After coming to that conclusion, Jonathan decided he should leave the magical path. He believed the time would be close to 9pm already. He must attend the night class.
Jonathan closed his eyes and he slowly opened then again. He woke up in the real world pretty fast.
Just as he woke up, he moved his attention to the clock in his room. It was thirty minutes past nine. Jonathan heart missed a beat seeing he was late again.
"Damn it!"
Jonathan rushed out of his room. As he came out, he remembered he hadn’t taken his bath. He totally forgot about that when he entered the room back, all he wanted was to train, and now he was going to have another section with his superiors.
He really reek of sweat. Seeing his uniform was giving off the odor, Jonathan decided to change it by putting on a new uniform.
Jonathan came out quickly and started looking for the spiritual ground the bald headed man was talking about.

The new recruitment were inside a hall that looked like a religious temple. Inside the hall were statues of men and women praying with different hand signs.
Unlike the hall from this morning, where there were no chairs to sit down, this hall contained several benches that could contain five or six people.
Everyone in the new recruitment were all seated with several benches still available to be occupied.
The instructor of the night was a woman, she had different dominion from the instructor of this morning, a higher control and superiority.
One could easily tell that she holds a higher rank than the bald headed man, and she probably awakened between the element ability or the summoning ability.
It didn’t take long for them to know that she awakened the element ability and her element was fire.
The lady stood gallantly in the middle of the gathering. She calmly placed her hands behind her back as she spoke.
"There is a war coming and majority of you haven’t entered the first stage of your magical path yet. You might be thinking you still have time, but the concept of time doesn’t exist in a war. Who knows what might happen, tomorrow you might all be heading to the battlefield.
If Alphacrest were to strike our border tonight, you all will be heading to the battlefield tomorrow."
Her voice was audible, without a single trail of sympathy and filled with utmost authority.
Her words caused the hearts of many of the new recruits to start pounding heavily, including Luke whose legs kept shaking the moment she mentioned they could be heading to war tomorrow.
The lady waited for everyone to digest her words before she continued.
"Your training here will be coming to an end in seven days’ time. The time had been shortened by the superiors from nine days to seven days."
The hall immediately became noisy, but it went down immediately the lady spoke.
"On the fifth day of your training, you will be put to test in a real combat situation.
One of the instructors would be summoning some of his deadliest beast, and you all would be locked inside the confrontation hall with the monsters.
Only those that have entered the second stage of their magical path would be able to stand against the monster, if you don’t enter the second stage of your magical path before then, you will be useless and you know what happens to useless people in the battlefield, they die first!"
Her words increased the fear in the surrounding, and the place became noisy again. How were they going to enter the second stage of their magical path within five days? According to data, entering the second stage of the magical path could take ten days.
Luke couldn’t help but voice out then.
"I think this is too much from the superiors. I am not saying for myself, but for the normal folks that don’t have any magical boosting items, I find it impossible for them to enter the second stage of their magical path within five days.
According to credible data, it takes ten days to achieve such height and that is through hard work as well."
Many people saw Luke as Jesus when he spoke. He was their savior.
"I don’t think that is possible. This is ridiculous from the higher ups."
Other special abilities users voiced out to back Luke up.
The lady didn’t put ears to Luke’s words. She walked to the front of the room then turned to face everyone.
"According to datas, for average people it would take approximately ten days to enter the second stage of the magical path. These research were done during peaceful time, but now we are speaking in a time where a war is right at our doorstep, there should be nothing like being average in a time like this, unless you want to sacrifice your life by distracting the enemies so the real soldier would be able to take them out easily.
I bet nobody wants to be a sacrificing bait for his comrades, and we don’t want weaklings like that in the army that would be marching to Alphacrest. Rather than putting such a person in the squad, we will rather kill them ourselves in the training ground."
Her words spike fear in everyone’s faces. She faced Luke and continued.
"If you want to survive the combat training that has been arranged for you five days from now, you have to be at the second stage of the magical path, and that is just the beginning. Being at the second stage means you will be able to handle the monsters that the summoner would be unleashing, it doesn’t mean you will be able to kill them.
Some of you haven’t faced a monster before so you will probably be broken when you face one, and most importantly, the numbers of the monster are endless, until you complete the task that would be given to you then, you would continue to fight with the endless swamp of monsters." 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
Panic spread across the place. Not only was obtaining the second stage of the magical path impossible, it wouldn’t even guarantee them survival.
Luke couldn’t help but voice out again.
"I don’t understand, Combat training shouldn’t be this much of a big deal. Injuries could occur and death as well. There is a war coming, the country needs more army, how could they be plotting to reduce their manpower."
