kicks and punches to tear the arkship piece by piece until most of the chamber world had been carved out.
With a rapid series of strikes, two of Kael’s clones burst into the chamber of command.
Chez brought his arms up and summoned a wave of darkness, and attempted to protect himself while returning an attack in the process.
Unfortunately, he underestimated just how weak he was in front of the current clones of the All-King.
All Chez saw was a blinding flash of gold before something smashed into his face.
There was no longer any stable artificial atmosphere or a medium for sound to travel through, but the shockwave of that hit blasted the interior of the command chamber away.
The cold environment of outer space embraced Chez’s skin as he flew down.
By coincidence, the arkship had been decimated at a particular star system that was quite special.
There was a habitable planet here and Chez was falling straight toward that planet with pounds of blood leaking from his nose and busted lips.
Chez, recovering from that terrifying punch to the face, opened his eyes just to see three beams of golden light coldly racing toward him.
"Wait! My father..."
Chez’s telepathic words were cut off as a superpowered knee dived into his abdomen.
Just before Chez was blasted back, he saw the face of his attacker a bit more clearly than before.
Those eyes.
There was no smile on his face, no sign of internal conflict.
Just someone who knew what had to be done to get what he wanted.
Chez’s body burst into flames as he fell to the planet behind him. His abdomen was aching with a few organs having turned to mush because of that knee drop.
Still, before Chez crashed to the surface of the planet, he was besieged countless times by four clones.
It’s not like Kael was being intentionally cruel, this would have ended much sooner if Chez just lost consciousness on time.
Meanwhile, one clone hovered in low orbit above the planet, overlooking the whole globe with a curious expression.
This planet was not ordinary, rather, the inhabitants were not ordinary.
Was it because they were now close to the Original Heaven?
Upon observing for a few more seconds, the clone’s expression relaxed. It had come to a conclusion after careful assessment.
Based on the aura of death and life and the residual power coming from it as well as the core that was releasing cerebral activities. Kael made a judgment.
This planet...was alive.
