Reincarnated Into A Dead Woman's Body In Another World-Chapter 306: Going Forward (Please Read)

Heya! Author here. There’s some stuff I want to say, discuss and share info about the story going forward.

We’ve finished Arc 4 and the Interlude Chapters! The Trailon Regime’s Volumes are wrapped up. Yay! Where do we go from here? Arc 5 of course!

But there’s some stuff that hasn’t been sitting well with me. It’s to do with how often I update and my writing in general. It’s often that the creator is the most critical of their work and the same applies here.

Everything I’ve written so far, has gone to my initial plan since the beginning of the story. The plot for the most part, hasn’t changed too much from my expectation.

I’ve reformed and changed Arc 4 as a whole even, but the plot is still according to plan; I just changed the execution. While I do think there are many story moments and great moments in Arc 4, I do feel like it can get a little bloated here and there.

While I will go through the previous Chapters to proofread them and such, there are just other things—like Cinder and Gale. I’ve had them planned since the start—same goes for most antagonists for upcoming arcs.

However, I didn’t think too well on the execution of all the elite soldiers. Those two felt, at least in my view, a little one-dimensional and just something to move the plot forward. I don’t think any of my antagonists have this level of value in any arc in the future.

They do have a story, they do have a personality; but there was little to no way to express that without forcing it into the natural flow of the story or dragging Arc 4 out even longer.

While I believe there are many good moments in the Last Stand, such as the fight with Rain, I also find that it doesn’t have the RIWBAW vibe and charm as a whole; even if it does here and there.

Still, it can be boiled down to, even though this was supposed to be an adventure story, Jotou wanted to help her friend and it was still about the characters—nothing was lost entertainment-wise. Sometimes you just have to move through a plot and go with the characters.

I think the story is still good and made for good tension and interactions between our protagonists. I just feel a little inadequate on certain parts of the story. Still, the plot and consequences from it I’ve already gotten now and we’ll move onward.

Anyhow, let me talk about some plans going forward.

As you might be aware, there’s been a LOT of delays in my schedule. This is just due to personal reasons and irl stuff such as stress, random headaches, getting sick etc.

Rest assured, unless I’m quite literally dead, this book will continue to update until it ends; and I do have an ending planned. So as many delays or breaks as I take, this story won’t be abandoned and will be complete.

I love my world, story and characters too much to not do that. And if there are delays or I’m taking a break or if something comes up, I will announce it or notify it beforehand or during.

As for the story itself, Arc 5 will be delving into Burnetrout, the City of Fashion and Flare! The plots going on there? Who knows? You may have to solve it yourself~

And as for my plans for the story? The ending is a long while away. I have plans and plots prepared all the way up to before the ending. Arc 5 will also host another set of Interlude Chapters before moving on to Arc 6.

The plan’s all already laid out. Now it’s just up to me to write them into existence! Will Arc 5 be longer than Arc 4? I can’t quite say for sure; but for the most part, I don’t think so. Feel free to mock me if I’m wrong.

I also have the Okod backstory still in the depths lol? Idk what goes on with Webnovel summoning pens, but I don’t think there’s a bonus Chapter function anymore for me? Regardless, I’d still have to write them, they’re just ready to be written.

I also have an Arabella backstory, the CRASH from Daiyu’s perspective, a Kazuo Namora story, a lead-up story of how Anastasia Princely dies, a ’What If?’ scenario if Jotou never came to this world or arrived in Kria.

Essentially bonus stories that I want to share at some point, but are not particularly crucial. Let me know if you want them just released as a Chapter randomly or something like that. Which side story would you be most interested in out of the lot? Lemme know!

Is there anything more to say? Oh yeah, at the time of writing, I’ll be taking a little break before Arc 5 and I’ll return on the 1st of Dec with the first Chapter.

I hope for better things for this story if Webnovel could recognize it. An audio version, a comic adaption or even an animation would be great, no? Hah~ I can sure dream.

For now, they haven’t even added the character pics I gave to the ’Fandom’ section on the app a while ago. Delays? Did I send the wrong format? Who knows? I’ve got no one informing me about it.
