The blinding light did take long, Just as Marcel was done covering his eyes, He felt a heavy impact right across his chest, throwing him 5 meters before he hit a wall. When he caught some breath and tried to check the damage he sustained. A mace hit him on his back as he was kneeling.
This flattened him till a molt in his shape was dug out. As he embraced for another attack, nothing came. 10 seconds, 20 and when 30 seconds have passed he got curious. He stuck his head out, only to find the guardian back where they started.
On one of the guardians, some scratches could be seen on its heavy mace with a metal body, small spikes all over the metal.
He quickly checked his body, fearing that adrenaline might be masking a serious injury. And to his relief, the only injuries he sustained came from his face scratching the wall then floor.
"This is some strong armour, and to think Alex could use it at any moment he so wishes.... Wait, am I being jealous right now?" After thinking for a moment he found his answer. "Yes, who wouldn’t want to walk around with an arsenal which could turn anything into an efficient and powerful variant of itself. That’s a cheat."
Standing up and taking the dust off his face and hair, He looked at the two 2 and a half meter giant statue guardians. ’They are not just big, but their speed is next level, I couldn’t figure out what was happening till I was smashed to the wall. But speed is not my strength though , so I have to think of a different strategy..... Wait, why not make this a terrain battle’
He opened his palm and his hammer disappeared into nothingness. ’For this to happen I have to use that bothersome skill. With this chaotic energy perhaps I might get to master it on this battle’

Suddenly Marcel felt a bond with every elemental in this cave. It was as if his body grew past his body. The Guardians felt it too. This time around both of them activated and proceeded towards Marcel’s body.
Their charging speed was beyond what Marcel expected, but that wasn’t the only thing he didn’t expect to happen. The chaos energy suddenly started to assimilate with Marcel. It became a part of his body. Suddenly he felt every atom in his body, and understood their positioning. He could control his body on an atomic scale.
The first thing he did was turn into fog. The guardian just passed through him. Unable to touch his physical body. Suddenly Marcel felt the energy within his cells get too excited, The released so much energy that the room got too hot. The mist turned into a whirlpool for a moment before everything came to a stop.
’What the hell was that, did... Did I level up so many times that my body almost melted rocks from the energy released? By how much my bond with my Mystica has strengthened I’m guessing I’m almost at level 90! My power grew by 10 levels!’ He couldn’t believe it. God knows how much work he had been putting in understanding his Mystica.
The theory of Elements, what they are, what they do and how they influence the world. He understood the theory within the books or old texts he found in many Dimensions he jumped in. He quickly stopped thinking about anything that distracted him in the battle. He materialised his body at the entrance of the cave section, The guardian now finally having something to bash quickly made their way to him.
They were still fast, but now he could keep up with them. The moment he got out of the way, the floor turned to mush. Trapping the feet of the guardian. ’As a landlord I’m only limited by my imagination’ He raised his hand and a lance materialised floating in the air. With a simple forwards hand movement the lance found itself in the right eye of the guardian.
The guardian didn’t even have a second to protest before its life was ended. Then Marcel looked at the remaining guardian. Marcel manifested another lance, trying to shoot it down as well, Unfortunately its feet where still free so it smoothly evaded all the attacks coming its way,
While Marcel tried to manifest another lance. The guardian managed to sprint right in front, frightening him. A mace hit him right in the ribcage, sending him a good discance. Just as he was planning to turn into mist again, another attack hit him on the side. Throwing him in the air. ’Landlord uses too much energy, I’m running out of my allotted amount and that includes the one I got when I leveled up just now.
At this point it should just be a Taboo as well, But i’m not surprised, with how broken it is, I’m not surprised it uses this much energy. Ok... let’s not waste time, my next attack should take this guy down or I;m toast.
The guardian was already on its way to him."You are finally here, what took you so long." He turned himself into mist then the floor, walls and ceiling brought out spikes. Peacing the guardian into swiss chess. "Finally, the bastard is down." He returned back into physical form.
Letting his Mystica rest and recover. "Ok, let’s see what all this fuss was about". He walked towards the door, only to find two heart shaped openings on each side. He turned and looked at the guardians. "Well home is where the heart is I guess. Thank you for opening your hearts to me". He took out the hearts of the guardians.
